Had a wonderful night last night,Nixon went straight down,had to rock the cot a coupla times but no dummy and we played his seahorse that has music and he went to sleep.he fed well.,dream feed all gone and kept sleeping,4am feed ate and straight back to sleep.now 8am had feed and one hour up and tired and straight back down...yay he and i are so much happier,,,i got more smiles and giggles this morning,ohhhhh it juts makes me melt....
anyway im going back to bed for an hour and have cuddles with dh now
Bon: When are you going to sleep school? You probably posted the date but don't remember reading it. Good luck anyway....maybe you will be able to offer some advice when you return.

BIG HELLO to everyone else!!!
AFM: We went to a wedding last night (I was one of 6 bridesmaids and DH was one of 6 groomsmen lol). I was really worried about the dress as we guessed my size when I was pregnant but fit like a glove thank goodness!! Mum and Dad came with us as our babysitters and we all had a wonderful time. It was a lovely wedding but glad to be home.
Love reading what other bubs days are like! They all seem so different!! Dash has found his own routine (until next growth spurt). It goes something like this....
Wake at 5-6 am feed - this is when everyone is up in our house - we are all early to rise lol!!
Sleep by 6.30am in bouncer (falls asleep when ready after a play)
Wake at 8.30am feed and put to sleep in cot awake and settles no probs
Wake at 10.30am feed and awake to 11.30am and another feed then sleep
Wake at 3pm feed and play and feed again at 4pm then sleep in bouncer - can be a bit whingey at this time. Not always helpful when preparing dinner so I now make dinner before 3pm and reheat. He is really only napping between 4 and 7 but when awake just looks around and falls back off to sleep (or lets us know he is still around lol).
Wake at 7pm and play one-on-one time (tummy time) cos DD in bed...yeah!!!
Bath at 8.30pm to wake up properly for a full feed at 9pm and put to bed awake to settle no probs with music and wrap under arms (no bath or really, really tired means he will snack instead of have a 'meal' and therefore wake at 3am - he feeds quickly and resettles if this happens though so nothing to complain about).
Sleep through until 5am-6am
He feeds often during the day due to reflux as he has smaller meals more often iykwim. He also clusters to build up ready for long sleep at night. So.....I have been really lucky sleepwise with Dash (maybe not medically though - reflux is tough and people don't always understand when I say "no you can't hold him" after a feed etc.). Bottle feeding probably makes it easier though since he is fuller for longer (sleeping long stretches I mean). Anyway, it is working for us. Sounds like other bubs are finding their way as well.....yeah!! I remember 4 months being the time when DD and other mums in playgroup identified as a tricky time in terms of sleep and keeping routines etc. What do you other experienced mums think or remember??

i was goign to go to sleep school at northpark private hospital in bundoora but the stupid woman i spoke to couldnt give me a straight answer if they gonna continue it,
i rang tweddle and they are based in footscray,however they run settling and sleep day progammes in craigieburn which is like 1 minute from me so they are gonna contact me wednesday,i will ring my private hospital again however tweddle are government funded..
Orange - good stuff with Dash's routine, sounds like you two have it sorted yay!! Caleb has reflux too, we just bought formula thickener today to add to his formula and also got some Losac too to help him, i also give him infants friend to keep the wind issues down. He just gets those blasted hiccups far too many times a day and for far too long!! sometimes for an hour! drives me nuts so cant imagine how he feels poor little man!!! So lets hope we see some improvement with his reflux after all the money we just spent

Just a quick one today since I had a migraine yesterday and have an unsettled bubba as a result (I think it stuffed my milk supply )
Orange, yep, I think I remember 4 months as being a bit yuk for all the girls in my mum's group. Their teeth all seemed to start moving around - even though most didn't appear for a few months. They also seemed to want to change their routines - whether it was related to their teeth or not we still don't know!
Thought so Dis....only time will tell with lot hey lol!!
Jo I have my fingers crossed. Dash is on Zantac and it is in liquid form so easy to put in his bottle. I have found that the reflux is worse if he has colic as well so Infacol goes in every bottle to try and battle that rattley chest....the combo seems to work. Dash also has Gaviscon in all bottles over 100mL and is on a thickened formula to top it off!!! His reflux is quite bad though. Good luck!!
Any of you been to a Wiggles concert before? Was thinking about taking DD but wasn't sure what to expect in terms of seating, crowds etc. How would I go at handling a nearly 4month old at the concert?? Just that my parents are overseas and no-one to watch Dash.....maybe it is best to wait for the next concert??
