Meg- I am trying to rock miss E to sleep now as we speak been going for 15mins so far. In the day I have to get her to sleep with the hugabub or rocking in the bouncer or with her dummy. She won't self settle will just cry and work herself into a state. At night its bit easier cause she falls asleep on the boob and then I lie her next to me but she usually needs some patting as well to get her to sleep. In the day I change after a feed and at night between sides so if she poos again after that I leave it cause no way am I gonna wake her just to start all over again!
Kaz- Glad you got some help, not heard of "ring barking" got an interesting name to it! This BFing business can be so hard but gets so much easier. Hope you got a good night sleep.
Nai- I'm in Bentleigh so don't know if thats too far for you, ket me know and I can send you my GPs details. Thats great DD1 is swimming so well, we really need to look into swim lessons, Df was going to do some over summer with Ash but never got around to it so think I should just enrol her somewhere.
Laura- You prolly could do that you may just need to express at or after the party what you would've given so to keep up your supply. Maybe try her with some first so you know she'll take it.
We had a shocker start to the night last night. Started ok, I kicked back in bed with Em on my chest so she could fall asleep properly, had feed 9:15, fell asleep, I put her down, 5 mins later she was screaming and screamed for 2 hours. Poor thing seemed to be in pain and nearly lost her voice, I think it was wind pain cause she was drawing her legs up too. She'd fall asleep on me then just keep waking screaming. I did the whole massage on her tummy and riding her legs and everything whcih helped but as soon as I tried to put her down again screaming. I really should go get some wind drops I think.
Nai, you must be so proud of your DD1 for her swimming efforts! What age did she start?

Today we are going to my Dad's and stepmom's for a BBQ. They haven't met Leon yet and are busting to see us. I just hope they don't expect us to stay for long. They said it was a "late BBQ" whatever that means, and DP has work at 3:30am tomorrow so hope they understand.
Holly- I noticed last night your location said McKinnon and I was thinking wow that just down the road from me! I wonder if we've passed each other down at the shops and things.
Lol Shell probably! I just updated my location last night as well! Are you a Coles, Safeway or IGA shopper?! If you shop at Coles I've probably pushed a trolley past you many times!
Lol, I usually go to safeway now, lines are alot shorter than coles and isles are bigger! For cheap fruit and veg check out the asian shop next to IGA in centre Rd. So cheap there.
Holly, DD1 started swimming lessons at 6months but we were taking her to the pool from 3months. I daresay we will do the same with DD2 as I will be starting to teach swimming soon. DP and I swim a lot and have always said that we don't care whatever else the girls want to do but they must learn to swim no matter what.
Haha Shell yes we love the asian grocery - they always try to sell you extra at the checkout!
Nai, swimming is top priority here too. I want DS to start lessons as soon as he can. I'm worried about the pool chemicals though and how it could affect his skin - DP has bad eczema so i wouls hate for DS to have some sort of reaction from it.

nai- i have 2 containers in the freezer with about 130mls in each.
shell- thanks, im going to try and express as much as i can and if it comes to it i will try her on formula on friday and see if she takes it and if not then i guess i wont be drinking!!
