*yawn*
Hello everyone!

Whew how exhausting is this job!?
Quinn decided last night was going to be awake night, DP and I took it turns trying to settle him from about quarter to 4 - I finally got him to sleep with me on the couch at 6 am and then he slept till 10! Of course I had to get up to express at about 8:30 so there would be food for him when he woke up!

Went to MCHN yesterday and first mothers group! Quinn has put on another 630gms! He now weighs 4950 - so he has put on about the same amount as Tennis (I still love that Liam calls him that! - it's so cute!)

Mothers group was good too - there are 7 of us in the group and the others all seem very nice....and tired too

Ryn: I am expressing almost exclusively because of the nipple issues. I am going to a breastfeeding clinic on 9th March so hopefully they can help me a bit. I have a go on one boob every day - but one is very damaged and just too painful to directly feed from.

Lesley: I think that's how it feels when the breast is full - like a needle in your nipple? I get that when that breast is full - although I have had some problems with blocked ducts and almost mastitis so in my case it could be left over pains from that! Good on you for having such a big baby! Aren't the big ones beautiful? Then again the little ones are beautiful too!! They're all beautiful! THe little ones are easier on your back!

Kel - it is hard to tell when they;ve had enough - I went from feeding Quinn from both breasts to only one and he seemed to sleep longer then because he got all the fatty sleepy milk at the end, they say that the start of breastmilk is like a drink and then second half is like the meal...and what fills them up.

Time to go express again - I'm leaking everywhere!

Hope all is well!
