OH MEL!!! I am so jealous! I wish Chris would think its unfair that i have them all week and its his turn to take over! Sounds great if he can entertain the boys though! My SIL said the pool area at the resort we are staying at is really good for their age group too....i think there is a playground there. I will check it out and let you know though.

Zee - I hope you're feeling better today, sweet. Very lucky to have EBM in the fridge for your little man. I hope your DH has been taking good care of you.

Mel - I hope you have a nice relaxing day ( minus the cleaning ) while DS is at daycare. What a great DH you have to go with you and look after the boys while you meet Tan. Alot of men wouldn't even think like that. That's awesome!!!

Kell - Gorgeous picture! She's a stunner and that outfit is soooo cute!

Kristy - I hope everything went alright at the doctors and your little man is alright. Fingers crossed if it is conjunctivitis that he doesn't spread it to the bubbaboys and you guys.

Pixie - Enjoy your lunch with your dad and stepmum. I wish I could meet us with them too. Everyone is meeting everyone.

Today has been pretty good so far. The little mister and I watched a movie together. Well, I watched it. He watch me and made his little talking noises and smiled at me.

Hope the bubbas are behaving today.
    xoxo

    Afternoon all

Today has been a big day, went into the city via train which was great, Isabel loved it she was such a good girl. I went to Southbank to visit my workplace and show of our little princess. Everyone just loved her and said that she looks like her mummy Awww. I dressed her up in this gorgeous little dress I love when I can do that it's not very often that I do it cause we are home most of the time. I will post a pic so you can all see how cute she looked.

Zee - Oh hun I hope you get better soon and that your DH is looking after you and the kids.

Mel - I hope you had a good day cleaning your house, how is your little princess going. Good to hear that A went to daycare, I'm sure he had a great time.

Tenny - Your lucky to be able to watch a movie, our one doesn't let us do that she either wakes or wants our attention.

Pixie - I hope you had a lovely time with your dad and stepmum. So glad that you had another good night.

Tannis - How are you sweet, how is your beautiful girl doing?

Kell - Love the photo of Keira she looks gorgeous in her outfit, you're going to have to keep the boys at a distance lol.

Well DH is coming home today from Queensland so I better start on dinner, especially now that my little princess is FINALLY asleep. She got over tired today cause of the outing and was very upset and unsettled.

BBL hopefully to upload my pic of Isabel.

I'll try to come back later....I have kids to bath, shopping to put away, washing to do and a kitchen to clean....apparently Chris' butt is glued to the recliner! Doesn't always pay to have a day of self indulgence

Hmmm... maybe someone DOES need a mellie slappin......

    Mez - she's gorgeous!!!

Kel - You breed nice healthy kids - you should be very proud of yourself!!! (I was proud when DS weighed in at 12.5kg on Tuesday cos he had been at 11.5 for soooo long.. )

Tenny - thats so cute that he was watching you watching the movie!!! Miss M was watching me hang the nappies on the clothes horse today - and then watched as I separated the nappies into their piles... then she cracked it cos she got overtired.. guess I'm just toooo much stimulation for her.. pmsl...

Pixie chick - its not too late to jump on a plane and meet up with us.. but grab SW on your way huh... LOL

All is peaceful here .... everyone has had dinner.. Miss M is sleeping.... Master A is watching Elmo.... (or "mo mo" as he calls it..) and DH has gone down the street (not for junk food unfortunately... )

i won't complain though - 4 days on diet and 2kgs lost already.. me no complain...

    Hi girls

Sorry havent been back online been flat out with the two girls Havent had time to read either.

Tara had her PAED checkup, things are so so. The good news is she is 55cm long and head circ now 38cm all going well and average on the baby graph, the not so good news is her weight, sheis on the 25% percentile, this worries me, I demand feed her my supply is good enough too yet she is not gaining as much as others, my PAED says its ok for time being, just watch and see what happens.
The other news is she has a flat head on the side she always sleeps on and feeds on. So I have to make sure I elevate her shoulder a bit every 2nd sleep so she sleeps with her head to the other side and also feed her facing different ways, she has only fed facing one way since birth heat she didnt attach properly. If it doesnt improve in 3 months have to see a physio. Also her stork marks havent faded on her forehead, the PAED says its no harm just a feature on face if its still there in few months we can see a dermatologist and talk about lasering it off, no way I say apparently its done under general anesthetic. So thats my news for the time being. Its a bit depressing so ive been laying low at home trying to cheer up and enjoy being with the girls instead of falling in the depression rut again.

Zee im so sorry to hear you are sick, sounds like you have what I had its awfu.l. I had it for 10 de she ays, 3 days of it at its worst like you are saying so keep well hon stay in bed as much as you can and keep your fluids

Feeb - honey I hate seeing you go through this pain with the midwife/health nurse and the weight gain of Jacob she sounds not supportive at all for your feelings and how worried it makes you. Can you switch nurses? I think I told you before but I had the same issues with Julia, I was beside myself, she hardly gained any weight at all from 3 weeks - 6 weeks 40g if that. The health nurse made me feel so so so bad, I had tresillian visit me and try and help, they couldnt help so I saw a LC and we monitored my supply for 3 days expressing only (turned out my supply was so low in the afternoon and night so they recommended topping up with formula because there was no weight gain with Julia for so long. So I topped her up with formula lunchtime and last feed of the day. Im not sure if you mentioned but is your supply ok or is it just his metabolism putting on weight slowly? can you see a PAED and get their advice on the weight issue?

Hello to everyone, I will have to read and then post more later. promise!

    Well duh....

Belle - you're doing a great job - don't worry too much about not doing personals - I don't take it personally that you don't address me every time you post - just say g'day from time to time I'm sure Miss M is going to get a flat head, cos she favours one side over the other. Have to get her into the baby chiro guy we took Master A to....

Ahhhhhhh both kids asleep (Master A took a bump to his head thanks to daddy putting his head into the cupboard door, his screaming woke Miss M - always lovely!!!) Sucks having a small house - one kid screaming ALWAYS wakes the other one..

Feeb and Belle - looking through the ABA forums, there's a bunch of people recommending "Milk Cookies"

The recipe is available on the ABA forums, but basically it is a standard choc chip cookie recipe with added oats, linseed meal and brewer's yeast. The linseed needs to be linseed meal or you will need to grind them somehow if you just buy whole seeds. I was having severe problems last weekend (after a stressful day from taking my baby leopard to the vet!!) and made a batch. Not sure if it is the cookies or just me, but my supply picked up significantly by the next day. If nothing else, it's a GREAT excuse to eat choc chip cookies!!!

    Love ya too, Mel

    waves to all!

careful what you wish for it might happen one day! and good on you for going so well with your diet! you're kicking it!
Mez, your little girl is very cute...
    Kel, 6 kilos! wow!
Belle & Zee, hope you are both feeling better
SW hope it's all going well in our nation's capital
feeb GL hope your supply picks up again
well it's been a bit of an odd day.... we had a pretty ok lunch with my folks... but we were in a pub and some weird chick grabbed my baby and cuddled her when I had literally taken her off the boob only seconds before. She was going on and on about how she loves babies etc. anyhoo, after that I insisted on going to the parent's room in the shopping centre instead. I've got pretty blase about feeding in public but in the pub was pretty uncomfortable. The Bear took Beth for a big walk in the stroller and they had a great time, she was grinning from ear to ear when they got back. She's been very unsettled since her five oclock feed though, not sure if it's wind or if I overfed her again.... she has been lying in bed sucking her dummy and listening to Bob Marley for over an hour and just won't drop off.
Mothers group tomorrow so that should be fun... other than that, not much to report...
to anyone I missed with personals have a great night

Belle - and you're doing a fantastic job.

Mez - She's such a cutie pie! I'm glad you had a great day.

Mel - YAY! Great job with losing 2kg. Wanna lose mine too? I've actually been eating pretty decent lately and going for walks in the arvo. I'm trying to get my lazy ass up and doing stuff.

Kell - Wow. Growing fastttttttt and getting more gorgeous too.

I'm feeling a bit sorry for myself tonight. (Lol. Nothing new about that.)
It's hard to explain. It's like people treat me different, or talk down to me, speak to me as if I'm still this young kid that doesn't know anything... then they're quick to ask me to do things for them, like pick them up and drive them somewhere. They won't take no answer, or when I say I have things to do it's like that's never good enough and they still expect me to go pick them up. I know I have trouble saying no alot of the time, but you'd think me having a baby now aswell would make them think twice and give me a break.
I know I shouldn't let it get to me, or take it to heart cause I've had this cr@p for years, but it wears me down and builds up.
It doesn't help that when I try to tell my twin sister about it she doesn't understand it all cause it doesn't happen to her.
DP never fully got it, until he actually saw it happen... so it's not just in my head.
I don't know if this makes sense. I'm sorry.

    xx

She was feeling sore and sorry for herself after getting stung by a bee - but seemed to have forgotten about it by the time we got home and there were flies in the house to chase!

She catches flies by clapping her front paws together - and this time she got a bee, and it got her!

Right as rain now =) Banned from going outside for the rest of spring! And milk supply is back to normal. Milk cookies didn't help DH with his supply though
