Tannis I agree with skittlebub it is true what she says. The babies dont do anything. SO why do we have to bath them every day. I only bath 2 days - 4 if im lazy...lol... and only wipe him down with a face washer if he has chucked to much or done lots of poo's. Now Callum on the other hand, he is a grot so have to bath him most days. If its been raining and he hasnt been outside Ill most likely just give him a face, hands, butt wash.

Well all cant wait to see ya all (syd ladies) Oh and its going to be 25 today. How wonderful. Love these days!!

Hi to you other ladies and hope you all have a great day!!

I 100% agree too, they don't do anything to get dirty other than chuck and poo. My SIL made me feel like I was real grotty for not bathing everyday! Jayden gets baths every day (unless he falls asleep too early) because he get filthy during the day if we have been out.

Rach: Beth went ok with a bottle then? Thats good when they can take both bottle and breast.

Since Jayden is walking again I am going to send him to FDC today instead of yesterday so I can get all my shopping done quickly. I have a LC appt at 12.30pm so fingers crossed Ash has gained lots of weight, not too confident that she has. Yesterday she was taking only 1 side most of the day when usually she has 2, but in saying that I put her on a couple of times only an hr or so after a feed so I was probably just topping her up all day. I fed her at 9pm, she slept though until 7am this morning but I did give her a feed at 12.30am, only on 1 side though and for once she stayed asleep for it (usually I have to wake her up otherwise she doesn't feed). Well I will probably be out most of the day and most of you girls will be too I guess with the meet ups.....Can't wait til we meet up Mel!

    Have a great day everyone

    Hello hunny bunnys..

Hope all have fun at the meet ups today - TAN COME AND VISIT ME!!!!! (and SW - get your ar$e in gear and come visit me too... )

Re the bathing - M gets a bath every second night. I wipe her nudie rudie bits with a wipe when changing nappy though - if she has just done a wee that is - of course I use a wipe when she has done a poo...pmsl...

Tan - yup just let me know what day - when exactly are you coming down I can't remember........ Good luck today at LC appointment (guess what - I got 9ml this morning!!) Good that J is back to normal - weird toddlers huh..

Tenny - I (for some reason) don't think you know how very gorgeous you are my love...

We do the same with bathing Hayden. It's every 2 - 3 days. I can't believe she'd say things like that. Geez. It's hard with another kiddie running around as it is.

Tan - Good luck with your appt today. I'm glad Jayden's foot is better.

    Mel -

Have a great day at your meetups Chicks and The Bear!
Don't forget photos for the rest of us.

I uploaded a couple of photos of the cheeky bubbablue.

    Morning girls
Annabelle gets one or 2 baths a week and has a shower with her dad on the other nights. It's more a bedtime ritual thing than a washing thing. It tells her we mean business and that bed time is soon.

Re bed time, what time are you girls putting your bubs down for the night and how many/how long naps are they having. Belle is 8 wks old and her sleeping has evolved quite a bit over the last couple of weeks, but I was wondering what everyone else's bubs were doing. We generally start the bedtime ritual at 7:30ish and hopefully she's in bed by 8:30 and she will feed either once or twice in the night. She has 3 or 4 naps a day, depending on how long they are. We try to do the feed/wake/sleep thing, but if she only sleeps for one sleep cycle it becomes feed/wake/sleep/wake/feed/sleep.

Belle honey sorry to hear you and Julia are sick... shame you couldn't make it. Hope you both feel better soon
Kel, Kristy, Missy & Zee great to see you and all of your babies, they are all very cute! We took some nice photos which I will get the Bear to post for me later on.
Re: the bath thing, we try to give her one every day but it's mainly because I like giving her a bath! She likes it too, and we are trying to have a consistent bedtime routine, especially when she is unsettled, like she has been since being sick. But if I don't have time or can't be bothered then I just don't worry about it - like you said it's not like she's actually dirty!
Tan - Beth is such a little piggy she doesn't care = bottle or boobie! Glad to hear Jayden is better.
Mel - you're such a star I saw what you posted re: the expressing! it's really starting to work for you now, good on you.
Tenny - gorgeous pics! too cute.
skittle, pmc and the melbourne girls - shame we couldn't all get together but it was nice to finally meet some of the BB girls!

I hope all the Syd mummy's & bubs had a great catch up today too can't wait to see the pics.

    Hello!
Just a quick pop in while Jess is eating.. running late tonight with routine.

Tannis.. yeh Keira is only bathed every 3rd day atm. We did the same with Jesse at this age and was recommended to by the midwives as its quite cold this time of year and they dont really need it as theyre not running around and getting dirty or sweaty. Just top and tail if need be. Now, yes, Jesse is showered or bathed everyday usually without fail or for some reason like when he was sick and didnt want to move etc cos he just smells lol. Meeh to your SIL.. each to their own i guess! Hehe yeh i kinda plan Keira's day around the aftenoon sleep and also evening feed. Just because when i put Jesse to bed i have to lay in his big bed with him for him to stay in there and need her to be asleep also for me to do that. Yep Jesse. Very strange hey. Who knows they may have pulled a muscle or something and were just favouring it? Then when they actually went to walk on it it was fine? Glad hes ok though!

    Tenny.. gorgeous photos hun!

Belle.. sorry youre sick. hope you get better soon!

Pam.. ive kinda started a routine with Keira. Never had one with Jesse just went on his lead, but now im just too tired to sit up so late and wait for her last feed. Shes fed roughly every 3-4 hours during the day. But i work it out so that her last feed is between 9-10pm. She then sleeps through until roughly 6.30am. Re how many sleeps.. she usually just sleeps during her feeds.

Melb girls.. love the photos!! Looks like you had a great time!

Syd girls.. thanks for a lovely day!! Was great seeing everyone and their bubs! All the babies were just gorgeous! And all the older kids were soo good! Cant wait to see the photos!

Oh and as for Liam sleeping, eating and awake time we are all over the place at the moment but he is sleeping for about 1-3hrs at a time and up for say 45mins-1 1/2hrs and feeds for about 1/2hr -45mins. He is having 5 - 6 bottles in a 24hr day. I think they are to young to really have a routine.

Missy - I have added a comment on who is who at the Melb Meeting.

Bear - Love the photos looks like you all had a wonderful time.

Mel - I'm watching Top Models too lol. Yeah our little one is asleep too she had a big day today meeting her new friends.

Skittlebub - Well done on the weight gain, that's wonderful.

We really don't have a routine with Izzy yet, I think that will happen when she understands a little better. I don't tend to wake her after her 4:30 or 5:30pm feed and wait till she wakes, but I do wake her during the day.
