Sterla- Hello Wow good on you I just saw your sig, 10 kg lost is AWESOME!!! How much more are you aiming for? Its great your getting out and about and doing it the healthy way. Hey Peach, yeah 10kg so far... a lot to go... I'd like to lose at least another 20kg before ttc#2. Still going to the gym - just got back from there actually. It's so good - we always finish with swimming laps in the pool and it's so refreshing (and hard work). Lol, I know what you mean about just wanting to enjoy your bubba and getting some sleep! Oliver is sleeping so much better than he used to - usually only up once a night now. How is Winter's sleep? Oliver barely sleeps through the day though - his one sleep is getting shorter and shorter - was only 45 minutes today . No plans on ttc soon - more like at the end of the year. I'd like Oliver to be around 2.5 - 3 years. It would also be good if he was able to get to sleep without me before the next bub comes along. So there's all these things to consider too.

    How ya goin' Dansta?

Hope everyone else is well. I better go to bed.

peach: LOL i'm having that issue, i'm freezing it but DH seems to eat it LOL. but hopefully very soon i'll start making more soup and that for freezing. plus i'm going to stock up on snags and stuff (DH can cook them ) but i enjoy cooking, even when DJ is trying to pull himself to standing on the backs of my legs - all whilest avoiding burning the bump it'd make a good youtube clip :P how is the jigglett going?

sterla: 10kg?!?! well done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thats a really good effort. you're alot better at loseing waight then i am. the only time i've lost waight in the last 3 years was after having DJ and expressing fulltime while trying to B/f him...then it went back up again started comming down and bundy snuck in! and thats a good idea of getting some "sleep" between babies. i've been lucky with DJ and his sleep he goes down about 10pm and it up at 6am or like last nigt down at 9pm and up at 4:30am but goes down again around 5:30-6am for an hour or so. and DH being home means i can sleep for an extra two hours. but with the next baby i've told DH i'll still get up and dive DJ his brekkie (if its early like 4:30) then put him down and when he's "up for the day" he can deal with him - until he goes back to work full time or takes on two part time jobs KWIM?

AFM: been a little busy here. re-arrangeing rooms. cleaning rooms up/out doing washing like we're not in the middle of a drought. but its all good. also DJ is standing more and more - with the help of walls/safety gate and kinda walking with support from DH or I. he's also 'talking' a bit more as well which is good. but no real "words" bar mum mum mum and glug glug glug. but he's getting there. my dad had a knee replacement yesterday so we'll be taking DJ into see him tomorrow. which should be interesting! hope every one is having a good night!

PJ: That's all no good about Summer's hearing. I hope it's at least not too severe.

Dansta: Why am I still continually shocked whenever I look at your ticker?! I can't believe it's so soon! Sounds like you're pretty busy in nesting mode!

AFM: Had a self-imposed BB ban for a couple of days, as an experiment to see how I'd cope, lol. Coped okay - but I still missed it!
Oliver hasn't been sleeping very well recently. Had a shocking night a few nights ago where he went down at 7pm, woke at 11pm when I went to bed and didn't go back till 3am! I got about 3 hours sleep that night . This morning he was up gfor the day at 3.45am! Not fun, but at least he had a decent day sleep for once!
    Otherwise all good though

    Hope you're all well.

Sterla- You need to speak to Oli and tell him the day dos'nt start till at least 6 am!!! You must feel like a zombie! Im so glad the gym is going well for you, Im sure you must be loving having some time to yourself too. WInters sleep is pretty good, she sleeps through most nights which is nice... actually it rocks. Last night though DP was up from half eleven till half 12 with her but I think that was because she went down for the night at 5.30. She has phasing out the second nap and struggles some days with it. She had one half hour nap today so has been in bed since 6.

    Hi everyone sorry gotta run

Peach: It sucks huh!?! I got AF back when Oliver was 11 months, but it took a couple of months to actually get regular again, and even now it's only ever fairly light. Hooray for breastfeeding, lol! I'm the same with the pimples though - every month I break out about a week before AF comes, it sucks .

Dansta: Surely you're not almost 36 weeks? That doesn't seem right! How are you travelling?

PJ: How are you and Summer? Any news on the hearing test stuff?

AFM: We are good. Oliver has been nice enough to sleep in the last 2 mornings. 6.30am and 6.15am However, they were paired with him being a pain in the middle of the night and me being up with him for about an hour. *sigh* Oh well.
I'm planning on taking Oliver to a Playschool concert in July. I think they're travelling around the country at the moment, so I bet they'd be coming to you girls at some point .
Gym is still going well - went twice yesterday! And this morning in the shower I noticed that my arms actually felt slightly muscular (instead of just flabby, lol) - so all my hard work must be paying off.

Oh, and I am being tragic and reading the Twilight series for the second time. (then I'll move onto True Blood Peach ).

    Hope you're all well.

Peach: I'm not taking Oliver to the creche at the gym anymore, cause he wasn't handling it very well. The last time I tried he cried the whole time I was away (over an hour! ). DH can watch Oliver one or two mornings a week at his work while I do a class though, so that's what I do now. And then of an evening I just go after Oliver has gone down for the night.

And no, I can't and I WON'T put Twilight down I'm too in love with Edward, lol

    Hey everyone!!

We are still alive..JUST! Sammy been sick for the last week and gave it to the whole family. more updates to follow
Dansta: HOLY CRAP! can't believe Bundy is due so soon, thats just insane...how quickly has this gone. You must be getting so excited. You could really go anytime from now..hope the #2 labour/delivery goes the way you want it this time around. Enjoy your few last weeks with the 3 of you.

Sterla: WOW, 12.4kg, well done honey, are you doing a "diet" per say as well or just exercise and watching what you are eating. I am trying to lose an extra 10kg before we go to Canada in October. As for Oli and his sleep, have you thought about ringing Tresillian and asking for advice? and great on your DH for watching Oli while you get some mummy time, we all need it.

PJ: sorry to hear about Summer's hearing problems, hopefully it all works out, they do wonderful things now with hearing aids, etc if she does end up needing one. and WELL DONE ON WALKING lil miss Summer!!!

Peach: Lil Piglet is still causing some trouble eh? So good for you that you get a baby free Friday...my Dh is pretty good at giving me "time off" but in a few months once we can afford it, I'd like to put Sammy in day care for one day a week, just so I get a day for ME and I know Sam would love it anyway, she loves playgroup and interacting with other kids. I can;t believe you only just got AF back..feels like forever for me, its never nice is it? Although this week, I had a lil scare and was VERY happy to see AF! I don't want to be pg untl we get back from Canada so I can enjoy all the food & drinks I want with my friends I haven't seen in 8 years

As for us, life is going at a million miles a minute, seems like every week is flying by and I seem to not have anytime to myself or ourselves to get anything done. Sammy is FULL ON, but a gorgeous lil monkey still. She is saying a few words now and definately showing lots of personality, climbing everywhere and letting us know when she is not happ about something! As mentioned above, we have been sick this last week and this has affected Sam ( and ours) sleep greatly. I know I shouldn't complain because most of you get less than I do normally but when you've not had to deal with it, it's still not easy. Thinking this sickness has made Sammy realise that if she wakes up at 230am or whatever time, mummy will come and giver her cuddles til she falls asleep. or she wants to fall asleep in my arms in the lounge watching tele. we let her do it while she was sick but its almost as if she forgot how to self settle and could be a bit of separation anxiety which I have not yet seen in Sammy. She is also VERY MUCH a mummy's girl at the mo, poor DH is feeling a bit letft out and hurt I think. They normally have such a nice and clos relationship and lately, all Sam wants is me...which is nice but then its nice to get a break too. Anywho, we manage don't we? Gotta run but will try to make an effort to come chat more often, seems like I barely have time to come onto the 'puter these days.

    Chat soon xx

Wow, great to hear from you Moose!!! How exciting for you guys to be going to Canada. I bet your friends cant wait. Where abouts are you visiting? Which airline are you going with? How long for?

Oh that must be hard for your DH with Sammy being so clingy to you, Im sure it will ease up soon though. And no good to hear you have been sick, I bet its getting cold down your way now which dosnt help. It feels like we are constantly sick or runny lately, just when we get over it some idiot brings their sick baby to a playgroup and we catch it all over agan

Dantsa- You were in my dream last night! You and Daz were at the local markets cruising around, he was a fat little blondie in my dream

    Sterla, how are you lovely?

PJ, How are you and Summer?

    Hope everyone is well

moose: your ALIVE! haha. glad to hear sammy is going well. ooo heading home ay? (will it be winter then??) sounds like fun. and LOL at not getting UTD before then - perhaps another 'stoeaway' is in order? and LOL at me going any time soon. i honestly think this bub will be another stubborn one - just like DJ was. but i dont mind that. seeing as DH and I are up in the air about stopping at two or having a bigger gap and having #3. dj has also become clingy - to DH! which is a good thing really.

peach: haha about DJ being chunky! he's anything but. he's a long lean! dispite the amount of food he eats! mind you i would LOVE to go to a market - but we dont have any good ones.

sterla: geeze girly your going gang busters with the waight loss!!

    Hey girls!

Moose: So wonderful to hear from you! Glad to hear you're going well, Sammy sounds like she's keeping you busy! It's a busy, busy age isn't it! Oliver is the same - he's always getting into something. I get tired just watching him, lol. I can totally relate about Sammy being clingy to you. Oliver is quite clingy to me, which can be nice at times cause they show you how much they love you, but at the same time makes life hard. I had visitors today, and Oliver would cry whenever I left the room, even though it's his own house!
That's so, so exciting about Canada, I bet you can't wait! I hope Sammy handles the big trip okay.
With my weight loss, I've just changed my lifestyle - I try to exercise every day, and I have stopped eating junk food (for the most part). It was hard at first, but now it's easy. I still have heaps of weight I'd like to lose before ttc#2 though.

Dansta: Wow, look at you - almost full term (37 weeks). That's amazing! That's good that you're prepared if you go over again... going over sucks! But at least if you're ready for it you might feel better about it. Hope you're feeling well

Peach: What have you been up to? How is Winter?

AFM: Well, my last week has sucked . Last Saturday morning Oliver had a fever come on really suddenly. He spent all of Saturday either crying or sleeping lying on top of me or DH with a fever of around 38.5. The panadol was only doing so much. Sunday was much the same, mildly better, but still a fever. He wouldn't sleep anywhere but lying on me or DH, and ended up sleeping in bed with us. Monday morning first thing I booked an appointment as he still had a fever. Went in at midday. The doctor looked in Oliver's left ear, then his right - and said he had a mild middle ear infection. Got a script for antibiotics. Oliver was still pretty miserable. Panadol wasn't doing anything, so DH went out and got some infant's Dimetapp... and OMG that stuff is magic. We gave it to Oliver Monday night, and within 10 minutes he was basically his usual self! The antibiotics are a nightmare to give Oliver - he hates it, and screams whenever we give them to him, and we have to hold and restrain him while we do it It's taking a long time for Oliver to bounce back. Even today, almost a week since it started he isn't quite himself. He's just whingey and extra clingy, but at least he's back on his food - he went about 4 days of eating almost nothing. Thank goodness I'm still b/f. In amongst all this I think he's been teething as well (eye teeth).
Oliver is almost right again though. He's eating, sleeping in his cot again (and sleeping fairly well), and we're slowly getting more smiles out of him.

I probably have more to write, but I'm exhausted, so will be back another time. Nice to hear from you all .

peach: yeah, a little. i'm just rolling on though the days atm!

sterla: i know bubs with ear infections can be a little worse for ware. i know i used to get them as a kid (i can rember one bad one that kept me up almost all night even after a trip to a 24he Gp!) lots of mummy cuddles help - i think my mum also used to make sure our beenies always covered our ears in winter too...mind you if Oli is anything like DJ and hat wearing - its pulled off faster then its put on!

AFM: DJ is going well, walking around his cot and trying to walk around the coutch, but its a little hard as we have veeeeeery little floor space around the coutch (thanks to my mothers stupid uber coutch) but we're getting there. i'm not at all worried, hes getting there and the frustration i can see when he cant move where he wants to makes me think he's slowly "getting it". as for bundy baby...well..we're getting there too. i'm quite happy to be toddleing along - its easier with DH home mostly now too. he's helping me with DJ and seems to understand i have days where sitting is the only thing i can do with out any discomfort. like right now i have a foot under my right rib and a bum wiggleing just under my sterum. but i'll stand and it'll "drop" so i have pressure in my pelvis. ahh the joys. my strech marks have grown also - i almost have them joining the ones on my hips - a very sexy look ya know! no doubt when the boobies start making milk i'll have a matching set bwahaha! next week a good friend of mine is comming down from Syd with her little man and her DP - so it'll be interesting to see how DJ reacts to a little baby! plus it'll be good to see her. as i told her she better have a good reson (back in march) not to be comming to my 21st (her EDD was the day before) and her little man came the day after! so its a good enough reson. on the sleep frount DJ hasnt been too bad *touch wood* dispite a molar comming though (one point thus far) plus BOTH his eye teeth look like they're comming though or...at least the teeth near them. last saterday was a bad night...but other then that he's been good. he's growing really quick and both DH and I have commented he looks like a real little boy now - even if he's still crawling. it'll be interesting to see how the next few weeks go. but i'll be happier - we've having half (dont ask LOL) our fence done tomorrow...the other half next door will be paying for when they can...i'll be happy having a safe(er) back yard for DJ to crawl around in!
speaking of him...i better go...looks like a no-day sleep day today!

alright whoes LO talked DJ's teeth into popping up
he's been off the last 48hrs and i thought we where heading towards our first 'bad' cold, with the unsettled ness (plus i've got a bit of a cold and my sleeping has been stuffed up)
but noo...i look in DJ's gob and what do i see? a molar with one and a half points though PLUS the two top teeth next to the ones already there (i call them the rabbit teeth - cus they're the only ones he has there ) so that explains ALOT. poor mite. but the teething necklace has helped heaps.
