LOL - no need for that. I knew I'd (probably) have a kid with eczema before we ever decided to try. It's so strong through DHs family. It usually shows up around 3 months or so in breast fed babies, so we haven't had any problems yet. We're still treating her s though she were an eczema baby though. Prevention is always better than cure.
Just saying why eczema isn't simple. Unless you've experienced it, it's easy to assume it's just a little dry skin. DH has some awful scarring from when the itching just won't subside no matter what - and that will never fade. It's a LOT of fuss to ensure he never gets bad enough for that level of itching, it's going to be a lot of fuss to ensure Alyssa never gets there. It's just not "simple".
