You're welcome Michelle- sometimes I think I have forgottton most of my "teaching" stuff but it comes flooding back so I guess it is something I won't forget. When he wants you to tell him a word then go through the questions, ask him esp what it could be, what would make sense cos reading for meaning is most important. it is hard with simple texts cos they aren't alwaqys that interesting or don't have very good story lines. SOunds like he is coming along nicely and great that you want to help him too. If only all parents did the same.

I am sitting here in front of a mountain of folded washing so guess I should sort it and put it away, bf the guests arrive...just my parents and my aunty, for my bday. My gf came and gave me a gorgeous angel ornament watching over two little girls. And I got a massage chair and another 3 figurines and a set of mugs. Also got $130 so far from family towards my new sewing machine....can't wait to go sewing machine shopping.
