    Hi ladies

Happy half birthday to my darling, Lewis and Millie! Cannot believe how fast it has gone.

I'm going to try and catch up...

Ali - big hugs, we are trying to cut out night feeds as well... last night I lasted til 5am, thought that was pretty good... she woke every 2hrs or so but managed to resettle, so stick with it, you will get there. I was starting to resent night feeds and now that DD is 6 months, she really shouldn't need to feed overnight. So here's hoping, for both of us. If you need to vent, feel free to PM me or catch me on facebook (I'm on facebook a bit more frequently).

Kaz, big hugs to you too - I don't count DD's feeds, just feed her when she wants it. I find it easier to go with what she wants than stressing about it. Det will laugh if she reads that, she has been telling me that for ages!

Shell - I was the same about BLS, I had to ask Det about it at MG. Sounds a bit interesting but I think we're going to mainly stick with our mash for now! We have given DD some finger foods, things that we are eating at the time, she seems to like them!

Not sure about the Gold Coast too... I think I might say no as DH and I are going to start trying for another bub soon so I may be up the duff by then!

Can't remember what else was posted on the other thread...

Isabel was weighed yesterday and she is back on the 90th percentile for height and weight - 8.2kg and 70cm. Big bubba! Everyone comments on it!

We started swimming lessons today too - she loved it! Mostly anyway.

Better go help DH with the dishes. Hugs to all!

Happy half birthday Isabel, Millie & Lewis!!

OP - Good to see Isabel loved her swimming! She sounds like a good size bubba. Miss J is getting her check on Thursday but I can't see her being over 7kg yet and I think she's about 65cm so quite a bit shorter but we will see in a couple of days.

Pinny - Lewis is also a good size! DD1 was less than 8kg (7.8 I think) at 12m

Shell - funny at Em cracking it at Ash taking her toys. I want to come to the GC meet but I'm not sure as a friend wants to do a holiday to Fiji and I need to check when she wants to do that as it could clash (plus I don't think I can afford to do both )

    Hey girls!
hugs to those having a rough time of it lately- it will past ans things will start to improve soon so hang in there!!
Mr Boof is doing awesome- only sleeping once or twice during the day for around 40 mins but now he is settling heaps better at nite- only having to resettle around 6 times betwen 7ish and 12am and then he is usually sleping solid from 12am tillaround 6ish-7ish- cant complain about that!
On the other end- my DH is STILL sick- turns out he has glandular fever so is asleep ALL the time. Its really bad- he is zzz now as i type and its 8ish!
He has hardly been able to work for over 2 weeks now- the back pocket is gonna notice that real soon- but ther is nothing we can do except ride it out- its like having 4 kids!!

Other than that i am trying to keep my head above water- things are turning ugly with my mum and dad so that isnt nice, twins are alot more settled at the moment - besides bring nits home last week with them- and Mr Boofs' now eating 3 meals a day- 2 bowls of food at each sitting- i am also doing so BLS as well- he has his mash and then nibbles on what we are having as well if suitable with us at the dinner table as well. Slowly want the BLS to be the main souce of food, but his big appetite and no teeth means that i am more comfortable feeding mash at the moment as well!! He has toast for breaky now as well- too cute- he gums i t and cruskets are a hit as well!

Time to go- he is going off again!!
    mwah to you yummy mummy's!

Girls I should come in here and whinge about Jacob more often! He slept well last night (only one feed between 9pm and 8am ) and today he's had three 2 hour sleeps and another 40 min sleep He seems to be down for the night now too. I remember a day like this months ago. I wondered how quickly he would do it again. I'm sure it's just recovering from the past week.

    Shell
    - I'd love to come to the meet up. Count me as a definite maybe LOL. Is there still accomm going with you guys or should I look into organising my own nearby?
OP - Great to hear from you. I've been thinking of you lately and wondering how you and Isabel are going. The comments on her size must annoy you! From memory both you and DH are tall and she prolly will be too. The number one comment I get from absolutely everyone is how alert Jacob is. Aren't all babies interested in their environment?
Meg - Is L n' E expensive? Do you still cook for your DH or is he on it too?
Det - to you hun. That doesn't sound good about your parents. Can't be easy to be in the middle. Hope your DH gets better soon! Boof sounds like he's doing well.

Kaz - that's fantastic about J today and tonight! Here's hoping he sleeps well tonight! I too get lots of comments about how alert DD is... but I also get told she is cute a lot too Course I think she's gorgeous!

Det and I thought of you today - we had MG at a cafe/bookstore place and we walked out past a stand of Mr Men books

Det you'll have to tell me tomorrow over Koko what's going on with your folks, think I missed it!

Well Isabel crashed at about 6.45pm... fell asleep on the boob, then woke as I put her into the cot, cried and then had a spew on my shoulder, then settled down and has been silent ever since. I think the swimming has tuckered her out! Going to try a rollover feed soon then we'll see how long she sleeps.

This time six months ago I was trying to sleep...
