Morning yummy mummies - hope everyone had a good night. DD was only up once at about 2.30 and then again at 6.30. You guys are lucky getting a sleep through!
Hey Kel - big winner on the pawpaw ointment. Been using it since yesterday and the bottom is looking fine.
Mel I'm loving the $5 baby clothes at the markets. Pumpkin patch clothes in perfect condition for $5! it's great, especially since she's going to grow out of them in 5 mins. I have a million and one babygros but I prefer t-shirts and pants - it's easier to change a hundred nappies a day! And she looks so cute in them. LOL
:hello: mez, zee, sw, tenny, tasia, missy, belle, skittlebub and kristy J (you're such a champ to find time to get on here with your three boys!).... hope you all have a good day
and  to anyone I may have forgotten to mention!

Morning all you lovely mummy's & babies
Well last night my mum left to go to Greece so we went to the airport to say goodbye. Had little Isabel in the baby borne and she loved it! We had a good night last night only feed her twice once at 11pm and then at 4:30am so we got some sleep woohoo..
She is currently sleeping now after her 8:00am feed. We have Parents group today at 1:30pm so that will be nice and interesting, hopefully she will be good during the couple of hours that we are there. It's also a gorgeous day here (sunny) so I think we will walk to the MCHC.
Pixie - Isn't good when the little ones sleep during the night and not need to be feed as many times. So glad that the new cream is working for her nappy rash too. Woohoo on going out shopping with your little one, it makes it easier when they are asleep the whole time and not screaming.
Zee - So good to see you again, I hope your mum was very helpful while she was visiting. I really do hope that Lucas starts sleeping for you during the night sweet. I feel for you
Kristy - Don't you hate when the site crashes. How are you and your boys doing?? I bet they are growing up quickly hey.
Tasia - HAPPY BIRTHDAY for Sunday :cheer: I bet it was a special day for you and your family.
I hope you all have a lovely day and the little ones are behaving themselves. I'll BBL xx
-
:cheer: Happy birthday Tasia for Sunday :cheer:
-
Morning me lovelies..
Kristy - I'm so impressed you can find time to get on here to do a long post!!!!!! you are amazing woman!!! And yeah, I hate it when i lose posts...
Happy birthday for Sunday Anastasia - you are just a little bit older than me :)
Mez - I hope you don't miss your mum too much!!!! I bet she will have a great time. We had similar feeding times in this house last night - although she fed at 10pm then we all went to bed, she didn't WANT to go to sleep then (silly mummy why would I think she would want to... ) so we gave her a bit more of a bottle at 11 then she crashed until 4, had a feed, then I popped her back into our bed with us - she's so lovely and warm to cuddle up to.. lol
Kel - I'm boy free today - woohoo!!!! DS is with my IL's for the day.. yayyyy... don't know whether to do stuff around the house or make the most of the peace and quiet and do NOTHING.. lol
Pixie - which size magicalls do you have? I have some smalls that leak cos they are too big for her yet - managed to find a newborn size in my stash though (dunno where i got that from!!) and that fits ok..
Well we went and got checked over again with the nurse - little miss has put on 200gm in a week... woohoo!!! way to goooo!!!! also put on 1.5cm in length so she's getting longer by the minute I think.. hehe
Hope everyone else has a good day!!!!
-
Mel I have a newborn one. haven't tried it yet but soon.... I'm sure it will be dirty within seconds of hitting her bum but what the hell.
Kristy what a PITA...... site can be up and down like a yoyo sometimes... such a bummer when you have so little time  honey
Ayapi - touch wood she is not a huge screamer atm. She could sleep standing up in a glass of cold water... I really hope that lasts! Got her up at ten to feed her - she had a little drink and conked back out again! Thinking of doing the vacuuming around her to see if that wakes her up!
-
Morning all!
Well our wonderful sleeping through baby was short lived. Put her down at 10.30pm.. she woke at 2.30am for a bottle.. then was up and down with her until 5am when DH took her and again after litterally 1 minute of holding her she crashed! Little bugger! Talk about a daddy's girl!!!!! And it was bloody freezing last night!!! Was like getting stabbed with thousands of needles each time i got up!
Mel.. oh hun i would be doing absolutely nothing!!! Enjoy it for sure!!!
Tasia.. HAPPY BIRTHDAY for Sunday!!
Mez.. sounds like everythings going really well for you! Thats great hun!
Kristy.. oh that *****s me too about this site! Happens so often! Let me know if you wanna do coffee on friday?
Pixie.. glad the Papaw is working for you! Its great for teething rash too when that time comes around ;) Oh yeh, i still had to get up that night to Jesse.
Zee.. hope you can relax somewhat now your mum is gone.
Tenny.. thats great Hayden is sleeping so well! Lets hope it doesnt change!
Missy.. YAY for Liam's great sleep!!
Have my CHN coming and doing a home visit for me this arvo. She called this morning and asked if id like her to come to me. Hell yeh! Was trying to work out how id get there on Friday with Jesse.. now no need! Gotta love her, shes the best!
-
Hey, thanx to everyone for ur wishes for my b'day :)
Mary- It could have been a better day, my hubby, dad & FIL were working on the bathroom sink as the cold water was not coming out enough, so it's all fixed now, but could have done it on another day. My hubby forgot my b'day when I got flowers for my sister as we r twins (not identical) he asked who the flowers are for I told him & he was like ooooooo sugar, but got me a cake laterrrr during the day, he must've felt bad. Mind you he still didn't say happy b'day nothing. Anyway that night he said to me wat do you want for ur b'day & I said nothing I got everything that I wanted Jonathan.
Mel- I don't look like a 32 yr old, you can judge from the birth photos :)
I went to the app before & she told me not to wake Jonathan at night (cause I have) so I'm not going to anymore only if he cries & she also said the same for during the day not to wake him again only if he cries. But he has to have 670mls in 24 hrs how does that work out?
-
Anastasia.. yeh never wake a sleeping baby at night! ;) enjoy your sleep! I tend to wake them during the day for their feed myself though, otherwise theyll wake all night wanting a feed. But yeh as for the night time.. definately only when he cries out. If he's hungry he'll let you know. That way you can start to establish him sleeping through, and knowing the difference between day and night time.
-
Kel- So If i do have to wake him during the day for feed how many hours 3 or 4?
-
It doesnt really matter, just within those times i would give him a bottle. If he looks like hes starting to stir around the 3 hour mark, then get him up and give him a bottle. Otherwise id just let him sleep to the 4 hour mark, but not really go past that. If you do then no big deal, just feed him when you notice the time. He's putting on weight isnt he? Thats all thats important. But he will let you know if hes hungry. You might find if he does sleep for a long period he'll want another feed not long after that inital one he gets when he wakes.
-
Yeah he has put on 650gms in 2 weeks. Do u wake ur little one up during the day if asleep? & how often?
-
I must be such a slack mother - I don't even really notice the time when she wants her bottles.. lol..... when I do notice, she's basically on every 2 hours during the day - and I never wake her if she goes over, I know she is putting on weight thats the main thing.
Come to think of it, I don't think I ever had to wake DS either..... ahhh.... to be blessed with a child that SLEEPS would be nice... ;)
-
Mel- LOL ur funny. I think I will give him his bottle every 4 hours during the day the last one will be at 12am & see how he goes after that without me not waking him.
-
Tasia.. yep i wake Keira during the day every 4 hours for her bottle if she doesnt wake herself. Just change her nappy, give her her bottle and then sometimes shes out again so just put her back to bed. At night after her 10.30-11ish bottle i just let her go until she wakes. Usually its around that 4 hours period.. sometimes 5 hours.
Just had my CCN visit. Keira has a small tongue tie. But shes able to still stick her tongue out a bit so shouldnt be a problem. Just need to keep an eye on it over time. But she said it may explain why my nipples got so sore so quick feeding as if they have a tongue tie they tend to suck with their lips rather their tongue. Very interesting!Shes put on roughly 600grams and her head is 3cm bigger (boofhead!) in 3.5 weeks which is good too. She also told me, i can give her a little cooled boiled water if need be (bottle fed babies only). Can help settle the wind if its a little warm. So yeh whoever was saying their friend said that, they were right. Will try that tonight if the colic relief dont work, but she said yeh that the brauer one is a good one.
-
Kel- Wat if keira is awake before her 4 hours feed would you still feed her even if she's had a bottle say at 2 0r 3 hrs ago? Jonathan is tongue tied as well but maternal nurse said it's normal & Jonathan's isn't that bad, but we were thinking when he gets a bit older we might snip it off (who knows) See how he goes..
-
Hi all!!
Jacob had mchn appt yesterday put on 225 grams in 2 weeks grew 2 cm and head 1 cm bigger. Not putting on as much weight as everyone elses baby but adequare amounts.
Today i had 6 week ob check and pap smear, Jacob was well behaved while there!!!
Losec seems to have reduced vomiting so that is good still not sleeping much but hope that comes soon!!! Hes not to bad at night but doesnt often sleep in basinet.
Anastasia happy bday for other day! rude dh for forgetting.
Kellxx hope bubs sleps throught night again for u how ace!!
Ayapi hope u dont miss your mum to much.
hello to all other mummys dadies and babies
-
Tasia - Happy birthday for Sunday. I hope you had a fantastic day! I didn't know you were a twin. I'm a twin too. We're not identical either. We feed Haydne no earlier then 3hrs, but during the day no later then 5hrs, or earlier, depending on how it works out for the late night feed. (I hope that makes sense)
Kell - YAY! @ Keira putting on weight. That's greatttttt. Yeah, it was freezing here last night too. I knew when hayden woke up he'd be coming into our bed cause it's so cold. I felt sorry for the poor little mite.
Pixie - Did you end up vacuuming while Beth slept? I had music going and vaccuming theo ther day while Hayden slept. It didn't bother him in the least. He even slept through all this building noise, like power tools and those loud things. I was like 'What a champ!!' We were never really quiet around DS1 either, so he can sleep anywhere. :D
Mel - I'd relax and just do nothing. Chill and look after yourself. Lol @ your DD getting longer by the minute.
Mez - It's great when they love the carriers. Hayden loves his too. Hope your mum has a great time
Kristy - How's things? How're you all??
Feeb - I'm glad the stuff is helping with the vomiting. Great to hear your little man was well behaved and your checkup went well.
Anyone else feeling like they've lost themselves?
Like you do everything for everyone else, and you seem to forget about you.
Anyways, I'm a bit like that at the moment but I'll snap outta it soon, I always do. Lol.
-
this question is for anyone, what if your babies wake up 2 or 3 hrs beforehand do u still feed ur baby? I mean I would if he is hungry. But is that wat everyone else is doing?
-
i feed on demand so if he clean and dry doesnt want to play, and refuses dummy i feed him. he doesnt sleep much to start with
-
Tenny, no I didn't I just swept and mopped the bathroom floor. But I think she would probably sleep through it. She fell asleep right next to Marion St in Leichhardt yesterday when the Bear and I were having lunch and didn't even blink when the buses rattled past! LOL
Tenny honey try to take some time out for yourself, it must be hard with two little boys esp if DH isn't really pulling his weight. Maybe even just a bath or a massage or something will make you feel a bit better?
Tasia I feed her every three hours or so in the day time and she goes about four hours at night if she has a really good feed (and I try to encourage her to stay awake long enough to do that). In the daytime I wake her if she is going to sleep through the feed.... but sometimes that works better than others. Sometimes she is still sleepy and doesn't have very much.
Feeb you poor thing.... sounds a bit rough!
:hello: everyone else.... we are off to my Dad's place for dinner tonight so hopefully DD will be good :)
-
Ok i'm back.
Isaac is having a nap as he has been waking through the night a fair bit. the twins seem to set him off. he goes right back to sleep after a nappy change but its just an extra pain we don't need.
i had such a great post before and now i cant remember what i wrote.
Kell- glad keira is doing well. don't worry about the tongue tie. my sister was tongue tied and now she is fine, tho she cant whistle but that could be just cause she is a little mad,:rolleyes: she also cant wink.
Friday sounds great I'mm MMS you. also why cant Breast babies have water? the CCN who came out to our place said its fine. and i'm sure loraine said on monday it was ok too. isn't that your CCN.
Anastasia- don't worry too much about feeding; jonathan will let you know if he is hungry or if something is wrong. i agree with kell only wake during the day. but if your formula feeding I wouldn't feed before 3 hours and i would try and make him waite till the 4th hour if i could and he was happy. you cant over feed breast but you can formula i was told that 6 full (formula) feeds a day is amples.
Just don't go second guessing yourself, go with your gut feeling. if you think he is hungry feed him, and if he is crying and your not sure i would feed him anyway. in the end its the end result that matters not how you got there all we need is a healthy baby. your doing an awsome job.
mel- thanks for the encouragement hon. i'm feeling great. my post natel mood swings don't kick in till i stop breast feeding, so your kind words make me feel good thanks.
how is the diet going. i start and break mine daily. i'm now down to 80.8kg. so i'm happy with that. only 8-10 to go.
Tennykins- :hug:it feels that way sometimes. if it gets too much make sure you ask for help. even if its just to get your DH to cook every night.
well its time to get ready for tea. DH is the cook here now but i'll help tonight.
take care
kristy xoxo
PS i'll be back later for a me post.:D
-
Kristy.. yeh not sure if its the same Lorraine you saw.. i know theres a few around our area. She has red tight curly hair. She said because breast milk changes its consistancy all the time and the baby's body may not distinguish the 2 and then the baby not feeding properly (or something) and all breastfed babies should drink is the breastmilk (even when dehidrated). Ive read the same on this forum somewhere too.
Anastasia.. i wouldnt feed Keira before the 3 hour mark myself. But if she wakes and is carrying on once the 3 hour mark hits then yep ill feed her then (so anywhere between the 3-4 hour mark). Over feeding will just upset their tummy. I actually asked the CHN today about giving Keira more formula and she told me this. Babies natural reflex is to suck, whether it is on the bottle or whatever. So even though he may take the bottle if you offer more early or on top of his feed, he doesnt need it and will just bload his tummy. She said an extra 10 or 20mls to what theyre usually having is fine, but wouldnt really give them any more than that. You could always try a dummy (if he takes one) or just a little bit of cooled boiled water inbetween feeds. May also help if he has wind.
Tenny.. actually havent really had time to think about myself lol. Though i have to admit my DH is pretty good and will tell me to go out in the afternoon once hes home (like this arvo) if i want to and he'll watch the kids. Can you even just get yourself a dvd and some chocolate and watch it one arvo or evening?
Feeb.. thats still good he's putting on weight hun.. thats all that matters.
Ok gotta put the boy in bed.
-
Anastasia - I'd go with what your baby needs - cos his needs may be different than what our babies need - IYKWIM? I mean, DS fed a full feed every 4 hours - around the clock. DD feeds every 2 hours - but is only just having 80ml. Its a bit of a pain in the butt feeding that often, but I figure she will grow out of it in time. So if he is crying for food (makes a "nahh" sound at the beginning of each cry) I would feed him :) HTH!!!
Kel - no wonder for ouchies!!!!! I thought DD had one too, but she's been checked out ok.
Tenny - take it easy honey - make time for yourself.. even if it has to be on the toilet!!! ;)
Kristy - You ARE amazing - remember that. Oh and re: the diet - having maccas for dinner... pmsl
Pixie - enjoy your dinner!!
Zee - sorry honey, I seem to have missed your post completely before... hope you are getting some sleep!!!!
DS is so tired, had a big day apparently, and DD is asleep in my arms... DH has gone to get maccas.... all is quiet in my house.. for the moment!! lol
-
thanx guys so much for ur advice it really helped me alot. Hope u all had a good day :D
-
Mel.. have been meaning to ask you.. how often are you giving Mehkelti the colic relief? Like every 4 hours or just when needed?
-
Kel - we did what it said on the bottle - every half an hour for the first four doses, and then every four hours - so we do it for every second feed (since she feeds every 2 hours)
Is that what you guys are doin?
-
Tasia- I am demand feeding so whenever he wants it I give it.. also happy belated bday!! I would never wake a sleeping baby at night..they will wake when they want a feed. If you want though wake in the day but deff not at night.
Mary- Glad you had a pretty good night last night, my mum didnt help at all..she only made more mess :wall:
Mel- :( you dont love me anymore thats why you missed my post
Tenny- Oh i so feel the same way.. luckily after a dummy spit the other night before mum left has pulled DH into line
Kristy- I also take my hat off to you, with 2 kids im finding it hard to even go to the loo.
Thepixie- Yeah on the bargains!
Feeb- Abit of weight is better then none
Kellxx- Yeah I was told to give laila some water as it can help but only cause she was bottle fed.
Hello B, Missy, Belle and everyone else I missed:D
Lucas hasnt been weighed since the home midwife came here.. I so better get onto the CCN tomorrow, I feel so slack but it honestly hasnt even crossed my mind...
Well I better be off, got to do the ironing... god its hard to keep up with the housework!
-
Awwwwww Zeeeeeeeeeeee............ me still wuv you wots and wots
-
question- does anyone's baby have little pimple like small dots on their forehead? Jonathan has got little ones but not that bad..
-
Mel- Thanks
Tasia- Sounds like milk pimples, Lucas has them aswell.
Well I have just finished the ironing and putting it away... now off to bed even though Lucas wakes about this time and stays awake most of the night :wall: heres hoping he sleeps for once!
-
Anastasia.. Keira has a few, not so many as yet.. but Jesse was covered! Ill show you a pic of him. Its called a hormone rash. Very common and nothing bad about it. Just to do with hormones transferred during labour or something. It looks terrible but doesnt effect them at all. Jesse lost the hair on top of his head at the same time (not the back or sides though) so looked like a little man going through puberty! He had it from about 3 weeks until about 8 or 9 i think. His skin is perfect now so doesnt leave any marks. Just dont pick or squeeze them.

Mel.. oh cool. We were unsure if the bottle meant to do that to start with then give it every 4 hours all the time or if it meant only when they had the wind, to give every half hour then every 4 hours until its gone iykwim. Ive just been giving it of an evening. Might actually start doing it every feed now (shes fed every 4 hours) as shes still being having the issues of an evening until the stuff kicks in.
Zee.. i say stuff the house work! Just do it when you can. You only just had a baby hun, not to mension have a toddler as well. The house work can wait. Especially if youre not getting much sleep. Just do the bare minimals.. put a load of washing on when it needs it ect but the rest will be there tomorrow iykwim.
Well our night was ok. Keira had the usual issues around 9-10.30pm ish until the colic relief kicked in then she was out until 3.10am, had a bottle and was back asleep and in bed by 3.30am then woke at 7.10am so was pretty pleased with that. Am gonna do what you do Mel though now with the colic relief, give it to her every 4 hours.. then hopefully we wont have those issues of an evening any more.
-
:hello: morning everyone!
Tasia DD has those on the end of her nose, just little white spots. They're kind of cute.
Our dinner at my dad's place was good - my dad, stepmother and their three kids were all cooing over DD although she slept almost the whole time. She did wake up for a feed but I gave her a little drink and she conked back out again when we put her in the car seat. When we got home I conked and the bear looked after her for a couple of hours.... she was really unsettled and grumpy and the poor Bear felt bad cause he couldn't feed her. Going to start expressing some milk so the Bear can give her a bottle if I'm unconscious and she needs to be settled. But after I gave her her feed at 1.30 she slept through till 7.30!
Rang the Early Childhood Centre yesterday. From what you are all saying about your nurse visits, I was expecting them to want to rush over straight away, considering it took me five days to remember to call. But no they can't fit me in until 8 September!!! DD will be a month old by then! So we're going to take her up to a pharmacy up the road that has midwife visits and weigh her tomorrow. Definitely looks like she is gaining weight (she has got a little double chin!) and because she was on a glucose drip in the NICU for the first two days she didn't really lose much more than 150gms of her birth weight in hospital. But still I want to know how much weight she's gained.
Zee - you poor thing, can DH help somehow so you can catch some Z's? It's terrible when you're crashing from lack of sleep and even just a few hours can really make a difference. Prioritise sleep over housework!
Kel, Mel, Belle, SW, Kristy, Tasia & all
Mel do you have any suggestions on covers for cloth flats? My dad says he will get us the nappy wash service for 6 months and they provide flats.
Sorry it's all me me me today! LOL Have a great day all.
-
Pixie - we use Baby Beehinds covers, and Ish Fly. The Berry Plush nappy shell you can use as a cover & they're soft & fluffy
-
morning
well i have hung the clothes out, fed the babies and now all 3 are sound asleep. i thought i would do a quick post than get some rest myself.
Last night was exhausting, i would just get back in bed and someone else would start to cry. Sebastian was the worst, he can get quite unsettled at times he likes to be held all day and rocked to sleep, Ike was the same but i won't be falling into that trap again once they are 3 months i can start to control cry. but for now unless he is wet hungry windy etc i just pat him and don't pick him up, we have also started to only wrap when its time to sleep so they learn when its bed time.
Anastasia- seb has them too.
pixie god i love cloth.....as a nappy cover i like thirsties and baby softwraps the soft wraps can be used as a cover or you can clip in a booster and use it as a nappy. I would suggest trying out flats before you commit to a nappy service i had flats when ike was born and they gave him the worst rash as they don't draw moisture away the same as the MCN's do. maybe they will have other types not just terry. i have so many different types now i get confused as to what goes with what. I just love the bum genious pocket but ike has outgrown his so now we are using thirsties both AIO and covers with fitted nappies as well as the soft wraps . the soft wraps are my new faveourite ones.
Zee - don't wear yourself out hon. i don't iron we just wash and put it away and iron it as we need it, DH irons his own clothing unless we r going out than i usually do everyones.
kell- same loraine lovley lady soooo nice. maybe cause i bottle and breast thats why its ok.
had the boys weighed and checked monday seb is now 3.5kg and caled is 3.8kg so growing fast. yet still only little fellas.
well gotta go have a nap
kristy
xoxo

Hi all
Just thought id pop in and say hi. Im at work at the moment and trying to get back into it. At least I can sit and watch a movie if I get to tired.
Hope you all well
kell just saw the rash. Awww poor little thing. Still very cute;)
Well all bbl
bye for now
-
Mornin'
Zee - I hope Lucas slept better for you last night. I say stuff the ironing. I only iron when it really need to be done, even then I'll still try and get out of ironing and hope the wrinkles just fall out. LOL.
Kristy - We only wrap Hayden when it's bedtime too. It's working out really well for us with his night sleeping. You little boys are growing fastttttt.
Pixie - Wow. You can't see them until the 8th. That's ages away. Great of your dad to get your the nappy wash service. That's awesome!
Mel - Lol @ taking time for myself even if it's at the toilet. Kids love to ask for something/annoy you especially when you're at the toilet. lol.
Missy - I hope work goes fast for you today.
Thanks for the replies from my post yesterday.
Hayden was just whingy and I had to hold him all day pretty much. He woke up cranky and went to bed cranky last night too. Lol.
He must have been a bit off, since he's back to his normal calm self today.
I was saying to DP last night it's like he was yelling at me with his different cries. Lol.
I might go try and curl my hair or something, while Hayd is zzz'in and Elijah is quiet and doing his own thing.
How're you all feeling? Honestly?
Has it sunk in that you're a mummy/daddy either for the first time or again?
xoxo.
-
Good Afternoon :)
How r we all? Jonathan only got up twice last night at 3.30am & then at 7am so which was ok, without me waking him up. He was asleep but now he's just lying in his bassinet. Does anyone wrap their babies during the day? Has anyone got their periods back from c-section?
Zee-I don't iron my clothes either, I just wash them hung them outside when they are dry I put them away, & if we need to wear them & needs to be ironed I will do it on the day or take it to my hubby's factory & he can press it for me or I will doing it myself.
-
Kristy.. id say thats why she said it is ok for you because theyre having formula as well. But yeh not sure.. thats just what she told me yesterday when i asked her about water. Wow those boys are growing fast! Jesse was 3.8kgs when born. Keira is 4.38kgs.. so theyre not too far away from that. But yeh she is great. Ive had her throughout with Jesse, she even did my home visits with him. Reason i like her so much is shes so unbias. Not one to push you to breastfeed or do things a certain way.. shes very understanding and reassuring.
Missy.. try not to work too hard hun!
Tenny.. glad Hayden is back to his old self today. Today i feel fine, as there was no real dramas with us over night. When Keira is having issues of a night is when it all hits me alot and still get alot of the baby blues coming through (plus the lack of sleep not helping). Was actually starting to think i was entering into a bit of PND. But after talking to Lorraine (CHN) yesterday about it, she said PND doesnt come in until about 8 or so weeks. That its still very common to have the baby blues up until then, especially with the lack of sleep. She said with PND youre down all the time.. whereas during the day im fine.. its just of a night that i fall into a heap. Thank goodness i have my DH. He is brilliant and wonderful. So calm about everything.. its just his nature. Hense probably why Keira always settles with him so easily! How are you feeling about it all hun?
Anastasia.. yep im still wrapping Keira most of the day.. until the afternoon when it starts to warm up a little. Its just so damn cold here. When it starts to get warmer weather then i will wrap less and eventually transfer her into sleeping bags of a night, but she likes to be all nice a toasty and cozy now. Ive got my AF back.. but i had a VAG birth. Happens usually once you stopped BF. Sometimes though you can still get it if you are.
Ok Jesse's finished lunch so best clean him up and put him to bed so i can hopefully cat nap while theyre both snoozing!
-
Morning all (whoops afternoon actually!!) I'm losing track of time bigtime these days..
Tenny - I'm glad he's back to normal - I hate it when they have unsettled days... I usually have a little helper passing me toilet paper when I'm on the toilet, or trying to post it in between my legs.. lol
I'm feeling very well actually about becoming a mother 2nd time over - more calm than I was before when I just had one - and totally loving it - which I can't say that I have EVER felt before!!!!! Dunno, maybe its still hormones and I'll be back to my cranky, impatient self before too long... lol
Kel - ooh we didn't think of looking at giving it that way!!! We just took it to mean every four hours - no matter what... hmmm... interesting.... sometimes its longer than 4 hours of course, depending on how much she sleeps. She's been sleeping all day today - probably mean I'll be up all night tonight!!! That pic of Jess is gorgeous even with the rash - he's sooo cute!!!!!
Kristy - I think you should be given a medal - hanging OUT washing? oh my lord, its hard enough to get mine on the clothes horse every second day... pmsl...
Anastasia - I'm still bleeding of course. Sometimes I think it has stopped, then I'll feel a flood and whooopss... she's back... LOL Oh and I wrap DD all the time no matter what time of day or night it is, she likes to feel secure and if I don't wrap her, she will wake up as soon as I put her down :)
Zee - I'm doing half the ironing - do DH's work clothes and stuff everything else.. it can wait.. lol I hope Lucas slept ok for you.
Missy - man oh man you are a hard worker.. back at work already!??! Watching movies sounds good though ;) Try not to work too hard mate!!!
Pixie - we use flats here at the moment, in between other fitted nappies, and we use Bummis covers and motherease - mother ease covers ROCK.. seriously.. they are AWESOME.
I think that is all I was going to say. Can't remember. Must go have pepsi to wake up. And probably hang some washing out cos Kristy has made me feel like a slack ar$e.. lol ;)
