esme - hope jasper gets his teeth quick, and others follow very soon. it's heartbreaking to see them hurt so much.
poopy got another one yesterday. it's all in a funny order.
so he's got the upper left laternal incisor, and now upper right central incisor!
and the bottom ones are going to burst really soon!
he's heaps better now w ABs, at least he's laughing and smiling and not as clingy.
gotta run... back to work. bbl xoxoxo

Hi gals,
Hope everyone had nice weekends. Dh made a safe return and it is sooo nice to have him home again, I played 2nd fiddle with Zane which after 2 weeks of him solo was BLISS!!! We headed down to the goldcoast, went to a bike show and did some shopping, was just a really nice relaxing weekend.
Ash, CONGRATS you have a toddler, well done hun!! Hope if your having a party everything goes well!!
Prama, so glad to hear that poopeys responding to the AB's bet you are much happier too, I know that when Z is under the weather I'm not myself either. Is your Mum still here? How is our fave Austar employee going at work today??
Esme, Hope the needles go OK, Might not be so bad if Jasper doesn't have a morning sleep, these might tire him out and he might go down this afternoon for a while, thats what Z did. I've never heard of that book? What's it about?
Bun, Good luck with the work situation, I'd try and find care first, you can always try and change your days or tell a future employer what days you can work, but you can't go to work without care. As for games, I'd second the bubble blowing, Z has building blocks that he loves, I build towers and he bops them down, while he was crawling I filled up an empty water bottle with water and glitter (much to DH's disgust...He's a boy...so??) and he'd roll that around and watch it all mix around, obviously just make sure the lids tight. He has lots of toys that I rotate around so he gets to use them all, he's quite good at just amusing himself playing. Thursday's I have a set playdate with my NDN which is a godsent (our littlies are the same age) and we have lunch/coffee and when all else fails and I feel like crying I pull out the bigs guns....The RAGGS DVD. Sad I know and I know it's probably not the best thing to do but it works so I'm sticking with it!!
Sue, You amaze me, you really do, how do you manage 3 kids? I struggle with Z sometimes, and yet you always sound so relaxed and organised. I have my pedometer on and I'm set to step!!!! I'll let you all know each morning how many steps I've done for the previous day and If I don't get to at least 5000 for the first week please feel free the cyber slap me!!! I've been on my wii fit each day since I got it, my god the muscle building exercises are quite hard.
For those of you who are having more bubs have you thought about when that might be? Had a few people ask me lately when we will have another one? Kind of like well Z is 1 now so get a move on! Odd!
BIG Hello's to Karlie,Jen & Kato hope you lovlies are feeling better and all is OK!!! We miss you guys!!!
Anyhow, I'm off to watch the morning show and try and get some red carpet glimpes, Oh I love hollywood, I wish I was famous with enough money to buy all those dresses and bling and yeah yeah get over it Sonya your a SAHM in suburbia!! LOL!!
Have a great day All xoxo
-
bun - yeah, maybe check out if there's a playgroup or a mother's group via the childhood clinic. you could also try Vic members section here on BB. doyou have a car.. i used to go out and about and that sort of made teh day go quicker.
libraries also have story telling and activities so that would help
yeah.. i agree w sonya. it's better to get child care and ask for days that are available and book them, you could then negotiate w your employer.
sonya - yaay that dh is back.. it's so hard when they g away.. steve travels a bit on and off. and it's exhausting looking after bub by yourself and not to mention lonely too.
poopy has his needles tomorrow, i'll have to leave early to get home and go to the clinic..
hehe// have got teh red carpet stuff on at the mo. but not really watching.. ah they got brad and angelina now.. hmm a bit over them actually.
cant wait for lunch.. need to get out of the office.

Thanks everyone, wow toddlerdom!!
I have had a terrible week, starting to feel like i will never be able to come off my meds. Sometimes I am fine but low patches are just so debilitating.
Car broke down, $1800 later... I didn't get paid, Anthony's mum had a stroke, my mums seeing a neurologist about why she is having strokes. Its just, blah.
I am so sorry, I have all of your cards ready and waiting to be posted. They just need stamps. I am so hopeless. I had them bought before i even suggested doing it and here they are still sitting on my kitchen table.
I will have them in the post on thursday.
I think i might retire from this thread as i am not good at keeping up and my personals are lacking. I post fairly frequently around the rest of the forum so ill still be around aand checking up all your little oness growths. I am also on facebook a fair bit too.
I just want to be better. I wish I could be better. I am sick of feeling unlike myself. I am sick of the personality traits disappeared that used to be mine. ?I am really struggling with coping of me in concept of mother instead of concept of ashlea. sorry i am rambling.
my msn address is in my profile if anyone would liek to add me. Although i am better contactable by email if anyone wants to be 'e-pals' it's; ashnant at beagle dot com dot au
GTG monkey is having a terrible day. Up all night with molars, my eyes are falling out of my head.

Hi All,
Well my steps for yesterday were 5307, so I'll aim to improve on that today, hopefully by the end of the week I'll be right to do the 10000 a day.
DH came home yesterday and dropped that he is away for the week again it's such Bullpoo. Another week alone. Ok I've had me little RAGGHHHH!! I've the built the bridge and now I'm over it. I'm trying really hard this year not to be the psycho I was last year when it comes to his away time. Poor DH was like a verbal punching bag when it came to my frustration and it caused to many fights sooo I'm very determined to just try and roll with it. So far so good, so if my posts are selfish around these times I'm apologising in Advance.
My Mum is heading off to Egypt for 2 weeks on Thursday, I'm a bit nervous for her there was a bombing in Ciaro on Sunday..scary.
Not much else is happening in my humble abode.
Prama I hope Poopeys needles go OK today...At least they are over now.
Ash I'm sorry to hear that you will be retiring, we still have FB though so I'll make sure I check in whenever I'm there.
Bun have you thought about home day care? I know it's not everyones cup of tea but it might not have the same waiting lists as the centres, kids the same age smaller groups etc sorry I was thinking about it the other day and forgot to post.
Esme how did the needles go? Hope the little man was brave.
Hi to everyone else, hope you all have a great day xox
-
oh sonya.. whinge away if you need to..i can totally understand you being upset!! it's not easy looking after a baby, well toddler, all by yourself. and it gets lonely for you too.
poopy's needles are at 6.30 so hope it doesnt bother him too much.
esme - how's jasper going.. hope no fever or anything
xoxox
-
Hi everyone,
Prama -- good luck for poopy's needles!
Ash - sorry to hear you will be retiring from this thread. I don't know what to say other than we are always here for you and I will keep up with you on facebook.
Sonya -- OK have to find my pedometer!! Feel pretty lousy atm not sure if i am coming down with a cold or something. OK definately not relaxed and organised today  feel like I am a Sargeant Major barking orders at the boys to get ready for kinder or school. The boys are driving me nutty -- DS2 is really testing the boundaries especially with DS1 at school, he is saying no a lot puts the hands on his hips, stamps his feet and then screams. Lovely behaviour. He also ran onto the road the other day when a car was coming while I was getting sophie out of the car, luckily I was still inreach of his arm and could pull him back. eeeek. He also loves running off when we are picking Benjamin up at school -- when i find him he says I'm just playing Mummy don't be cross. GGGGRRRRRR
Sophie is having 2 sleeps during the day atm, ever since she had her needles. She only lasts until about 11am and then has an hour and a half or thereabouts, and then another hour and a half in the afternoon around 4ish. Nice for getting tea ready but then she doesn't want to go to bed until 9 pm thanks very much.
Enjoy not having to do Kinder or School runs for a while girls its very hectic when it all starts.
Hi to everyone
Sue

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALEXANDER!!
Ash - i hope you and your gorgeous boy had a lovely day. I am sorry you are retiring from this thread. I will definitely keep up with you on FB. You have had such a terrible time lately sweetie, I am thinking of you
Thanks guys for all the suggestions re what to do to entertain DD. I will definitely try the bubbles - that is one thing I haven't done yet. And we bought her a swing for her birthday but haven't put it up yet. I will have to make sure we get around to that soon! We are visiting family in Perth at the moment so she is being entertained by all the family who can't get enough of her right now!
esme - the local library does story time but I thought DD was too young for it yet. I may give it a go though. And I have enrolled her in mother goose for next term which is a similar thing so hopefully she will enjoy that. We also have days where we jsut walk around because she likes it and I figure the exercise is good for me! How did Jasper's needles go?
prama - I hope Poopy's needles were ok today. I have joined a playgroup but I am not really sure if it is the right one for us IYKWIM? I may look into a different one when we get home.
sonya - I can also understand you being angry about DH going away again. It is bloody hard work looking after a baby on your own, I hate it when DH is away. Whinge away I say! I have also enrolled DD on the waiting list for fam day care so will see what pops up.
Must go guys, Dh is here. Will be back tomorrow,
Bun xx
-
thanks so much girls..
poopy's asleep now. we go to the ryde council immunisation clinic. we love cos the nurses are so brilliant. they always give bubs needles just at one go. this time he had 3 nurses, giving him needles 1 in each arm and 1 on the thigh. 3 needles in one go. he cried when the needles went in, then was happy as larry.
bun - im sure you'll settle in and find things for catherine to do.. it's hard when you are in a new place.
sue - you do an amazing job w 3 kids!! dunno if i'll ever be able to manage 3 young kids, i find it so hard w poopy alone..
im not feeling the best tonight. i guess im so overwhelmed w working full time and rushing home to poopy. im lucky steve gets home earlier and picks him up and starts dinner.. i just feel it's go, go, go all day long..
im going to bed soon.. will talk tomorrow. love you all.xoxox

Hi all!
Jasper's needles went really well; there was only one nurse but she did them really quick. Jasper was really brave and only cried when the needles went in and was quiet and smiling soon after; so I am very proud of my brave little man! He didn't get any side effects apart from a little temp when he went to bed. He slept well; the best he has slept for a while (lol, can I take him again tomorrow? ;)) He still wakes at least once a night, sometimes screaming. I don't know if it is teeth or bad dreams, but he doesn't totally wake up and settles within 10 minutes. I hope he gets through this soon.
Sonya - I hear you on DH being away; DP has been away again for the last couple of nights; it is like doing 12 hour shifts with a bit of night work thrown in! We are here for you! Vent away!
Ash - sorry to hear you want to retire from this thread! But know we are always here for you!
Prama - Good to hear you had such a brave little boy! Makes it a bit easier on mummy, doesn't it? I don't know how you juggle a fulltime job and a little bub, I am tired enough with just looking after bub!
Sue - Like Prama said, I don't know how you manage with three kids and a pt job!!! Hope it is just a phase with DS2 and he will grow out of it sooner rather than later... Lol, all the stuff we got to look forward too!
That's it for me girls, BB time is up... Spent half that time cleaning the house and pulling up weeds, I don't know what happened to me :p, not usually someone to spent BB time cleaning up!!
Have a good day everyone!!
-
yaaaay Jasper!!! you're a brave brave boy!!!! (I SO love that picture of you!!!!)
We gave Poopy some nerofen and he slept right thru till 5am.. first time in ages!! lol, these boys are the same!!
of cos stupid me didnt sleep well, cos i kept thinking he's going to wake up in the middle of the night!
back to work,... ho humm.. missing Lakshman even more today.. dunno.. just not feeling myself..
-
prama - I am so sorry to hear you are finding things hard atm. I think you are wonderwoman managing work and a bub at the same time, I know I wouldn't be able to do it at all. I'm glad to hear that Steve helps out a lot, you would need that with work or I don't know how you would fit everything into one day! And yay to Poopy for being such a brave boy!
esme - yay on Jasper being a brave boy too! And yay on the sleep! Catherine has been great lately, she sleeps for 11 hours most nights, it's such a big change from when she was younger and didn't sleep at all! She also has 2 sleeps during the day most of the time.
I have a Q for those of you still BFing- have you had AF back yet? I still haven't and am starting to think it is strange as it has been so long now! DD still has 2-3 feeds a day so maybe that is too much for AF to return? I don't know but it seems unusual. And I know of soooo many people with a bub around Catherine's age who are now preggers with the next one. Not that I want to be yet, but it just bothers me that even if I wanted to be, it wouldn't even be possible!! Speaking of bubs, I think someone asked recently when we all thinking of having the next bub (if at all!). I am thinking of maybe starting to try in August but not really sure yet? Of course it will only work if AF has returned by then though, so who knows!!
-
hey Girls, congrats on the needles, no more for 6 months!!
Bun, I got AF back when Z was 11 months, had some spotting when he was 10 months, I'm on the mini pill( have been since my 6 week check up) and now YAY for me have been getting AF every 2 weeks lasting for a week!! I went to the Doc and she said both situations are normal, I was quite scared too! Not having AF while breastfeeding doesn't mean your not ovulating just no bleeding and that is obviously due to hormones and my situation it can take a couple of months to sort out once it returns especially on the minipill. But Sweet if you are concerned go and see your GP to put your mind at rest.
Prama honey, I feel for you I really do, I struggle at the best of times let alone without full time work in the equation (sp) I really hope that things start to look p for you soon my dear...big hugs.
I have two black eyes at the moment Z headbutted me....Feeling like heated up Sh*t!!
My jug blew up...NO morning coffee this morning till midday anyway and Z has been like a toddler possessed. He has been so whingy and whiny the last 2 days, yesterday he climbed on the lounge after repeated NO's and being moved away it looked like he finally was going to give up and then I was at the fridge about 5 mitres from him and in the speed of light he had climbed up there, stood up and fell off!Thank god he was fine!! So now i now have a lounge in my office! Then later on he hit me in the face and I grabbed his hand and said NO and he started screaming, The tantrums are a joke, dinner time is like a circus he turns his head from side to side like those friggin clowns so I can't get any food in...AAAARRRRGGGHHHHH!!!! I'm going NUTS!!! I'm turing into a Mum that I don't want to be, I think we are kinda sick of one another pretty much 3 weeks of just the 2 of us, I need to get out and socialise otherwise I'll end up screaming at him and not you guys LOL!! My gosh I feel like such a bad Mum, i just need a break from him, so I'm thinking about daycare for 1 or 2 days a week too, DH's time away is only going to increase as the year goes on and I'm already struggling now..O Dear!!
Sorry for the selfish post and it being such a downer, I feel like I tell you girls more stuff about my life than my girlsfriends I actually see, So apologies, Have a good night All, Sweet dreams xox
-
Oh Prama and Sonya, so sorry to hear you girls are doing it tough atm!:hug:
Prama - How are you going today, hun? Hopefully a bit better? Maybe plan something nice just for yourself this weekend, something to look forward to... Maybe come over for a cuppa ;)?
Sonya - Go the daycare option; you need a break from time to time; this mother job is a very taxing one without any time off! How are your eyes? Jasper headbutted me on the nose yesterday (accidental) but luckily no bruising; the have hard heads, haven't day?
Bun - Yay on Catherine sleeping through! You had to wait so long for that! Jasper now wakes up two times a night; hope he will start to sleep through again soon. I got AF back at about 4 months (irregular 4-6 weeks) because he slept through the night from 2-4 months (I am not on the pill). It is starting to be more regular now. We are thinking of a 2.5 to 3 year age gap, so probably TTC next spring. All depends on Jasper's behaviour; I think he and Zane are very much alike! Jasper like to climb the couch too, but can't yet without stepping on something; so far so good. He also likes to grab my glass/mug when I am drinking. A couple of days ago he managed to grab my glass of water which ended up all over the couch, lucky it was only water and not hot coffee. He is also throwing more hissy fits... Ash, you were right; the juggling has started!
Hi to everyone else!!!
-
Sorry to be very quick here. Will be back later for personals if Amber allows me...
Bun- I still dont have AF back either. I have even been doing some HPT just in case. Its 22 months since I have had AF! Some women would kill for that.
Sonya- I know how you feel. I am so over tantrums and screaming. it just frays my nerves. You are doing great without DH home.
Ok my child is screaming about something. Back later
-
Hi All,
So today is better, Z and I are friends again... we didn't shake on it so I don't know how long It will last, but for the moment things are peaceful, I have converted the back half of my living room into a Zane only section, so there is nothing but his toys and bit's and pieces so everything he could even think about climbing on is now in the office, I was hoping it wouldn't get to this however it has so I delt with it and now I feel much better.
Jen I would kill for that!!! AF is coming every 3 week I have 2 weeks off and then a week of bleeding, and so on I have been charting it and hopefully once Z is weaned I'll just go back on my normal pill and hopefully it will be OK, thats why I'm trying to fast track the weaning, not going so well still 2 BF a day. Oh well, it's not the worst thing in the world. Has the HRT changed anything? Sucks being a woman sometimes.
How is Our fab Prama today?? I hope today has been easier for your sweet, It's like we are both struggling only on the opposite things, I would love time to myself and you would love more time with Poopey, Can't win can we?? Is there anyway that you could work parttime??
Argh Z is calling BBL. xox Good luck to everyone getting their days xoxox
-
thanks girls!! thanks for all your support. I think the pressure of getting back to work, all the rush rush is bringing my pnd back again.
bun i got af sometime in sept/oct. the last few mths it's been regular. i met a lady who had been bf-ing her 3 kids at hadnt had AF for 5yrs!
esme - has jasper tooth made a show yet? very elusive!!
sounds like the kidlets are doing the same.. poopy's starting hissy fits if i grab something from him. he's going to start climbing things soon too, cant climb the sofa cos it's too high for him.
jj - yup hissy fits here too!!! aarrggghh
sonya - lol am not fab!! i wanted more time to myself but this is the other extreme. i have about 30mins in the morning w him before i dropped him at DC and then abt an hr in the evening when i come back fr work and he goes to bed.. sigh.
sorry to hear abt your eyes.. what is it w this kids and eyes! i had my eye scratched and now yours headbutted!
we have partitioned our lounge room to his play area. at least i can leave him there and go do things around the house.
i;ve started yoga again so that's helping me relax too.
oh, im so annoyed today.. i went to the early childhood clinic and our fav nurse wasnt there and some other woman has taken over. met her once and didnt like her. now i think she's there full time on thursdays. she actually lost lakshman's file!! and then measured his head circumference less that the last 2 nurses before! and then kept saying THEY were wrong and scared me into thinking something's wrong with poopy. poopy was also having a bikkie when we got called in and he was restless. so i let him crawl on the floor and got crumbs on the carpet. and she made a remake like you made my carpet all dirty, i got it cleaned the other day. i picked up all teh crumbs and she didnt even say thank you or anything. im going to see the other nurse on monday (dont care if i have to take the day off) whom we know very well since we started going there and complain to her. the actual nurse on thurs was not been well so there have been other nurses filling in. the actual thurs and monday nurse we know really well.
aarrgghhh.
gotta go.. just remembered have to do some stuff!! so brainless sometimes!
-
No tooth yet, but I can see at least three of the top ones under the gum quite clearly, they weren't there before. He doesn't let me look or feel in his mouth, so I don't have a clue what the bottom ones are up to.
-
Prama, I think your Fabulous I think we all are!!!! Motherhood is the most challenging job and yet it is the least recognised, 3 cheers for us I say! And once I stop BF I'm even going to drink to that....Alot!!! LOL!!
That nurse sounds like an utter biatch!! If she's not immune to a few crumbs she is in the wrong job, god what did she expect? I hate dealing with people like that, makes the whole experience even worse. Hope you get the "good" nurse back soon Prama and also that they find Poopeys file.
I'm hearing you on elusive teeth, I officially hate teething as much as Z I think!!
Esme, Jasper sounds like Z in that they are little Kamakazie kids, Try standing up and holding him facing you and tipping him backwards, Z thinks it's hilarious and laughs really wide mouthed and it gives us a chance to see whats going on in his mouth?? Just a thought!
Anyhow lovlies Thats it from me today I think need to get baths and dinner sorted, nearly Z bedtime..Sonya Time fast approaching...YAY!!!! xox
-
Hi ladies,
A is in bed. HOORAY! This evening she thought it was hilarious to bite me during feeding time. Of course she got a reaction from me every time she did it, it HURT! So I put her to bed. She then screamed so I gave her one last chance for her feed. There is silence coming from her room so fingers crossed.
Esme- I wish poor Jasper's teeth would just cut at once. Then hopefully he can go back to sleeping well and letting you sleep well. Amb would let us see in her mouth either.
Sue- Your latest pics on FB are great. Your little ones look so happy to be going to school, kinder etc. I sure can wait to do the school run juggling.
Prama- If only we all had that money tree growing out the back. We all could then not have to worry about work, money etc and then get to see our little ones grow. Saying that, a couple days a week would be good for US time. I hope you get your good nurse back too. They shouldnt be there to make us feel bad. They only have to look at poopy to see he has a great set of parents raising him.
Sonya- Do you have a good story to tell about your shiners? Or do you get to say your 12 month old beat you up! I reckon when we give up b/f we will be shouts at the bar.... One pot screamers. Have you tried your Wii fit yet? We love ours. I am into the running at the moment.
Ok thats enough from me. I have been running on the spot for the Wii fit and are all sweaty. And I just hear the dulcet tones of my child telling me she doesnt want to be in bed.....
-
Hi guys,
Jen - glad to hear I am not the only one with no AF! I know that I should feel lucky, I just didn't think it would take this long! I should also do the odd HPT just to check but we are being sooo careful, so hopefully that isn't the reason for no AF! Catherine bit me the other night when I was feeding her too. She made me cry and jump which then frightened her and she started screaming. All I could think was that I should be the one screaming, I am the one who just got bitten on the boobie! Little terrors sometimes....
We have catherine's party on Monday and I am really looking forward to it! I am going toi make heaps of junk food (probably more for me than the kids!).
prama - how are you going sweetie?
sonya - don't apologise! We all understand what it's like being a mummy and we are here for you to vent to! DD has become a shocking tanty thrower already, she throws her head back and gets her whole body into it sometimes. And all it takes is for me to say no to get a full on tanty happening! How are the black eyes? DD seems to like bashing my nose, I swear she is going to break it one day!
Thanks everyone for sharing re AF. i suppose it will come back one day and then I will be whinging because I don't want it back!!
Gotta go, DH needs a lift. have a great weekend everyone :)

Hi girls,
Sorry not been around lately - life is going so fast with a new toddler and an experienced toddler!!!
Amelie turned 1 yr old yesterday and it feels like my baby has gone and been replaced with a toddler with attitude!!
But it is just gorgeous now the fun the 2 girls have together (generally).
Will look through the postings to see what you're all up to as it's been a while.
Hope you & your little ones are all well.

Hi all,
Selfish post here... Teething still causing trouble. Poor bubba developed a fever yesterday arvo which got up to 38.8 by bedtime. He woke up every 20 minutes and just layed there moaning. After some panadol and some teething gel he finally fell asleep on me only to wake up after one sleep cycle screaming and rubbing his gums :(. Lucky he fell asleep reasonably quick again and I transferred him to his cot where he slept the rest of the night. It looks like all four top teeth are coming through (thanks for the trick, Sonya!). Still can't see/feel the bottom ones.
Bun - Enjoy your party!!!
Roya - Belated happy birthday for Amelie! Nice that the girls play well together; a bit of 'me' time for you?
Jen - Ouch on Amber biting you; so not looking forward to that... They are really starting to test us/push boundaries, aren't they?
Sonya - Thanks for the tip! At least I could have a quick look in his mouth. I hear you on the 'lots of drinks' when finished breastfeeding. Can't wait to do the same. We might all have to catch up around that time and go for drinks together ;)!
Prama - It sounds like you got a little escape artist on your hands!
Hi to everyone else!
-
Hi Girls,
O I've missed you all! Glad to hear the trick worked Esme, they can be very clever our little men sometimes so I say whatever works do it!!4 pegs thats quite an achievement little Jasper, Will def have drinks with you once we are all BF free we should organise a weekend to all meet up and have girls weekend/night away!!
RoyaUK - Another Belated happy birthday for Amelie! Look forward to getting to know you a bit better.
DH home so i've had a little bit better weekend but Z is still a devil reincarnate ATM. I'm taking him to the Dr's tomorrow just for a check over, this last week he has been chucking the biggest Tantrums and 80% of the time he is just soooo whingey and Whiny, I'm at a complete loss as to what to do. Plus my paitence and tolerence levels have dropped dramatically. I'm ashamed to say this but I cannot even count the number of times I just had to put him in his cot and walk away for a couple of minutes last week. Z woke at 12 and didn't matter what DH or I did he wouldn't settle, finally at 1/4 to 3 he went to sleep and stayed that way. He's woken up this morning with a little bit of a runny nose so maybe that was it. Who knows??
So in the wee hours of this morning I was a blubbering mess, I think I just need a break from him, it feels like he's wearing me down. I know it's a bit of a tender subject but if anyone has had or has PND and wouldn't mind sharing with me....Does it sound like your expereience with PND or maybe just a reaction to DH's away time?? I'll talk to the Dr tomorrow and see what she thinks.
So sorry for the selfish post that's all I seem to be doing lately, you guys are going to get sick of me..Argh..so sorry!
Sue I have been a slacker with the wlking sorry, will try and get my butt in gear this week.
Hope you are all well and having a great start to the week.
-
sonay - quick one as my day today has become a major mess. will write more later.
yes i have pnd, and been struggling for a while.. am on meds, and i think it's gotten worse since going back to work and even more so w that awful nurse...
if you wanna chat, im on gmail..
-
Sonya - I feel like that sometimes . Do you get any time to yourself at all? I find it makes a huge difference if I get a couple of hours each week to spend on me. I usually go for a coffee and buy myself a magazine to read without any interruptions; this really energises me for the week ahead. If I don't have this 'me' time, I feel pretty close to being depressed too. I also have to make sure I get out of the house at least once a day too, even if it is just a walk around the backyard. Maybe you can look into putting Zane in daycare for half a day a week? Just to give you a break and some time to yourself. Don't feel bad about it; Zane will benefit from you feeling better! And, once again, don't worry about talking about all this; it is important and we will be here for you .
Prama - Same for you . Sending you lots of positive vibes! Hope your day gets better soon.

Thanks guys, I just feel like sometimes I'm fighting a loosing battle....with myself!! I've decided to enroll Z in swimming lessons and also have arranged with another Mum in my street to take the kids to the park on Thursday for a picnic lunch. I really need to sit DH down and tell him exactly what I think I need and go from there...I think? I'm not saying I'm happy about this but I now at least don't feel like an absolute failure mum if it's not just me. Prama ...sorry having a blonde moment what's Gmail?? You girls are the best!! Big THANKYOU hugs to you xox

Morning lovelies,
Z is sick....guess that explains why he has been so miserable. Off to the doctors today so hopefully she can prescibe some infant dimeatab, his little nose is like at tap, Have had the vaporiser going, panadol but no better today. poor little tike.
Sat down and had a big talk with DH last night and he agreed that I need to do something for myself without them even if it is like you said Esme just grabbing a coffee and a mag and chilling out for an hour then great, it would be more than I have now.:D
So how did everyone fair last night....Better I hope....

Hi all!
Better news on this front too, today; we had a full night sleep! He didn't even wake up once! So I feel so much better today. Teeth are still not through, how long does that usually take? I can see a couple of white dots...
Sonya - Poor Z! I hope he will feel better soon! Could he have an ear infection? Good on you for having that talk with DH; get some 'me' time soon; will make you feel a whole lot better!
How are you today Prama?

Sonya - how is Zane? Hopefully on the way to recovery? How are your eyes by the way; back to their normal colour?
Prama - Hope you get the chance to slow down a little soon!
We went to nephew's 4th birthday party and enjoyed ourselves. Jasper had a crawl on the trampoline with a little friend and loved it. I thought we might get a proper night sleep after all this stimulation, but it was really hot and muggy to start with only to cool down to quite cool around 2am, so had to get up twice to turn of fans and airconditioning. It is really nice and cool now, so might go for a walk this arvo. Still no teeth. Does any of you girls do baby sign language with bub? I got a book from the library and just tried a couple of signs. Jasper really likes it! The book is american, so I better double check whether they use the same signs as Australia.
That's it for us for now. Great to be able to see the posts again and catch up with you girls!
Have a good day!!
