    Hey girls/guy

Hope you all had a good weekend. It was MIL's bday today so we have been out most of the day but came home for J to have a sleep then back out for dinner which was nice!

I think J might have given up his dummy finally, I have to take a pic of his dummy...it is so disgustingly broken and yuck! He has finally worked out that its yuck! I should be staying home tomorrow so should be able to catch up then....I'm so tired now I can't even stay up for A's next feed at 1am (she'll sleep through it anyway).

    Morning all lovely mummy's

Well we had another lovely night with Isabel. She went down at 7pm woke at 11:45pm then after her feed didn't wake till 5am woohoo.. I think that she is getting it finally.. Oh and I have put her in her cot now for her morning sleep I want her to get use to sleeping in her room and cot not the cradle.

This morning I got a couple of laughs from Izzy it was so cute, I just wanted to eat her I was so proud

Belle - HAPPY BIRTHDAY JULIA I hope she has a lovely day today and I did see they photos on facebook she looked adorable. Love the cake! Hope you are both feeling better now.

Tannis - I'm so jealous that Ashlea sleeps through the night, I can't wait till Izzy does that! Sounds like you had a lovely weekend, and woohoo on J getting rid of the dummy

A big hello to Mel, Kell, Zee, Pixie & Bear, Jess, Feeb, Missy, Skittlebub and everyone else that I may have missed.

    Happy Birthday Julia!!!!

Tannis - Yay on J giving up the dummy, my niece ended up throwing her own one in the bin after she'd chewed it to death, then didnt ask for another one.

Melb girls - are all of you in the west?

Missy - OMG you mentioned chocolate!!!! I had to go make a hot choc coz I had no chocolate in the pantry Well done on getting a lot done in the garden. DF is hopeless with the garden and all he has to do is mow out the back & pull out weeds from the rocks out the front

Ayapi - I agree 7 weeks has flown!

Pixie - OMG tell me about the overstimulating, I had a linen party at my place yesterday & Id finally gotten DD to sleep coz she'd be awake for 5 1/2 hours and was overtired. Then my sister woke her up to "play" I could have killed her. It then took another 2 hours to get her back to sleep

Hello to everyone else I missed

We were supposed to get photos done at pixie photos today but Ive moved them to 2 weeks time coz we had a big weekend & DD is still recovering. Friday night she slept from 730 - 11pm, then was awake from 11pm - 6am, then slept from 6am-930am. Then we went to Ravens surprise baby shower on Saturday, MIL's for dinner and yesterday I had a linen party and the last people left at dinner time. Then last night she slept from 6pm -10pm had a feed and she was still wide awake so we had a warm bath and she didnt go to sleep until 330am and that was in our bed because she screamed everyime she was put in the bassinette.
But Im not too worried about the pixie photos coz I had pics done a couple of weeks ago by a lovley BB member.

I have to bake some cupcakes at some point today because we have our antenatal class reunion tonight which will be interesting to see how many people go because noone stayed in contact with anyone else but we got on really well with 2 of the ther couples so I have gotten them something small.

    Morning all

Today I have an appointment with AMES employment (don't know why) but will find out. Then going to my sister's house so she can put colour in my hair. Oh my sister just rang now she can't do my hair today cause she has a migrane, so she will do it 2m.

Mary- That's great that u are putting Izzy in the cot, good on u. Awwww how cute that she laughed for u

    Belle- HAPPY BIRTHDAY JULIA.

Skittlebub- I hate it when they wake bubs up, let the baby sleep man. My MIL she always does it, everytime she sees Jonathan she says-" Hello Jonathan, u sleeping wake up so we can see u, Jonathan, Jonathan, Jonathan." I swear I feel like killing her. While she's calling out his name she plays with his cheecks & I'm looking at her like leave him alone he is sleeping. Wow u did have a big weekened. Have fun tonight at the reunion.

Feeb- MIL I'm telling u they think they know it all. Ignore her I do with my MIL, I can't stand her.

Belle - HAPPY BIRTHDAY JULIA!! I hope she has a fantastic day.

Feeb - I hope he hasn't gotten it. Fingers crossed for you.
I get coldsores occasionally, but I'm lucky DS1 hasn't ever had one and hopefully never will, and same with DS2. Grr @ your MIL. Why can't grandparents ever listen. It's like they're know-it-alls and they raised their children perfect.

Tasia - Good luck with the appointment. I hope it goes well.

Missy - Wanna come and fix my garden? :P I'm lazy. Great to hear your front yard look awesome.

Mez - Great to hear Izzy is sleeping better. How's she going with the change to her cot? I'm hoping Haydie goes ok when we change him over to his cot, even though he'll still be in our room. We haven't even got the cot out of the box yet. I can't wait to put it up in our new house.

Things are pretty good here with Haydie. We were out most of the weekend and he was so good. He slept alot of the time or just looked around. On the other hand, DS2 was all attitude. I also almost made it on time yesterday. Yippeee! I'm getting better with it. Lololol. It's funny that you get excited about little things like that nowdays.

DP and I decided to change when Hayd has his last bottle for the night, and it worked great. Instead of having his last bottle at 11:30pm/midnight. It's been at 9:30pm/10pm. He still wakes up sometime between 6:30am and 8am, but he's getting more hours in.
Before we changed it, I was starting to have to wake up him for a feed so it's worked well. Even though he's been sleeping through the night for ages and ages, this is the first time I've felt like I'm actually rested, if you know what I mean. I hope everyone elses bubbas are sleeping well/better.

I'll bbl. Have a fabulous day!

    Happy bithday Julia!!!

Belle - hope you guys are all feeling better - sucks to be unwell.

Feeb - wow. I seriously can't believe the stupidity and selfishness of some people! My parents both get cold sores, and they know that if they have one (or have had recently) that they need to stay well away from the babies (and preferably the mums!!), and any other contact (ie, with dad or other people in the room who may contact the baby) MUST be washed THOROUGHLY.

Anastasia - I know you mean well and are trying to make Feeb feel better, however seeing that she works in the medical field I'd defer to her knowledge. The herpes virus is extremely contagious and never goes away. You can manage it, but not cure it. You don't want people spreading it.

Hope everyone had a great weekend! We spent Sunday looking at sustainable houses and feeling depressed that to put all of the sustainability features into our house that we would like to is going to cost approx $1.5 million to build it (not including the land - we already own that!!). It sucks having to pick and choose and compromise on doing the right thing for the environment!!

    waves to all...

mez - once a month sounds great. I had a really nice time last week. hey maybe we could go somewhere in between us next time. or make it once in every four meet ups that you guys come my side of town.

Hey everyone!! oh crap, Georgia has decided it is feed time, typical as soon as i sit down. it seems like that is all she is doing this last week. she is definitely having a growth spurt. we weigh her on Thursday so it will be very interesting to see what she is up too. I can see it on her little legs, she is finally starting to get some chubbiness to her. ok well I'll be back on when DH gets home to chat with you all. hope your day is going well.

    everyone!
Don't think I can catch up on all the personals, but wanted to quickly say

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY JULIA

Went out to buy clothes with my stepmother today, it was fun, just bought cheap basic stuff, but summer things that will fit over my BBs and that I can easily breastfeed in. Didn't spend much either so it was a big winner. And we are going out tonight for our first night out without Beth. My stepmother and baby sister are babysitting, I think they are more excited than we are.
sorry no personals atm but hi to SW, JK, skittle, tasia, tenny, feeb, mez, tan and everyone!

Feeb - Did your MIL kiss Jacob? I do believe that you can only get a cold sore (herpes) if you have physical contact eg: kissing, or using the same cups.

Jess - I'm happy for us to meet up 1/2 way between or even come your way. But I would like to keep it going it will be nice to have our own little Mothers group lol.

    hi again,

feeb, I hope that Jacob is ok. I would be really peeved at my MIL if she did something like that. I think I would be more annoyed at my hubby though. It seems yours likes to back him mummy up a bit too much.... he should be p*ssed at the idea of Jacob getting coldsores too.

Mel - hey there, I know what you mean about them being unsettled when they are over tired. you just wish they would understand that if they just closed their pretty little eyes and relaxed they would feel soooo much better, but the more tired they get the less they will let themselves sleep. ironic really.

Pixie, I totally get it on the boobies thing... argh it is sooo frustrating. my stomach is nearly all gone but these pesky boobs are making it impossible for me to do any of my nice tops up, or even zip jackets up etc. soooo annoying. I am going to have to go by some t-shirts and tops too. only problem is that we are on the one income budget now, so the extra clothes aren't really in the picture, but what can I do, I can't wear nothing...

Mez - Agreed, I really want to keep them going too. Hey, are you going to the show this year, with it being just down the road and all. I haven't been in about 15 years i reckon. will probably take Georgia next year or the year after.

    Hi all

Awwww had my little mans needles today

All was fine he did cry with the first one then screamed with the second. It was so sad. I felt so sorry for him. He was asleep but I woke him as I didnt want him being woken by needles. Poor little fella. So we get home and he went straight to bed, slept for about 45 mins then woke up screaming. I gave him some panadol but untill that worked he was screaming. Every time he moved this legs. He has abit slight temp but not to bad. Melissa was just holding him for about 1hr as I had to cook dinner and bath Callum, Matt at Dancing. I hate seeing him this way. I cant do anything for him and it sux.

DH had a sicky today. I wanted the back yard started on. Kell, Kristy and I are thinking of taking turns in having a get together at each others house but cant untill my back yard it fixed up. So We are doing that now. Everything was put to a stop when we were doing Melissa room. Now that is done we have to do the yards. The front looks cute, Our house looks like a cottage now.

Ok all better head off and get Callum into bed. I can hear him giving Melissa hell. I have the 6 week check up with the pedi tomorrow, abit late I know but this was the earlist I could get in.

    Ok take care
