Sorry Prama, there is a very good specialist here in Wagga, so hopefully I won't have to go to Sydney... But you can still come and visit ;)!
lol.. if as fb says, and we do go live in the country, sure will come visit!!
esme - how scary sweetie! I really feel for you. It sounds like it most likely is non-cancerous and hopefully after the op it will be all over. It is so different now that we have another person to look after isn't it? You no longer just worry about yourself but you being well enough to look after your darling boy. If I was closer I would do anything I could to help you out. I hope you can manage to have a relaxing weekend, although I know it must be hard to not think about it. And we are always here to 'listen' to you!
prama - how are you going? Happy birthday for the weekend! I hope you have a lovely time. So, any plans to move to the country now??
sue - I am getting more and more tempted to start reading the Twilight books. I just spent a week glued to another book so no housework was done so I really should get things in order again but I would rather read! I have started giving DD a small cup of milk each day, plus two BFs each day. She also has some cheese, milk on her cereal, and often a serve of yoghurt or custard each day. I hope I'm not giving her too much dairy? She loves it most of the time and is quite a fussy eater, so if she is happy to eat something, I just give it to her!
jen - uh oh, I hope you're not preggers! I am not quite ready for another one yet, but was lucky to have a pretty easy (ok that is really not the right word to use, but ykwim - nothing went wrong!) birth, although I did have a few grazes which took quite a while to heal. I was holding a newborn the other day and I must admit it made me a little bit clucky. I think I will wait a little longer before TTC #2 though. I Hope Amber is sleeping better now! I hate when they get sick and it mucks up their sleep, even after they're better. Catherine has done the same thing, she had a bad cold and started waking at night for a feed and now that she is nearly better she still wants the night feed! Grrr...
I have been looking for day care options for Catherine lately so that I can look at going back to work PT. A place has come up in both a day care centre and at a family day care. I have no idea which one to go for. I visited the day care yest and it looks good and am checking out the famy day care next week. I get such bad mother guilt leaving her somewhere but I think it will be good for her development to be around other kids more and to get some independence away from me. I just feel bad that I don't have a job so I will be putting her in care for nothing if I can't find work! But I can't even look for work until she is in care as there is no one here who can look after her for me to even attend an interview and apparently it can be hard to find a place in care here, so I should just take the spot and hope some work turns up. I just wish I didn't get such bad mother guilt - no one told me about this before I became a mum!
Bun -- I am soooooooooooo hooked on the Twilight books I am re reading the final book and will probably go back and re read them from the start. ( much to my husbands disgust !! no attention for him ) My brother also has a copy of the movie for me so guess what i will be doing this weekend he he. So sorry I think you must read them -- my house is still a disaster I just haven't got back into the groove yet. Let me know what you think and if you would like the movie
In regards to daycare/family daycare go with what you feel is the best. I am lucky to have two sets of Parents in town to help out, if I didn't have anyone I would definately put DS2 and DD in care for one day a week. I wouldn't be able to work apart from weekends without my backup so we are very lucky.
I got these really cute tights for Sophie, they have a print on them so one pair looks like a pair of mary janes and the other pair look like she has ballet slippers on So cute!
Have a good weekend girls I am working so won't have achance to post again till Monday. Esme relax as much as you can thinking of you.
Sue
bun, i guess day care and family day care is quite different. have you paid a visit to both of them?
i used this website to see if the DC we looked at was registered and what their history was National Childcare Accreditation Council - NCAC
sorry quick one.. going to go check on the little monster

Hi all!
Thanks for thinking of me! That really makes me feel better.
We had a great weekend. Jasper decided to sleep in until 7.30 both days, so he needed only one daysleep. So we had plenty of time to venture out and do things together. This kept my mind off all the not so nice things that are happening atm.
On Saturday we went to a carriage driving event and one of the drivers stopped his little pony so Jasper could pet it. Was sooo funny; Jasper just kept giving the pony big cuddles by leaning his head against its neck and head, sooo cute.... Next year he will be asking for a pony for Xmas I think!
Still no teeth here; six (4 top and 2 bottom) visible under the gum ready to come out, but so far nothing yet. He is walking a lot now, and is getting better and better. He can pick things up from the floor now and carry them around.
Wishing everyone a very good week!
es - thanks for the lovely card!! we only picked it up yesterday.. that was so thoughtful of you, im so touched!
well, i got my sickie.. am at home w a bad cough, voiceless and a headache. poopy's at dc.. im so glad i got to sleep in!! i woke up at 6 to give him a feed and help steve get him ready for dc. then went back to sleep at 7 and woke up at 9ish and stayed in bed till 10ish. cant remember when was the last time i did that..
im off to the shops to get some stuff. i was supposed to rest, yes, but did do some hse work and need to do a bit more.. but will take it easy.
will write more later. xoxoxox
No worries Prama, did you have a good birthday weekend? Sorry to hear you got another cold, but on the upsite; you got to sleep in and stay in bed, yayyy! Hope you feel better soon. And by the way, just forget the housework; opportunities to stay in bed don't come around that often anymore ;)...
Wow so much has happened in such a short period of time!!
Esme, I'm so sorry to hear your news, Like Sue said at least the first test was a benign result, My Mum had a lump removed years ago now, not a great time but she is fine now and hasn't had anymore since that one, I'll be thinking of you hun, Let us know if there is anything we can do? xox Not long now, once you can see the teeth, it shouldn't be too long...well fingers crossed.
Prama, my dear girl, you are not having a good run of late are you? Sorry to hear that your sick ATM. Enjoy the sleepy times, DH got up to Z on Sunday morning and I work up at 11.48am HUGE YAY for me, I didn't think I could sleep for that long anymore..Must have needed it, Mummies have big days too. LOL. Be kind to yourself, Lap up the "I'm sick treatment" Hun youe deserve it!! Hows poopy going teeth wise.
Sueby, I'm so proud of Miss Sophie's New clothing purchases, Sounds like you have a little fashionista on your hands...Instantly jealous!! LOL!! I would love a girl next. Haven't dabbled into twilight books, have been hooked on some soapies of late....I bought the One Tree Hill box set and have done nothing, God I have a TV addiction ....great!! LOL!! Oh well things could be worse.
Bun, How is the daycare hunting going? i have friends who use both systems and both swear by their chosen one so I guess that is good? We are going to start swimming next week, so that will give Z another "outting" for the week. He loves the water bath/surf/pool so hopefully he will enjoy it. I think if we didn't have some mothers guilt their would be something wrong, Hun nobody else knows what you need or has any right to judge you, You need to do what's right for you and your family, like you said the social interaction will be great, You have some "Adult time" whether you go back to PT work or not...Whats not to love? And Bollocks to anyone who makes you fel bad about it!
Jen, Wow on the possible Bub, Don't stress about it until you know for sure, The Mini pill might have still been in your system, Time of month, It hasn't been that long since you finished feeding etc...Do you want to be Preggers? Oooo I'm kinda excited though..Keep us posted...How is Miss A going ATM?? Cold gone? Z was sick a couple of weeks ago, awful hey!!
Karlie, Great to see you back, I missed you, Cup cake queen...ooo yummo! I'm on a 21 day detox ATM so I'm salvating like a puppy at the sound of them, No processed foods for me, The trays sounds like a really cute pressie? Did you go back? What's happening with Master J and Princess T? How is Zuey? Have been thinking of you guys?
Sorry have been MIA again I went back to NSW to see my mum, she got home from Egypt safe and sound, Photo's are amazing. Z is going great, walking like a champion, trys to run but bops down, He is saying Ta now and claps when he does something funny, I can't believe how much they change in such a short amount of time, it's amazing. I'm having a linen party in 2 weeks...I got sucked into it by a friend starting out, erg I hate those sorts of parties, LOL hopefully it will be a good excuse for a catch up? Not much really been happening, Z still on one feed I can;t seem to drop the nighttime/bedtime feed. I have 3 weeks to try and give it away, My Best friend is moving over from NZ and I think an alcoholic bevvie is on the cards...Ohh can't wait. Well I'm off to have a shower in peace, Yay!! Have a great day everyone.
Hugs to all xox
Hi all!
Sonya - Great to hear you had a lovely trip away. Good to get out of the house and catch up with your mum. Yay on Z walking and talking; they do change really quick don't they? We are still on 2 'feeds' a day; morning and night. After my bb has settled down from the biopsy will drop at least one feed and I think the other one soon after. I don't think Jasper is going to drop them by himself, so will have to encourage him a little.. Yay on your best friend moving over from NZ; is she going to live close to you?
Thanks for telling me your mum's experience; it makes me feel better to know that it is possible to have a benign lump removed and that all is good now. I have the second biopsy friday, so will probably get the results mid next week. I just want to get it out so I can stop worrying about it.
Prama - How are you? Hope you are feeling a little better soon!
Wishing everyone a good day!
thansk girls.. another quick one fr me unfortunately.. busy at work.
im better today, voice is still missing but throat not as painful.
yaay on z walking.. running soon, huh!
es - been meaning to ask for ages, how's jasper now w his solids?
xoxox
Prama - can't stop him eating now! He gets excited when he sees me getting the highchair ready and wolves everything down. He eats just about anything and everything. Wasn't too keen on meat, but yesterday he couldn't get enough of the roast chook, so that might be changing too. Sometimes I can't believe how much he loves his food now after struggling to get anything into him until about 9 months!
yaay Jasper!!!! boys and their food, huh!!
so glad to hear it!!
Esme - No worries at all, Mum is the only one in our family that has ever had any lumps before and as I said she is great, has had no more and there was no complications with her surgery, she does go every year for a check up though and self checks each month. I'm sure you will be fine. Friday probably looks like ages away I know, but hang in the hunni and try and remain positive. Big hugs.
Prama - Great to hear you throat is not hurting anymore makes a bad sitution bearable. Hope your work day flys by and your outta there soon. How's Poopey?
Zane is a machine with his food too, crazy hey how they put it away. I weighed him yesterday and he was 9.6kg, I swear he has hollow legs!! A typical day for him goes like this...
Breakfast - 3 weetbix with milk and hot water, Water to drink
Morning tea - Yogurht or Custard, Mueslie Finger
Lunch - 1 sometimes 2 sandwhichs...fillings vary & banana
Afternoon snack - Yogurht or Custard (whatever he didn't have at morning snack) Cheese pieces sometimes some biccies
Dinner - Whatever we are having, last night it was lasagne with salad
BF before bed
Yes he has started eating fruit....Yay!!!! Fruit toast was what started it...Yay for Fruit toast.
Obviously the foods differ somewhat from day to day but the qauntity is pretty much the same, He is a piggy, Definately not like shopping for 2 anymore.
apologies for my horrific spelling today, just not really on the ball. Off to watch Dr Phil...Sad I know. Z has been asleep for nearly 2 hours crazy, No afternoon sleep for today I'm guessing.
Have great day girls
xo
Yay Zane for eating his fruit! It is so nice when they finally eat something you want them to eat, isn't it? They sure are little piggies; Jasper feels a lot heavier now than a month ago, will have to put him on the scales again.
A typical day for us is like this:
7am bf
8am cup of porridge with milk and one slice of toast with vegemite
9.15 morning nap
11.30 lunch: one slice of bread, fruit, meat/cheese, sometimes a finger food vegie and milk in sippy cup
2pm custard
2.15 arvo nap
4pm yoghurt with fruit/slice of raisin toast/mini muffin
6pm 5 vegie mix with meat or cheese
7.15 bf then bed
Very similar, just has two snacks in the arvo and none in the morning, otherwise he isn't hungry for lunch. Sonya; does Zane eat salad? Jasper doesn't seem to be able to chew things like thin slices of cucumber yet, so I haven't even tried lettuce...
I think we will be down to one sleep soon too. We tried it on the weekend and he was fine with that, but the last few days he needed his arvo sleep again. Do you put him to bed earlier at night if he doesn't do a arvo sleep or do you keep him up? Jasper gets quite cranky after a while unless we are out and about.
Gees, DD really doesn't eat much compared to the others. She is still very light for her age and while some days she eats heaps, other days I really struggle getting food into her.
On a typical day she would eat the following:
7.30: BF
8: one weetbix (sometimes one a half) with full cream milk, a little of my toast with vegemite and sometimes some fruit (maybe half a banana or a few grapes)
morning tea: fruit or raisin toast, if anything and maybe a small cup of milk before her nap
lunch: If I am out she likes to eat whatever I am having (she LOVES pasta - if I am out and order pasta, she will often eat a fair bit of it), if we are home then a sandwich with lots of cheese and ham, plus some fruit (but she just pulls the sandwich apart and eats the ham and cheese and not the bread!)
afternoon tea: maybe some fruit or yoghurt
dinner: whatever we are eating, or else I will make her some pasta and vegies if what we are eating is not appropriate for her. Then BF and bed.
She seems to pick at things a lot during the day but doesn't eat a lot at each meal. Frustrating when you are a worried mum trying to make your bub put on some weight!
Thanks everyone for the advice re day care options. I am checking out the fam day care place tomorrow so will see how I feel after that.
sue - you have talked me into reading the Twilight books. Once I have finished the book I am reading now I think I will go out and buy them.
esme - I can't get Catherine to eat salad either, she's just not interested in it. I think we are down to one nap a day here too, she hasn't wanted her second nap for the last week unless she was up extra early so had an early morning nap. It's a bugger - I like my two breaks a day when she was down for naps!
prama - I hope you get your voice back soon!
sonya - good to hear from you again. What a great sleep in you had on Sunday, yay! Us mums deserve it. I am thinking of weaning DD too because it would be nice to be able to have a few drinks again!
Hi Everyone,
where has this week gone? where has this month gone??
Bun --- Yeah for twilight!! I also have the movie so if you would like it let me know. Big W and K-Mart are the cheapest to buy them from. I am going to buy a set also as i have just been borrowing my friends. There is also a trailer for the next movie online New Moon movie trailer. My addiction is a bit sad really I am reliving my teenage years. But i just love it. Also have the music soundtrack OK sound like a freak now. Hopefully you will understand when you finish the first book!!!
Our day is something like this
7am milk
8am breakfast weetbix with milk toast and vegemite
9.30 - 10.00 am fruit
11am sometimes sleep
1pm lunch sandwich / yoghurt
3pm milk / dry biscuits / fruit
5.30 dinner whatever we are having and can't get enough icecream
7.00 7.30 bottle and bed
DD is occasionally having only one sleep of one hour eeekkkk. Yesterday she went to bed at 11am up at 12 and then didn't go to bed until 7.30pm. I tried to put her down after the school run but she wasn't interested. Makes for a long afternoon with two other tired cranky pants after school and kinder.
Bronzdbebe -- Oprah after Dr Phil???? I have started watching Oprah at 1pm just for a little sanity break DS2 and I make train tracks and watch Oprah. he he
Esme -- have you had your biopsy result yet???? Thinking of you.
Prama -- hope you are feeling a bit better today and have got your voice back. We are planning a trip to Sydney in the September school holidays maybe we could catch up????
OK better go Jobs to do
Have a good day everyone
Sue
thanks sue!!
im better today, i got some strepsils with ibuprofen fr the chemist and i feel better! at least i can swallow w/o pain. hopefully my voice comes back soon.
would love to meet up in sept!! when are school hols? we are away to msia and back on the 5th of sept.
poopy seems to sleep longer at day care than at home :(
esme- yes thinking of you hun. xoxoxxo
Thanks girls! Will have the biopsy tomorrow and my best guess is the results some time next week, so wish me luck.
Prama - Good to hear you are feeling better. Yay on going back to Malaysia! So jealous! We won't be going over for the next few years or so :(.
Sue - Eeekkk!!!! Only one hour sleep during the day?? I thought when they would go to one sleep they would sleep for longer... although the couple of times we had Jasper on one sleep he only slept for 1.5 hours.. will try to keep him on two sleeps as long as possible!
Sonya - I love watching dr. Phil! Just can't get it anymore now :(, ah well, all saints repeat will have to do.
Bun - To me it sounds like Catherine is eating quite a bit and a nice variety of foods; she has come a long way! But I know, as a mum you just want them to eat properly . DP's 22 month old niece eats less then Catherine and she is a healthy, active little girl; just doesn't need much!
As for me; just getting nervous for tomorrow and not looking forward to a week of not knowing and jumping whenever the phone rings... And a weekend with a sore boob, but that is the least of the worries. Was looking forward to going shopping after the biopsy, but MIL is looking after Jasper and she has to go back to work, so no shopping for us :(.
esme - ooh will be thinking of you tomorrow, will say my prayer. the wait's terrible. hope dp can help heaps on the weekend so you get a bit more rest.
wish we were closer, we could let the boys go feral together and i can help you out. xoxoxo
we're going to m'sia in aug as my cousin's getting married. we usually go back in dec. but yeah, flying to malaysia is cheaper than to NLD.
she's like a sister to me, since we both haveng got sisters. she lives in teh uk now and is marrying a nigerian.. so interesting. cant wait to see what their kids will look like!!! probably beautiful curly curly hair!
Hi My lovelies,
Glad to hear Z is eating roughly the same, makes me feel a little better.
Bun - How did fam DC go? Are you any closer to making your decision? I wouldn't worry about C she sounds perfect to me. Z loves pasta too, especially penne. LOL. Funny little things.
Esme - darlin i hope everything went Ok today, When do you get the results? Let us know, I think I'm speaking for everyone when I say we are all praying for you and wishing and sending you lots of healthy vibes. Good Luck.
Prama - Globe trotting again...Sooooo jealous!! I bet their kids will be beautiful too.
Sue - I think that the Twighlight book people should start endorsing you for publicity...LOL.....You making me want to read them. Will have to check them out at Big W this weekend.
I got the best bargain off ebay yesterday a purple GHD straightner with all the extra's hairdyer, heatmat, clips,DVD, bag for $260!! YAY!!! I told Dh it was my mothers day pressie...no more slippers/toasters/other houshold items for me....All he has to do now is get a card...surely he can do that...I have faith!!!
What are you guys getting the kiddies for easter?
Have a great WK End all.
BBL...Maybe
Love S xox
Good news; didn't have to have the biopsy! They did a US and it looked a lot better; less dense/more diffused so they came to the conclusion that the risk of infection/duct perforation outweighed the risk of it being cancerous. So the new approach is to wean bub over the next month or so and then do another US and review the situation. I am sooo relieved! All your positive vibes must have worked; thank you all so much!
Huuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy yyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!
i'M SSSOOOO HAAAAPPPPYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
bbl xoxox
YAY Esme. Thats wonderful news..... Now to get Jasper weaned!
HOORAY!
I too will be back later.
Hi Hun...And Other hunies...
:clap::dance:BEST news I've heard all day!!:clap::dance:
Congratulations that's awesome, I was thinking about you yesterday wondering how it was going....
Bath and Dinner time here so I'd better go help DH just noticed Es that you posted so had to quickly check in....Well worth it!!
Hope everyone is enjoying your weekends...I've just been to a 3 year old B'day..man I knackered!! LOL
Love S xox
Hi girls!
You brought a tear to my eye; thanks for thinking of me. Yes, I am hugely relieved.
As of yesterday we cut out Jasper's morning feed. We bought a new sippy cup especially for his milk feeds and he absolutely loves it. He hasn't tried to get bb at all; lol, here was me thinking it would be a big drama... He usually doesn't drink a full feed at night anyway, so I am not expecting many drama's there (from Jasper that is; I will be shedding a tear :(). What is it with bf? In a way I can't wait to wean (body/bb's mine again, DP getting up to him in the morning me staying in bed :)) but on the other hand I just don't want to...
And... we have a tooth!!!! Or, at least it has cut through the gum, you can feel it. It is his top left. Finally!!!
IKWYM Esme about the BF. I was sad about giving up but yet I wasnt! I guess a good thing is that I will have another one one day and can hopefully BF again. But when Jasper is fully weaned and you get your body back fully, it is great!
Esme - that is fantastic news! You must be so relieved. Good luck with the weaning. I am thinking of weaning too but feel the same way - it would be good to get my body back but at the same time I think I will be really sad! And yay on the tooth!
sue - I went to Kmart the other day to look for the Twilight books. I was hoping to find them in a box set but only saw them for sale individually for $20 each. Is that a good price or should I look around for the box set? My DH is going to hate you for encouraging me once I do buy them because I will probably not do anything around the house til I have read them all he he!
prama - how are you feeling now? Has your voice come back?
Thanks all for the reassurance re DD's eating. I had the idea of giving her toddler formula at night before bed to hopefully get her sleeping through the night again and to put on some weight. I tried it for the first time last night and she wouldn't touch it! So much for that bright idea... Ever since she had a cold a couple of weeks ago she has wanted a night feed again and just will not go back down unless she gets it. Grrr, I am not sure what to do, it feels like we are going backwards!
I have decided to go with the day care centre and will start settling her in this week. Cue tears from Mummy this week!
OMG God Sooo Many Yay's for this little group ATM...
Way to go Jasper, High Five!!! 1 Down 25 (?) to go...Do we have 26 teeth or is that just the amount of numbers in the alphabet!?
Es- I bet you are just stoked! That is awesome, so all in all I'm guessing your on top of the world right now!Your soooo Lucky that J loves his milk in a cup, I have to add a tsp of melted milo to Z's or he won't have a bar of it, I might try the formula too. We are still on bedtime BF and I think I'll get sad/teary too, I just sometimes feel like I'll loose some of our closeness...I know silly but I can't help it so I'm holding onto the BF??
Bun- Honey we will be here for you next week. Make sure you stay busy while C is at DC, go out for coffee or get your hair or nails done, but don't go home to an empty house, maybe not the first time, might be to upsetting for you babe...or better still go to an internet cafe with a latte and chat to us!!:D I'm sure she will find her groove again soon re night feeds...it is sooo annoying though isn't it. mainly because we are now used to sleeping through too. LOL
Jen- How are the BB's now? Have they settled down since BF has finished? Sorry if this is TMI....Have they shrunk? I had next to nothing before I was preggers and BF'ing  But now I have some well I'm a 12B and I don't want to loose them:redface: Please tell me they haven't? :D How is Missy Amber doing ATM?
I have had a great weekend, We went to a friends little girls B'day on Sat (she was 3)and it was awesome! Z kept kissing her with his mouth wide open and his tounge out..charming. She thought it was gross and kept running away. Very funny. Poor little fella they are already treating him mean to keep him keen!
Today we went to the park and had a ball, Z now loves the slide, Thank God Dh was with me because it's a case of slide down straight back for another go, your arms are soon burning!! And then some shopping, I cashed in some points on my credit card and got a David Jones voucher and...I finally got some Sass and Bide jeans! I have been eyeing them off for ages but couldn't afford/or justify to DH why I spent that much on jeans. Thank You Award points!!
Swimming lessons tomorrow at 11.30...first one so wish me luck. I hope it goes OK, I'm thinking we will be fine but it's a new thing for him. There are only 6 in the class and it goes for 1/2 hour.
On a not so good note.......DH is going to away for 8 weeks come June/July. I'm not sure what I'm going to do! I'm thinking I might pack up and head to Mum and Dad's? They live 8 hours away in NSW, I don;t have any other family here in QLD, I do have my BFriend moving over in 2 weeks and she will be really close but it's just not the same. I know you guys can't decide for me but what do you think?
Anyway thats about it from me..Massive Hugs all Round...I'm so glad I joined this group.
Big hello's to Sue,Karlie,Prama & Kato, Hopefully BBL..well tomorrow.
Love S xox
hi girls.
just wanted to say sorry for not being a very good "poster" lately.. im just finding it so hard to catch up and do personals. ive been sneaking time at work to post.
jasper - yaay! they're all waiting to pop soon. poopy's took forever and then 5 followed very closely. i think he's teething again.
sonya - there's 20 milk teeth! lol. i understood what you meant :D
bun - glad you found a day care. she'll be all right and make friends quickly. the first few days might be hard. go out and enjoy doing things at a leisurely time, else just stay in bed and sleep sleep sleep
poopy's not a big baby, weight or height...
sorry gotta run.. something's come up and have to troubleshoot!
will try to post again later
love you all very much
Hi girls!
Jen - Yes, can't wait to have my body back! How long did it take for your bb's to no longer feel full after you cut out the last feed? I am just not looking forward to the blown-up painful feeling I had when my milk came in, so I hope it won't be as bad...
Bun - We will be here for you, hun! As Sonya said; make sure you get out and about and come online to chat with us! About the nightfeed; would it work if you try to give her a sippy cup water/cowsmilk at night and wean her slowly off that? Or won't she take that at all? FWIW: i try to stick to this rule; once I cut out a feed to never reintroduce it again... I hope I can stick to it when he gets sick though... makes it all so hard, doesn't it:hug:? Hope you will get your full night's sleep back soon!
Sonya - LOL, you are funny! Sure made me laugh this morning! Yes, one down 19 to go!!! He hasn't been too cranky/sooky and still sleeps through (touch wood..) so it hasn't been too bad. I feel the same regarding finishing bf; you can count the number of times I have said on here that I was ready to wean, but nothing happened... I noticed with the morning feed out of a sippy cup we still have the nice cuddles, so that might make it a little easier. In a way it is good to have the added motivation to wean as I want to get rid of this lump, so that is my main priority atm. I just want to have my body back (and healthy) for a few months before ttc #2. Yay, on Z enjoying the park! Jasper can't get enough of it; his favourite activity is play with the mulch and the sticks, although he does love the slide and the swings. Sorry to hear that DH has to go away again , I think it might be a good idea to go to your mum & dad so you have some extra hands around when you need it and they get to see Z more! Whereabouts in NSW are they? I guess too far from Leeton... pity, otherwise we could catch up! Enjoy the swimming lessons, let us know how you went.
Prama - Don't worry about lack of personals! Just pop in when you have a chance. Love your new pic of Lakshman, he is so cute!
Nothing much happened here. We had a relaxed weekend catching up with grandparents and friends. Jasper loved playing with the neighbours kids (6 yrs and 20 months); had a ball walking after them and trying to take toys of them! Might have to take him to playgroup now.. if only he would wake up later in the morning so he wouldn't need his morning sleep.. We finally changed his carseat around to forward facing yesterday, so will have to go for a test drive today to see if he likes it. We are planning on going to Canberra to stay with SIL over Easter; quite looking forward to getting out of this little town for a while and to, hopefully, do some bushwalking.
That's us for now! Wishing everyone a happy day!
es - we are going to canberra may 15th - 18th.. i suppose you are going in april :( sorry we wont be able to catch up :(
sonya - boobs -i used to be a 12C/14B, the other day went to get new bras and found out that im a 16D. Steve's eyes were as big as saucers and he went jesus!! lol. i no longer get a full feeling. im only doing morning and night feeds. if i do cut down, i might do the night and keep the morning. easier to bf in the morning than to wake up and warm up the milk etc.
might be an idea to go to mum and dad's as esme said. gives them time to spend w z, vice versa and you to have a break too. someone to help w the cooking and cleaning and you can go out and do stuff while they can help look after z.
take care girls//
Sonya - I think you should stay with your parents while DH is away. I stayed with my parents when DH went away when DD was quite young, and they only lived 15 mins away! I am also worried about my bbs post-BFing. Like you, I had very little before DD and I have enjoyed having bigger bbs while BFing! I think I am going to be disappointed though. Right after a feed they look depressingly empty and I imagine that is what they are going to look like when I finish feeding :( Oh, and I didn't even notice that you said numbers in the alphabet! How did swimming go?
esme - Jasper will love having his car seat turned around! We turned DD's around ages ago and she loves it, plus it is easier to pass things back to her to keep her happy! How is the weaning going?
prama - woo hoo on the bigger bbs! I wish that would happen to me! And don't apologise for not having time to post much, we are happy to hear from you whenever you get a chance and we know how busy you must be!
We start settling DD into day care on Thurs :(. I am still so unsure what to do, I think I should go back to work PT but I kind of don't want to at the same time. I think I would feel so lonely and sad at home on my own without her, I don't think I have ever been at home without her since she was born!
Guess I didn't have to worry after all... New Post

Nighty Night
Love S xox
Good morning girls,
Sorry have been very busy haven't had time to post. Have been having BB withdrawal.
Sonya -- big hugs to you. It is only natural for you to feel that way, you have had a great BF journey and I am sure you will do it again one day. The first of many milestones for little Z enjoy them all even if there are a few tears I think thats what being a Mummy is all about.
I too would also go and stay with your Parents while DH is away, support for you more playmates for Z. Once he is walking on his own lookout you will need the extra hands he he
Esme -- YEAH:leap::leap:so happy for you and that you didn't have to have a biopsy. WOOHOOO!!!!!
Bun -- Good luck on Thursday will be thinking of you. Is she having a half day to start with??? Do something just for you, go shopping, have a coffee, go to a movie, you will be thinking of Catherine no matter what you do but if you are busy it might be a little easier.
Re twilight books I think Big W have them for $16 and I think you can buy them on line for $10 but then not sure about postage. PM me your address and I can send you the movie he he
Prama -- Septmeber school holidays are from the 21st Sept not sure when we will be coming up but will definately let you know
OK better go and get organised for school and kinder
Hi to everyone else
Have a good day
BBL
don't fall for any april fools jokes
Prama - Yes we are going in April.... pity, would have been such a good chance to meet up!
Sonya -... At least you were able to keep bfeeding until Zane was ready to wean. Time to start planning all those things you were looking forward too! I will be crying too next week... I am trying to put off the inevitable, but have to make a firm decision on when I will cut out his last feed... I am looking forward to buying a properly fitted bra, but it doesn't look like I will have much bb left to put in it. I went from a 12B to a 14E, but now it looks like I might be either back to a B or even A :(. Ah well, at least they will be mine (DP's?) again.
Sue - Thanks, very happy girl here! Cutting out feeds makes it play up a bit again, but only one feed to go... Also thanks for the April fool's day warning; would have forgotten all about it!
Bun - to you too! Will be thinking of you on Thursday. Jasper loves having his carseat turned around. He keeps making excited noises at whatever he can see; so cute! Just wondering one thing; how do they sleep? It seems a little upright to me... do they need one of those neck 'thingies', or do they sleep ok without one?
As for us; we have been enjoying the cooler weather and the newfound mobility and spend hours in the park. Jasper just loves walking through the leaves, around the aviary and play on the slide and the swings. I have to say, it makes it a lot easier for me to entertain him. His second tooth is cutting, but it doesn't seem to bother him too much. He hasn't bitten me yet, but after a feed I can see a lovely red imprint on my bb. Still going strong with the sign language; he really enjoys doing the signs for me to get me to say the words to them. He can use the signs properly now, and was asking for 'more sleep' at 8.30. I put him in bed and he happily stayed in bed until he fell asleep. Whenever he starts to chuck a tantie, I ask him to show me what he wants, he instantly calms down and thinks about the sign to use and shows me with a big proud smile on his little face!
