OMG you girls can talk lol
No Deb no bathroom..Eliza being the princess she is has got her big bath (its nice not to cram her in the little baby one 18 months we definatly got our moneys worth out of it). FIL is tiling today so hopefully Daddy dearest will come back and put in the loo, vanity and then just waiting waiting for the shower screen that was going to take one week now we are going on 2 and a half. BTW Fi thinks Elizas chicken pox is mozzie or flea bites who knows least I will play dumbo....yes a stretch for me pmsl
I want a bike and trailer I just wish I didnt live at the bottom of a hill
Bec
Have a great day
-
LOL @ living at the bottom of a hill, Bec.
Sounds like your bathroom is at least moving ahead... grrr @ the shower screen.
-
Its only the bottom of a hill if you want to go up it Bec ;) Those trailers are cool, but then so are the bike seats. I too am imagining Debbie stomping through the grass!!
I have a sick little girl. She has slept on me like a newborn pretty mcuh all day. I've absolutely loved it! I got a couple of DVD's this morning, so I just popped them on, and the lounged on my chest sleeping on and off. No more poos thankfully, her bum has eased, but her appetite still aint great. Your icypole was a big hit Bec! Thanks :)
I might go and get a banana for dinner for her. Hopefulyl she will eat it. I thought she was on the mend, but she has lost all her enrgy again, and is now asleep on shane's chest. Its hard to get much done when thats the only place she is happy.
Trish - I hope your day went OK. Fingers crossed you didn't slap the silly new wife ;) You dont want to end up with any charges!!
Tanya - nice to see you in here. How did your baby dancing do this month?
Sarah - nice to see you too :) The real you too! Zander is sounding very cute - they all are pretty cute noe huh. I'm loving some of it. And how awesome that he is still sleeping through for you. You must be feeling a million bucks!!
Deb - Bummer on the fish pond. Just make sure the wire is pulled nice and tight.
Better get something organised for eating as I have hardly had anything today with missy being attached to me. Funny - after watching supersize me I actually would kill for some fries!!! Isn't that wierd? And a little craving for a big mac too.....Yum.....
Fi
-
LOL Fi @ craving Maccas now ;) Awww poor Jenna! Hope she's better tomorrow! Those cuddles are nice, aren't they? You don't get much done but it's a good excuse to not to housework hehehe.
Just took some photos of Gabby wearing her t-shirts from Sarah! I've sent a few thru to you, Sarah... but I'm not sure if I got the email addy right so let me know if they don't come thru. I'll add them to Gabby's site later on.
How did everything go today, Trish?
-
OK sort of back, stupid puter has a virus that is going through msger. I can't get rid of it, not that nerdy so I think it will need to go to the shop, again :(
Yesterday went as well as can be expected, first ones there, last to leave. They had Joel's charges stuffed off on the paper work so we had to get them to get incontact with the officer and have it ammended. Anyway, Joel got Youth Justic Conferencing. Which is basically where there is a panel that he has to fron along with me and any other support people, he has to explain what he did, how it has affected him and other and then they work out a punishment for him. Some form of community service of sorts. Oh and best of all, no record !!
Deb, lol at the Fissy, FIssy. How cute. Make sure the wire is very tight, don't want any accidents happening hey.
Sarah, we get the mahhhh too, very cute, either that or Oops a daisy !! Sounds like we have a few BB bubs with some funky new clothes happening hey :)
Tanya, not much longer to testing day, any symptoms ?? I will remember the whole stomping thing too next time we go bush walking !!
Fi, nope didn't slap her, apart from her sour face she was ok for the day. Poor Jenna, I hope she is feeling better today, although you rest is fantastic when they are sick, isn't it.
Bec, I don't know how your coping without a bathroom, that would kill me.
-
Trish - Oh no! You have the virus too... one of the girls in the TTC threads got a virus come MSN too...
Unreal that Joel doesn't have a record... hope the community service will be enough to stop him from being so silly again. Did he seem regretful?
Uno how I was complaining that Gab isn't very affectionate?? Well, the last few days she's been delightful! I get kisses when I ask (so does dolly and teddy and anything that she can kiss). Last night Neil got a big kiss, a cuddle with a tap, tap, tap on the shoulder then a "Bye-bee no-nighs" and a wave!! OMG! I could just eat her up!! She says "bye-bee" to her poos down the toilet too.
Oh and yesterday I was changing her nappy and she said as clear as day "Just wees!". Lo and behold, no poo!! Soooo cute! I always say "Just wees" when there's no poo. She's a clever chooky!
-
Yay on a good result Trish, at least he won't have a record which is fantastic.
LOL at little miss Gabby. How cute is she!?
-
Oh well... uno we have the cutest group of babies on the forum so she's just living up to the standard!! hehehe
-
Yep we definately do, not that I'm biased or anything ;)
-
Hey I will third that opinion. Although my gorgeous little one, who is in bed sleeping like an angel now, was anything but lastnight.
She went down around 8ish, I crashed on the lounge around 11pm while running stupid antivirus crap - that didn't work anyway, only to wake to her screaming at 11.30pm took her into bed and resettled, not sure when else she woke was too tired to look at clock but it was another 2 times then up for good at 5.15am !!! She's getting bloody earlier!!!! Any wonder she is tired now, if only I could go back to bed too.
Seems like this virus is a doozy, it's wiping alot of peolpe out and looks like a buggar to fix too
Deb, Gab sounds so very cute. CLever liitle girl that she is. Our little bubba's are growing up way too fast :(
-
Why when you think your child has the sleep thing down pat they change their mind and wake lots.
Hope tonight is better
Bec
-
If you work it out Bec, please tell me too LOL!
-
Awwww Bec.... *hugs*
Neil is home for 5 days now. Bugger!! LOL
He's driving me nuts already! hahahaha
-
Bec, atelast you know your not alone. I have not had a whole nights unbroken sleep since before Tehya was born. And she is damn well making sure that it doesn't happen anytime soon.
Deb, does that mean you can bum around and get Neil to lok after Gab?? It's nice to have them home for abit then it's like, ok go back to work now. Abit like having the kids home on holidays.
Sarah, what's the go hun, you've taken out the link to your ff. Is that so you get no stalkers ;) I guess it might inadvertantly take some pressure off you. How is sexy little Zander going ??
-
Trish... not long until testing... Urgh!! Seems like forever!! I am definately not going to make the test day!! I think Deb and I are almost tww buddies ;)
LOL @ Neil driving you nuts already Deb... poor Neil! I love having Wato home... he looks after the girls ;) He has just started a new job, so he has bee a happy camper :)
Bec, sorry Eliza is not sleeping well :( I hope it changes soon!
You too Trish... I am glad you have the early riser... I wouldn't survive!! LOL
No much going on here... ALthough I have a parrot... her name is Violet! LOL... Such a copy cat!
TL
Tanya
-
Yep Deb & Tanya are pretty well in the same spot cycle wise this time ;) Not me though, still at the start ho hum!
Aaron is off from Friday until next Tuesday which I am looking forward to cos we hardly ever see him at the moment (especially with him working 10.30am - 9.30pm on Sunday just gone).
Not sure if you noticed, but I took a few days off last week after having a bit of a meltdown over TTC. My damn stress eczema has shown up again & things were getting on top of me. Soooo I decided to remove my link to remove the temptation for *everyone* to look. I was getting so many PMs etc and it was just too much with me putting pressure on myself as well! But yeah you're welcome to look, I just figured it would make it harder for just anyone to comment LOL! Crap, that sounds bad doesn't it. Hmmm ah well I hope you understand what I mean!
Mr Zander man is going very well. Tearing my pay envelope apart as I type! Sleep is meh sometimes good, sometimes horrendous, but at least the good seem to be coming more often now. He still has no hair, surprise surprise! Ummm, we're off to a new park today, well not new but one we haven't been to before so that should be fun. Other than that same old same old.
-
Sarah - that doesn't sound bad at all. You're such a presence in the TTC threads so I guess everyone is really hopeful for you. I imagine it puts a load of pressure on you tho :( I don't blame you for removing the link (lucky I bookmarked it, hehehe - but I can unbookmark it if you like!). I had a feeling you were scarce because of AF showing up but I didn't want to hassle you about it. Woo hoo for getting to see Aaron! Sounds like he's been flat out!
Tanya - LOL @ your parrot. Such a pretty name for a parrot ;) Oh... and you're testing before me!! I insist!! hehehe
Trish - yep... it does mean I get to bum around a bit more. Gab adores her Daddy and he spends lots of time outside... she also loves it outside! I was just being grumpy this morning. Neil's changed a few things (eating better for one.... and that annoys me because it means he doesn't enjoy my cooking as much and that's how I show love! So I am not feeling very appreciated right now!). He's also being a PITA about me getting some work. God forbid I enjoy another week off!! I just don't feel "settled" yet and we don't need the money yet because we still have a bit leftover from settlement.
Wooo hooo! We just got foxtel... well, austar. Gab is watching Bob the Builder. Ahhh 24 hours of electronic babysitter, hehehe. Oooo and lots of episodes of Scrubs.... mmmmm I could just eat Dr. Dorian....
-
LOL good pick Deb ;) I don't mind people looking at my chart, feel free. I just figure people have to go to the effort now to find it so I might not have quite so many ;) I have your chart bookmarked too for when I make your page funky!! Which BTW I figured out how to make blinkies this morning (Tracey will have hers on tonight).
Yay for Foxtel, it's great huh?! I will tell you know though that you will probably come to loathe Balamory LOL!! As for Scrubs, my brother is a fan so I got him series 1 on DVD for his birthday yesterday & series 2 for Christmas - only $20 each :D
-
Sarah, your ears may have been burning last week as Nadine and I were talking about you and TTC. Saying how very hard it must be to be a part of a site like this when you have a hard time falling pg and it seems that it can come so easy to so many others. And then having to put on your brave face and be happy for all. Huge hugs to you hun, I know that it can't be easy.
LOL at Zander still having no hair. Think of it this way, atleast you save on shampoo for him :)
Deb, well if Neil isn't loving your cooking as much then maybe it's time for him to cook ? I don't relaly care what Mark serves as long as I don't have to make it :) Mark takes the kids outside to play all the time, either that or he takes them to the park in the afternoons. I love the break.
Tanya, I agree, what a gorgeous name for your parrot. And such a pretty one at that.
Fi, I hope your doing ok and Jenna is feeling better now too.
So does that mean all of you girls will be getting your BFPs and I will be in here on my own while you all move off onto belly buddies instead... Well, I won't be joining you so I will have to just stick my head in there to keep tabs.
Just got a call from Victoria, my midwife. She finally had her little girl at 4am this morning. 11 day over. she was about 7lbs 3 ozs or pretty close to that. Another home birth and she is gorgeous :) Not sure whether to post a birth announcement for her or not. Micheal (her DH) comes on here abit lately. Anyway a big congrats to them :confetti:
-
Is that schmickers?? Well congratulations to them :D LOL at not having to buy shampoo for Zander, we're only just onto the 2nd bottle for him :cryinglaugh: Aaand that's with washing his hair every day or every 2nd day.
Usually I am fine with all the BFPs, I love it which is why I'm mod in the TTC threads, but every now & then I come unstuck. Sometimes it might be just a big run of BFPs, others it might just be a particular person or even thinking (which did it this time) that had I fallen pregnant first time trying I would be due to give birth any day. I try to stay positive, but like you said it's not easy all the time. It's funny though with 16 pregnancies in June this year I was fine with it *shrugs*
-
Yup Sarah it's Schmickers :)
New bub There is a link to their webpage and their new bub. Don't mind Vic's boobies ;)
I can totally understand how it would be hard for you hun and don't at all blame you for having a melt down. I have a gf who has PCOS and has been trying for the last 7 years to have a bub. There have been many conversations and tears with her. You would've met her at my baby shower.
LOL at only being on your second bottle. I use ours for both Noah and Tehya and then I also need to use the Johnsonsleave in hair condition spray on Teh's hair as the curls get all knotty. Sometimes I think bald is easier :)
-
Bah, who cares about the boobies :p And speaking of hair - woah bubby has a lot :D
-
Doesn't she what, Thats what VIctoria said. She couldn't believe how much and how dark it was. Molly had dark hair when she was born too, but is a blondie now. But I have never seen such dark eyebrows on a little bub. Very sweet :)
-
Hey all,
rough few days in this house. Jenna didn't eat from Sunday night, and was pretty unwell with temps and all. Poor little girl, its hard when you are use dto them being so bloody active.
I took her to the dr yesterday and she was astounded at her - knew instantly something was wrong which is nice. Cuddles have been good and plentiful, but also hard work when I haven't been able to put her down without her making me feel like I'm the worst person in the world.
She has a bit of appetite back today, still not normal, and has just woken up - she's only been down for about 45mins. Grrrr. I guess I'm on cuddle duty.
Sarah - chin up - it will happen eventually, and it is nice in lots of ways that so many people are rooting for you. I know I wouldn't have the personality to cope with long term TTC, but then I'm a terribly impatient person, so I'm lucky in lots of ways. Still - as you know we all have misfortune mixed in with our good luck. I would rather have not lost the baby at Chrissie, and have had a little longer TTC, but what can you do right?
Trish - great news on your boys record. Big phew for you.
Deb - Hope all is well, hope your teaching stuff pans out OK, and bugger Neil.
Very tired, and now she has woken up, so it serves me right fo rbeing on here for the last hour rather then resting. Damn it all.
Fi
-
I'll keep you company Trish :)
I think I have decided not tell anyone that we are TTC again, our first pregnancy on IVF no one knew and it was Bliss when the others were done I was getting SMS all the time asking. So meltdown Sarah it is better out than in and I hope that it does happen soon.
LOL about hair Eliza had to get a hairbrush for Daycare it is a full on grown up one as she has so much hair...3 haircuts later and still gets knots
Hope everyone has a great day
Bec
-
Wow!! 3 haircuts, Bec?? Gab will be 20 before she needs a haircut! hehehe
I said to Neil today - any money our next bub will have a head full of hair!
Fi - poor Jenna :( The cuddling can get a bit tedious after a while so don't feel too bad when you need a break. When Gab gets like that I set her up on her little fold-out couch with her zoo pillow and a blankie. I lay with her for a little while until she seems comfy then she seems ok. It's not long before she's back to cuddling again but a few minutes break is nice!
Trish - woo hoo for Victoria! That's wonderful news. Don't worry - even if I get a BFP I'll still be in here just as much (just like Fi!). I don't know if I will ever have the same "bond" with other belly/baby buddies as with this group, iykwim? I can't really fathom it.
Sarah - woo hoo for adding more blinkies to Tracey's FF :) Glad I can still look at your chart if I want to, hehehe. Woo hoo for getting your brother the scrubs DVDs! They are on my chrissy list too... hopefully one of my sisters will get them for me.
I've just finished blowing up Gabby's blow-up cubby house thing. I tried using a bike pump to no avail so had to blow it up myself. So now I feel sick!! LOL It's worth it tho because she loves playing in it!
She spent the whole morning outside and got really filthy. Neil was remodelling the crappy little shed that's out the back. There's now beer and booby posters all over it.... like a miniature version of his old shed. He's already talking about where he'll build a bigger and better garage... oh what fun!
-
I went to buy the first 3 series from Target in a box together & it was $115, then I went to JB Hi Fi and they had them all seperately for $20 each. Guess where I went LOL!
Any idea what's wrong with miss Jenna Fi??
Wow at needing a proper hairbrush for Eliza. That's a loooong way off for us!
-
Hek yeah!! Isn't a box set meant to be better value?? Sheesh!
-
Dr says probably just a rotovirus Sarah. I suspected slapped check, and even suggested it could just be her eye teeth, but I was assured it wasn't.
Hopefully its nothign that can cause me and the unborn one any damage. Runny bums and pregnancy make me a little nervous - for good cause I reckon.
LOL on the hairbrush Bec!!! SHe surely has an amazing head of hair! And its so bloody even and thick. I saw a little curly haired girl today with all this long uneven stuff poking through, and I decided that would be Jenna in about 18m.
Men and their sheds huh Deb? Maybe give him a booby shot of your own to hang up there? Just to remind him about reality ;) Most of those silly women are plastic, they annoy the crap out of me!!
-
Fi - TOTALLY understandable that you're nervous about illness while you're preggo. After all you've been thru. Glad that Jenna hasn't got anything that can do you and bubba any harm. Hope she's feeling 100% soon.
As for the self-booby-shot, Neil would LOVE that! He's asked for one for his wallet. He even wanted one for his mobile. If I knew he wouldn't show anyone, yeah, no worries. But I know him! He'll show everyone! Turd! ;)
He's now on the roof of the shed chopping tree branches down so that we have a better view of Mt Sturgeon and Mt Abrupt.
I've got a photo of the view of Mt Abrupt that is literally down the end of our street.
Also got some gorgeous photos of Gab today wearing her bathers. I put them on her without a nappy and she looked sooooo cute! I'll stick 'em on her website when I get a chance.
-
Wow Deb, great view!! I had a great view at Dookie, I could see the great divide.. was lovely!!Could even see snow on the peaks in winter on a clear day :(
Don't they look so cute in bathers... why do you think when they make two piece bathers for littlies they make the bottoms twice the size at the top? Emily and Violet were given a two piece each off my cousin (they fell off hte back of a truck ;) )and the bottoms litterally fall of them while the top fits perfect! Even with thte swimmer nappy on...? Stoopid!
Tanya
-
Tanya - my friend had the same prob with her little girl. She's a skinny-minnie and her little bikini bottoms used to fall off!!
I've put those pics of Gab in her bathers on her site now. She was soooo cute! Wanted to just eat her up! I tried to be bit arty-farty and get some close ups but do you think she would look at the camera or even in my general direction?? Grrr!
Had playgroup this morning. Twas a bit hot and blustery but Gab still had fun. She got reeeallly cranky toward the end. Hardly a surprise! We had THE CRAPPIEST night last night with her sleep.
It started in the bath. I plonked her in and after a couple of minutes she started scrrreaming beside herself. I thought maybe her legs were stinging because she'd scratched them up a bit outside. But I think she's scared of the plug hole. The night before she pulled the plug out and got a big fright when it made a big gurgling sound (our last bath didn't do that).
Got her ready for bed and put her down and all she did was cry. VERY unlike her. Usually I don't hear a peep out of her for a good couple of hours. We went to bed about an hour later (after Neil and I had both been in to her a couple of times... she'd also been back up for a short cuddle). For the next hour she was crying every few minutes. Arrgh! So I set up the portacot in our room and had her in there. I reckon she woke me up about 5 times before I relented and had her in our bed. Normally she just plays when she's in with us (and I can't sleep when she's in our bed because I'm too scared I'll squash her). She kind of slept but tossed and turned. When she fell asleep properly I put her back in the portacot. She woke us up at 6am talking away and laughing. Arrgh!
So I am stuffed today. She's been in bed since 12pm (it's now 3pm). Surprise, surprise!
This heat is annoying!
-
It's hot hot hot here today as well. Love the piccies of Gabby in her swimmers, I cracked up at her wearing her gumboats with them though hehe! Poor chicken having a bad night, I hope tonight's better for you/her ;)
Had an interesting day with Zander & Piper. We went to Softplay & they had a ball, that is until a mean old man came near us LOL!! It was just a dad of some random little boy & Zander was petrified of him. Poor little guy was clinging to me for dear life and wouldn't go too far from me while this man was in sight. He looked nice enough, so I have no idea what that was about.
Oh, we went to Best & Less for a look around, as you do ;) And we found t-shirts, just plain ones (red, light blue, blue, green, pink, purple) and they were $1.99  So I bought Zander three. Can't have too many t-shirts & at that price I don't mind them being covered with dirt & food LOL!
-
OOOo! Great bargain, Sarah. Damn... wish there was a best and less here. HANG ON! We're going to Warrnambool tomorrow. Wonder if they have one there?? Hmmmm... ponder, ponder.
Awww poor Zander with the "mean man". Isn't it funny what they are scared of sometimes?
Yeah... Gab loves those darn gum boots. I didn't want her walking around in bare feet because Neil was ripping up cupboards etc. in the shed so she might stand on a rusty nail. Certainly made her look like a little country girl!
-
Deb,
Thats sounds exactly our night last night too. We started in the bath Eliza did poo and it was cut short. She was so tired and wouldnt eat dinner then would fall asleep and start screaming. I ended up feeding her weatbix while she was sleeping (lol) the nasty things I do. Guee hot day here hopefully we will get a good nights sleep.
Bec
-
Ick... sorry you had a crap night too, Bec.
Gab slept 5 hours today to make up for it. Lucky her!!
How's work going?
-
Check out my post in woohoo room guys ;)
-
Oooo that's so exciting, Sarah!! You guys are gonna look so spunky!
-
-
Hey all,
Jenna had her first sleep through since she's been sick. Yay for us! She is really tired this morning, just can barely lift her head. Poor mite. She's eating and drinking though, and normal pooing, so I'm not too fussed.
I've just put her down and she didn't fight it at all.
Sarah - how excitement!
***Pregnancy complaint alert***
I had my 30-31w appt yesterday, and the midwife was crap. They are all meant to be "stronger" midwives in the FBU because its all natural etc, but this woman has just got back from maternity leave, and is looking at a position in the FBU, so they are getting her to do the appts cause its just sooooo busy in there atm. Like yesterday someone had to deliver in the bathroom cause there were no suites left!
Anyway, she was really bleurgh, limited people skills, and so different from the other midwives. She thinks that the baby is still breech, which annoys the crap out of me, cuase I thought it was head down, and now I have to start on the fitball at night in front of telly. Grrrrr.
Just hoping that she was a bit wrong. She didn't seem to be that confident, I'm hoping that will change with her getting back into the job a little.
Hope all the bubs are coping with the heat, and I hope fires aren't too close to anyone. A bit scary so early in the season.
