As i have already said.. i meant it in terms of with eczma there are treatments for it and am hoping its not some sort of infection that may be alot more serious. I just dont need a lecture about something where i was merely showing sympathy to and was directed to another member.

I guess i'm not entitled to express my opinions then. No probs...

BTW - having spent a few years as a lecturer - that wasn't even close to a lecture. Let me know when you have three hours to listen to an in depth analysis of it and I'll give you a lecture.

I wasn't downplaying the severity of Mehkelti's rash - Mel knows that. I was merely correcting an omission of facts.

Tenny.. we dont have pets but do you mean the fur or your pets destroying them?
    He doesn't destroy them.. yet.
I look after my sisters dog during the day. I don't have to but I do and Elijah loves to play with him, etc etc. He's like just over 1. When hayden was first born he was a bit lost but never took his clothes, or anything. He was just curious.
Now 10 weeks on Billy is taking wondersuits, or socks, or anything that I may have in the basket part under the basinette.
I really don't know why he's started this. He's interested in Hayden. He thinks Hayden will play with him sometimes, I reckon. Lol.
Maybe he's just obsessed. I have no idea. Anyone else got any ideas why this may be happening?

Mel - Omg. I had a screaming baby like that yesterday. It's such a nightmare especially when it's hot. Today I've got the normal Hayden back. Thank god! I hope the little miss goes to sleep soon and sleeps for a while & doesn't wake DS up.

Tenny - pmsl - maybe he wants to play dress ups....lol

nah bein serious now - my beagle does this when she wants attention. could be the same? they feel threatened and act out - just like toddlers!!!

    hope he doesn't destroy them!!!

    Dressups.

I guess it is attention seeking, hey.
So far so good with not destroying them. It makes me so angry though.

I've been so suprised lately at the way Elijah has been with having Hayden around.
He's really really good with Hayden. Kisses & cuddles and everything. You know how some children try and do things to the baby cause they're jealous? I was thinking Elijah was going to be like that, but not one little bit.

    ( and YAY! I've reached 1,000 posts. What a coolcat, I am. jkjk. I'm such a forum freak. )

Tenny.. hmm id say hes taking it because of Hayden's smell on them. Maybe its like a new toy to him? new smell = new toy? But yeh maybe what Mel said.. because Haydens getting this attention, the dog may think if he takes all the clothes (the smell of that "new" thing) it will get rid of the baby iykwim? How cute of Elijah! I was the same, thinking Jesse would get jealous.. but hes nothing but gentle with Keira. Its so lovely to see hey. Makes your heart melt.

Seriosly - this goes out to all the babies in the world - if your mummy knows you are tired and is rocking you - GO TO SLEEP!!!!!
ROFL love it, my baby keeps knocking the dummy out of her mouth and waking up and I can tell she is just exhausted!
Phew - what a day - where did it go! We had Beth's 6-8 week appointment this morning.... she is 5kg, length 57cm, head circ 39.2cm and just under 75th percentile.
And I also got a copy of her discharge letter from RPA, which I never got a copy of before (we should have got a copy, obviously it just slipped through the cracks). It was good to have that because it says she only had 'mild respiratory distress' and that she had good respiratory effort at 7 minutes... I was happy about that because from what the Bear said I thought she didn't try to breathe for like 45 minutes.
Went out shopping with my stepmum and baby sister, which was fun and managed to get one load of washing on but the weather is crap so my sheets won't be going on the line today!
Tenny LOL at your dog stealing the clothes and playing dressups! PMSL
bugger it, where did the wave smilie go? now I can't wave at everyone I missed with personals, so to everyone I missed -

Mel: I had a great time and loved meeting your beautiful family! How did the itti bitti wash up? LOL I did feel your pain when A went into the water with it PSML!! Great to hear its not the measles!! Although eczema I'm sure would be a PITA least its not as serious as what measles could be, esp in such a young baby...so do you think it is eczema? Hows your dog too? I have photoshop, I can resize the pics and post them. Crayons not only taste great but also look great on tiles, tables and windows!

Belle: I love your new haircut....I'm not so sure about mine, I have to straighten it and wear makeup otherwise it doesn't look right.....and I have all the time in the world to do that every morning LOL

Tenny: Thats great Elijah is back to his usual self...Jayden is a ratbag whether he is sick or not LOL. We haven't had any trouble with the pets, but they are all outside these days so they haven't got the oppertunity to go near A's clothes, I think it could be an attention thing too maybe. I have been surprised over J too how good and mostly gentle with A, he is a real mummy's boy and hated me even looking at another baby (he pushed a little girl off my knee on xmas day). Thats great Elijah loves his little brother!

Tasia: Hope you are feeling better!

Mez: Hows Izzy going in her cot? Have you got a monitor in there? Hows Izzy's rash, did you find out what to use? QV wash and moisturisers are great for babies skin, I used something else for Jayden it started with C, can't remember though but it was great!

Kell: I have the super thin muslin wraps....I love them! I usually only use it after A's dream feed at midnight but I tried her today at midday to make her sleep longer and I got 3.5hrs out of her! Not sure if it was coincidence or because of the wrap. We haven't got a mobile yet and Jayden had a star lightshow thing which he loved. I got the Gossemar Kidsline cot sheet set, doona etc so I want to get the matching mobile or something with butterflies.

SW: GL with not swaddling...I can see how they can be dangerous but I do know a few ppl that wrapped their babies until 6mths or more....not sure what we will do, play it by ear I guess. Jayden was never swaddled, he hated it and alway escaped.

Rach: Aww denim dress!!! How cute! OMG on the walk....10kms is more than enough!

Missy: Woohoo on the fence! Hope the sunburn has eased a bit...I used to get so burnt a few yrs ago that I couldn't walk! I try not to get that burnt anymore. We are TT'ing here too, you wouldn't believe the amount of wee I had to clean up today...my fault I should have been paying attention. J is going great guns with it too but no poo's yet (well 1 a while ago), he is also insisting on going to the big toilet which surprises me as last week he had no interest in either toilet or potty!

As I have already said we had a great time with Mel and her family! We had gone down there for my nephew's 1st bday which was really good too and the resort we stayed in OMG!! It was nice. We got the main bedroom which had a king size bed, huge WIR, huge ensuite with a cnr spa (which I enjoyed immensely!!). The pools were gorgeous (not that I went in), the lagoon pool was the best but it wasn't heated and way way too cold for me!! Sunday we went shopping for a few hours which was great as we don't have as many shops in Bundy, and I left Chris and Jayden at his sisters so no whinging boys to deal with. Ash was great while we were out, just slept most of the time except when she had a shop assistant in Myer admiring her she woke and was just being cute as ever haha She got whingy toward the end cause she was hungry. We left the sunny coast I think just before 4pm and both kids slept the entire 3hr trip home!

Well this post is long enough....better clean up and go to bed
