    Hey Ladies.

Wow. Lotsa chatting chat. I'm going to try and do my best with personals while DS2 is quitely looking at the hanging star things in his basinette and dozing off a bit. Fingers crossed.

Missy - Sorry to hear about your job, but yeah you'll get more special time with Liam. YAY! I hope you both feel better with your colds. Hayden and I are finally getting past ours thank god. It makes me worry extra during the night when he's all snotty with his breathing, yah know.

Mel - Sounds like your DD is getting into a routine with her feeding. That's great. It sucks when it's like all you ever do is feed them constantly cause time flies that fast between feeds, then by the time you can rest you have to get up and start dinner or hang washing out. It's a never ending cycle. Lol.

Mez - Big hugs! You're doing a fantastic job as a mummy. I still call my DP crying at work half the time and even though he can't do anything it makes me feel better that he listens and tries to help as best he can. Just to hear their voice helps, I think.
I hope the rest of the days your DP is away go really really fastttt.

Zee - Your teeth will look amazing afterwards. Braces are so worth it. I had braces when I was in highschool. I love my teeth. You poor thing having to have teeth out though. I'd prob cry my eyes out. I didn't need any taken out. I hope you're going great and the feeding is going well too.

Tan - I hope you catch up some sleep.

Kell - Great to hear Jesse is back to his normal self now. I'm glad you and Keira didn't get it either.

Pixie - I hope you're feeling better today. xx

Lastly but not least, I wanted to also say I think you ladies with toddlers are dong a fantastic job too and you should be proud of yourself.
I'm proud of you guys and I don't think I'd be able to handle it as well as you ladies are doing it. You are awesome people and I hope your DP/DH's realise how lucky they are to have such great mummys for their children.

Wow. That's a first. I got through a post without having to stop and start or type one handed.
Hayden has been really sooky with me lately. He basically just wants me to hold him all the time. Sometimes he'll settle for DP, but most of the time lately he will only settle properly if I've got him. I guess his cold hasn't helped and he just wants his mummy all the time. I dunno.
Anyways, we had our 6week checkup yesterday. Everything is going fine. Hayden is healthy and all that jazz. The results from the placenta testing came back fine, so that was good too, and the other results came back normal aswell. So I was cheerin'!!!
Got my first Gardasil vaccination yesterday aswell. I was trying to explain to DS1 that he'll be having needles in a few weeks and it'll be fine, cause mummy just had one and she's fine. It didn't really work and I'm dreading that day even more.

Got the pill again. Lol. Fun fun. :P
This is nosey, but I'm going to ask anyways..
How do you all feel about DTD after the baby, or have you already?
After Elijah we waited a bit over the 6 weeks, and since I had stitches too, I was a bit reluctant, you know. This time is weird, like I am def. not ready for it and it's 6weeks and I even had less stitches this time.

Feeb, Tasia, Sal, Bear and everyone elseeee.

Seeya later. Ze boy is awake and goin' off.
Have a fantastic rest of the day.
    xx

Wow Tennykins, what a huge post - I'll be quick, DD is waking up
This is nosey, but I'm going to ask anyways..
How do you all feel about DTD after the baby, or have you already?
Yep, BTDT and it was fine. was about 2 weeks after having the baby. but then I had no stitches or anything so there was nothing to worry about there. I was a little worried it would hurt but it was fine. Of course most of the time I'm too knackered to think about it much!
But I think it's very individual thing and depends a lot on how your birth was and if you're still in pain or whatever. So take your time and wait until you feel ready for it.

    Hello sexy mummies and daddy

Just a quick one as DS is about to wake for a feed...

Tania & Mel- Hehe yeah I hope I have the best teeth in town..DH freaked when I gave him the quote. Said i should let him pull them for free.

Sydney girls/daddy- I was gunna ask if anyone wanted to meet up next week but looks like something is in plan already.. im free anyday but Monday cause i gotta go to the dentist.

Tenny- Yeah i was meant to have them in highschool aswell but refused to when my parents wanted me to get them.. why I didnt I dont know I cant wait to have nice teeth!!! They are knocking me out to have my teeth pulled cause my 4 wisdom teeth will have to be cut out Eeeek!!
I havnt DTD cause I havnt stopped bleeding yet, it may stop for like half a day or something and then starts back up again

Missy- Sorry about your job..its is a pretty rough shopping area up there so I thought he might move it.

Mary- Hunny your doing great, being a parent isnt easy at all and its also a 24-7 job... we cant just knock off at 5.
There was days when Laila was a baby or when she was sick when I thought I could just run away or just cry and cry.
It would be easier if they could just tell us what was wrong with them but even at 20months old Laila is a great talker but when she is upset/tired etc she just whinges instead of talking *sigh*
Things do get easier though, I always tell people that the 1st 6 weeks is the hardest

    ThePixie- Hope your feeling better

Kellxx- Yep I will have to go to hospital, be knocked out and stay in over night..not looking forward to it at all!! I agree, it costing me $190 for each filling so I had 1 yesterday and need 3 more over the next 2 weeks.
    Glad Jesse is all better.

I havnt put my claim in for the baby bonus yet.. can I just leave it till next tax?

I also sent away for Lucas's birth cert 1 month ago today and still havnt got it back..I dont remember it taking so long with Laila's.

Zee.. um.. why would you leave it until next tax? Plus you need to hand that form in to put Lucas on your medicare card and up any family assistance you get. Id be applying asap before they change the terms and you only get it in fortnightly payments. I think you also have a time limit to claim it. lol.. if you dont want it, take us all out for lunch . im the same with my bleeding.. think its gone then the bugger comes back. So over it. I still have no birth certificate either.. but they were quick to charge my card!

Tenny.. thanks hun. Oh noo ehh DTD. Im like Zee.. still bleeding so no chance. But yeh im still not 100% downstairs either. And dont think that will heal completely until the bleeding has stopped and im no longer wearing pads. With Jesse it was about 3 months lol. Or even more. I had a bad recovery so there wasnt any chance of any earlier than that. Hoping for my DH's sake its not that long.. but hes great and nice and patient lol. But i really dont know what im gonna do about contraceptives. Dont want another baby any time soon thats for sure!! Oh thats great your 6 week check up went well and the results were all negative!

Feeb.. oh you poor thing. I hope Jacob starts sleeping a bit better for you soon.

Mez.. oh big hugs hun. I know how you feel. Ive been having alot of those melt down moments today. Its horrible when you cant help them when theyre crying isnt it. Unfortunately it will be the same for a long time. But just remember you are doing a great job. Our crazy babies just like to keep us on our toes is what it is! Thank you hun youre a doll. Wouldve been nice if Keira didnt scream all day while out at the shops. Oh the joys!

Mel.. maybe M needs a faster flow teat if its taking that long? Thanks hun.

Pixie.. going to look at your photos now!

Sydney girls.. maybe Friday? Will run it by Kristy too, am seeing her tomorrow.

Well yes as i mensioned.. went out with Kristy today to Castle Towers and what wonderful children i have.. NOT! Keira cried all morning, Jesse whinged and threw tanties. Ehh!!!!!! What is with them!! Drove me nuts. Dont know how Kristy can be so patient with her kids! Man i respect and envy you woman!! I completely forgot about all the things i wanted to look for.. like my DUSTBUSTER! DOH! Will have to take the baby carrier next time im out and try Keira in that i think.

Ok going to raid the cupboard for something yummy.

Kel - nah don't think faster flowing teat is the answer with her.... she chokes on the slow flow as it is...lol... sorry you didn't have a good time shopping - I hate that... now your kids sound like my kids... lol

Pixie & Bear - love the pics man... so cute!!!! I took some tonight but won't load them on this computer, don't know when I will get mine back though...need a computer geek to fix it (SW where are you.... ... hehehe)

    Hi all

Well took Jonathan to doc 2d for his first immunisation He only cried for like 1 minute. I had tears in my eyes, but I was strong. He also has cradle cap between his eyes & a little bit on his eyebrows, my god this morning it was so red but now it settled down. She gave me this cream that I have to apply it on his forehead & she said to me if it doesn't heal in a few weeks, I have to go back.

Mary- You poor thing, I'm sure things will be fine soon. And ur hubby will be home soon too. Hope chocolates cheered u up. Looking forward to meeting you & princess Izzy

Feeb- I have to change Jonathan's nappy as well, have to buy infant ones too Looking forward to meeting u & gorgeous Jacob

Missy- Sorry that they had to close shop. Ur right more time with liam. Hope u both feel better soon.

Tenny- Glad everything went well sweety.

(SW where are you.... ... hehehe)
I'm only an sms away, babe! You know that Just not posting here much because I'm over the site frequently having problems!!

    Quick update:
Alyssa has put on close to 1kg since leaving the hospital, so she's doing FAB on breast milk! Currently has terrible milk rash, but obviously we don't care because it doesn't last long, doesn't bother her and we still think she's just the most gorgeous thing! We've not got a vaporiser in her room and it helps IMMENSELY with the snotty nose thing - if anyone is spending hours with a screaming baby who hates the fess drops and aspirator, I recommend a vaporiser... It changed her sleeping from 1 hr to 3 or 4 hours without a snotty nose. Brilliant.

Oh, and we also learned not to leave the house without a change of clothes for Alyssa (and as it turned out, also for me!!!). Figures that the one time I did go somewhere without the spare clothes and she leaked runny yellow poo all over herself, the baby bjorn, her mummy, etc etc etc. I think it is the new nappies from a well known brand who claims that they have only changed the printing on the nappies and not the nappies themselves (although upon (not even) close inspection, the nappies shows quite a number of differences OTHER than the print!!! And we've had NO leaky nappies until we opened the new box yesterday, and 4 leaky nappies since then - be they wet or dirty!).

ok - enough for me! Grand Designs time! My fave TV show =))))

Hey SW good to see you back! Yay for Alyssa putting on a kg!
If the nappies you are having problems with are huggies, I have noticed a few people have posted threads re: problems with huggies in the last few days:
    https://www.bellybelly.com.au/forums...ring-them.html
    https://www.bellybelly.com.au/forums...d-huggies.html
the aldi nappies get a good rap if that helps!
everyone else, got to run the Bear is making roast pork for dinner :droooool:

Tenny - no DTD here!!! My tummy is still wayyyy too sore to be thinking about that, and besides - too tired in this house to even think about doing anything like that!!! That takes energy...hehe

Thanks for the reminder about the 6 week check up - better ring and see about that...

And thanks to the girls from the August thread for reminding me that Mehkelti is one month old today - woohoo!!!!

    Alright... back to nappy shopping

    Hello

Thanks to all who are so supportive of the new mummy (ME). I know that it will get better which is what is keeping me going at the moment, just can't wait till my DH comes home to give me that break. On the positive note Izzy has been giving me lots of coos and even a laugh today which was just precious.

Zee - Oh hun good luck with your dentist apt on Monday I'm sure you will have the best looking teeth in town.

Tenny - Yep we have DTD about 4 weeks after giving birth as I felt ready, I thought that it might hurt cause of the c-section but it was all good, haven't done it since as I have been so exhausted When your ready I'm sure that it will happen no rush though.

Pixie - Love the pics of Beth she is cute.

Missy - Sorry about your job but on the up side you spend more time with Liam. Hope you get better too from your cold I think I'm coming down with one too which I'm not happy about. Sending you lots of

Zee - why leave your claim for the baby bonus? It's not taxable so you may as well get the claim in before the benefit is means tested.

DTD? - isn't that how we got ourselves into this mess in the first place?
