Belle - HAPPY BIRTHDAY JULIA!! I hope she has a fantastic day.

Feeb - I hope he hasn't gotten it. Fingers crossed for you.
I get coldsores occasionally, but I'm lucky DS1 hasn't ever had one and hopefully never will, and same with DS2. Grr @ your MIL. Why can't grandparents ever listen. It's like they're know-it-alls and they raised their children perfect.

Tasia - Good luck with the appointment. I hope it goes well.

Missy - Wanna come and fix my garden? :P I'm lazy. Great to hear your front yard look awesome.

Mez - Great to hear Izzy is sleeping better. How's she going with the change to her cot? I'm hoping Haydie goes ok when we change him over to his cot, even though he'll still be in our room. We haven't even got the cot out of the box yet. I can't wait to put it up in our new house.

Things are pretty good here with Haydie. We were out most of the weekend and he was so good. He slept alot of the time or just looked around. On the other hand, DS2 was all attitude. I also almost made it on time yesterday. Yippeee! I'm getting better with it. Lololol. It's funny that you get excited about little things like that nowdays.

DP and I decided to change when Hayd has his last bottle for the night, and it worked great. Instead of having his last bottle at 11:30pm/midnight. It's been at 9:30pm/10pm. He still wakes up sometime between 6:30am and 8am, but he's getting more hours in.
Before we changed it, I was starting to have to wake up him for a feed so it's worked well. Even though he's been sleeping through the night for ages and ages, this is the first time I've felt like I'm actually rested, if you know what I mean. I hope everyone elses bubbas are sleeping well/better.

I'll bbl. Have a fabulous day!

    Happy bithday Julia!!!

Belle - hope you guys are all feeling better - sucks to be unwell.

Feeb - wow. I seriously can't believe the stupidity and selfishness of some people! My parents both get cold sores, and they know that if they have one (or have had recently) that they need to stay well away from the babies (and preferably the mums!!), and any other contact (ie, with dad or other people in the room who may contact the baby) MUST be washed THOROUGHLY.

Anastasia - I know you mean well and are trying to make Feeb feel better, however seeing that she works in the medical field I'd defer to her knowledge. The herpes virus is extremely contagious and never goes away. You can manage it, but not cure it. You don't want people spreading it.

Hope everyone had a great weekend! We spent Sunday looking at sustainable houses and feeling depressed that to put all of the sustainability features into our house that we would like to is going to cost approx $1.5 million to build it (not including the land - we already own that!!). It sucks having to pick and choose and compromise on doing the right thing for the environment!!

    waves to all...
