Well done on taking Ava out by yourself!!! I remember when i first took Caleb out, i brought EVERYTHING wiht me, just in case haha but now its so much easier, you will get more and more confident with it. You and Ava seem to be coming along nicely now, its so good to hear that she has put on some more weight.
My boy is a fatty boom boom... haha, just joking, he now weighs 4.4kg and i can feel the difference in my back!
Went and bought the book "secrets of the baby whisperer" by tracey hogg yesterday and can i say after five days of Caleb not sleeping in the daytime he is starting to settle down today. Its a fantastic tool of figuring out your baby, how to know his routine and how to take the lead with it as well. Yesterday i was exhausted and cried and cried and Craig had to come home from work to help me out because as i said it was day 5 of him just not sleeping through the day and today he has had a 1.5 hour sleep this morning and is sleeping now (going on 1.5 hours) and ive been able to have a shower and do my washing for the first time in 2 days! Im feeding him every 3.5 hours because i have now learnt how to read and tell the difference between his "hungry cry" and his "tired cry"
They also have a website that gives you all the info you need so you dont necessarily need the book, not sure if we are allowed to post these but if anyone is interested the link is Welcome to Babywhisperer Homepage
He is still sleeping pretty much through the night though which is good, after his evening bath and feed he goes down at 7pm, i give him a dreamfeed at 10.30pm, he wakes at 2-2.30am and goes straight back down to sleep and will wake up around 6.30-7pm when we start the day.
right, now for me to go and have a lie down (im so excited i get to do this today!!)
