Hi there everyonem sounds like everyones babies putting on lots of weight unlike my slow to gain weight child! has gained enought just but not huge amounts, still chucking and snack and snooze feeding. Also a bit snuffly so think he has a cold. Dissolving Losec for reflux is driving me nuts as so hard to give it to Jacob.
*Belle* bugger for loosing post drives u nuts when that happens.
Ayapi thats no good that izzy also has reflux seems to be mighty common!!!!!!!!!!! hope she feels better soon.
Gudism thats no good that u r not well, enjoy your mum helping out!
my cs scar i cant see but ob said it was ok on monday and checkup. have slight numbness above wound.
hi to everyone else hoope you all hav e agreat weekend.

Belle- Hi sweety, you have a great weekend to
Feeb- Oh poor Jacob that he has a cold
Jonathan has put on 610gms in 2 weeks. You have a great weekend to sweety :)
-
Feeb - our GP prescribed Zantac and it's a liquid form, must taste good too cause Izzy didn't pull faces. Plus Dr said that it should work within a few days which I'm happy about need to take it twice a day.
Tasia - I'm hoping that Izzy gets better now that we have medication for her.
Have a great weekend all..
-
Mary- I hope the medication does help Izzy get better  You have a great weekend to sweety :) Take care xoxoxoxoxox

Morning everyone :hello:
Well we had a strange night here last night. Like I said, DD has been getting the hiccups constantly, so last night we decided to try some infant's friend to see if that would help. She didn't get the hiccups but she got really upset and aggravated, didn't settle for a proper nap at all between 7pm and midnight (during that time she would normally be asleep except for feeding times) and she got upset and cried any time we touched her tummy, or laid her on her front, or put her over our shoulder or almost any position for bringing up wind. She was really hungry but because she was soo aggravated she was hurting me and scratching and grabbing at the BB's with her sharp little fingernails. We didn't know what to do with her. She settled down a bit in her rocker with the vibrations on, but she didn't sleep, just kind of snoozed fitfully and looked at the TV. Around midnight I finally found a position she was comfortable with to try to wind her and she fell asleep. She slept until 4.30 and when she woke up she was back to her normal self again. Slept until 8 this morning and again, back to her normal self. It was very weird, I don't think I will give her the infant's friend again, the hiccups are easier to cope with! Bear wants to conduct a double blind experiment to see if it really was the infant's friend but I don't want to take the chance! Anyone else had this problem with infants' friend?
Anyway hi everyone, hope you're feeling better Mel, hope you got some sleep feeb.
:hello: mez, belle, kel, zee, tasia, tenny and everyone.
we are just going to have a quiet one today - hope everyone has a good day.
-
Hi all :)
Pixie - nope not that problem with infants friend - she just went back to screaming and pulling her legs up with wind pain.... I hope she behaves tonight for you!!!
Feeb - mine snoozes a bit during the day, but I'm not letting it worry me, I don't even look at the time... lol I hope he gets into a better rhythm for you soon though, it sucks when you can't get anything done!! I hope he starts taking his medicine better too...
Belle - yup two lots of antibiotics that are giving me the runs (lovely side effect!!!) Hopefully it will start to clear up soon cos the pain in my belly is seriously making me cranky. Not too bad at the moment, hurts if I cough, sneeze, blow my nose, move...lol
Just a pain that I have come down with a cold, so I sneeze, cough, blow my nose...
Mez - oh I hope she improves greatly for you on the medicine - and you are a great mum!!
Thanks Kel, and for your text too
Tenny - yeah I was told green means too much iron - has gone back to normal colour now (kind of mustardy colour) so the S26 regular must be working... what excellent growth for your bub!!!! well done - woot!!!
Zee - I hope he starts letting you loose and starts to sleep for you! It is so much harder when you have a toddler running around as well isn't it.

Hi everyone, I have finally gotten my butt back into gear and am back on bb. yay. I have been at home and the computer only a few metres away, but to be honest it has been nice to just be focussing on Georgia and being entertained by visiting family and friends, I was sort of having a computer break, except for a few minutes on fb occasionally. I have missed all of you guys though and am going to go back over all the chatter to see what everyone has been up to.
So an update on me and G. She is really a fabulous little baby, so I feel extremely lucky. she actually is sleeping through the night now... well not every night but we are getting there. Last night I fed her at midnight, and then not again until 7am this morning. we didn't hear a peep out of her all night. during the day she sleeps brilliantly too, and I feed her roughly every four hours. except if we are out and about it is a bit more frequently. she is however generally very unsettled between about 9:30pm and midnight. but i can handle that cos it is really the only time we have any issues and is only a couple of hours. she has put on good amounts of weight and is now 3.2 kilos or 7 pound 1. BFing is now pain free so I am very happy. I started mothers group and it seems like it is going to be really fun.
ThePixie - hey there. I haven't used infants friend, not really sure what it is, but Georgia has hiccups all the time too. They seem to go away quickly if we keep her upright after a feed for a bit longer. The hiccups are just a result of an immature digestive system (a bit like how they chuck a bit after a feed) and except for being a bit annoying to listen to (although I actually think they are quite cute) they are pretty normal, and I don't think they cause any distress to the bubs. Do they upset Beth? cos I don't think they last that long age wise. Just until their systems mature.
Mel - you poor dear. I hope you are feeling a bit better today and that your mum is looking after you well.
Feeb - hi there!!! I hope Jacob's cold gets better asap. How are you? I'm really looking forward to the Melbourne catch up. You guys haven't organised a date yet in my absence have you?? If not, then we should organise it for very soon.
Ok well I gotta go watch the football, DH is calling for me to come watch with him. G is asleep for the moment. I will read up on everyone else over the next day or two (cos it will probably take me that long with 16 pages to read) I'll bbl to see how everyones weekends are going.
-
Did I say a quiet day? LOL we have had visitors in a continuous stream! LOL DD is sleeping well today though, so hopefully there will be no repeats of last night
JK :hello: good to have you back. No the hiccups generally don't worry her although I think she was getting annoyed yesterday she had had them like a dozen times. We just thought the infant's friend might help, but sometimes doing nothing is better!
Anyway, going to make some cookies now, so hope everyone has a good night :)
-
Pixie.. hiccups are perfectly normal and really dont effect babies like they do us. Both Jesse and Keira got them in my tummy and once out. Jesse usually once a day but he grew out of them. Theres nothing really you need to do as they dont really worry babies.. but you can offer a top up of breastmilk (or cooled boiled water for those FF) if you wish. RE the Infants Friend.. i dont think it was too good for Keira. Her poos were absolutely potent while on it and it didnt seem to help her at all. Have found the Brauer's Colic Relief a lot better for her. She still has her upset periods usually most nights (most babies have an upset period or hour during the day). Once she's 1 month old im going to try her on the Infacol.
Mez.. oh poor Izzy. Glad you found out what was wrong though. Hope the medicine helps her poor pet.
Jessica.. glad everythings going well and youre enjoying being a mum.
Well 3am seems to be Keira's feed time. The past 5 nights now no matter what time we feed her (usually between 9.30-11pm) her wake up time is 3am.. but then goes back to sleep after a feed within the hour and doesnt wake until 7am.. and today 8.30am! Woo! Was so happy as Jesse slept until 8.30am also, so we all got a nice sleep in.
-
Mez - I hope Izzy is better today. We had troubles making Hayden swallow the antibiotics when he was on them a few weeks ago, so I hope she takes it allg ood for you guys. Mums always know when their kids aren't themselves.
Pixie - Hayden got the hiccups loads in my tummy, and still goes them regularly too. Sometimes they annoy him and he likes to be held when he's got em, but it could be he just wants to be held anyways, regardless of the hiccups. Lol. Hope your cookies turned our greatttt.
Jess - Wb! Hayden sleeps through the night too. Last feed near midnight and doesn't get up until around 8 or so.
Kell - Yay for the sleep in. That's a great start to the weekend. Whoo hoo!!!
Mel - Do you know what too much iron does? No one has ever told/asked me about his poo colour and if it's a certain colour to change formula. I feel so in the dark. Lol.
Hey, so is anyone being asked if they're having anymore babies already????
It's like people are asking me already, and I'm like "Uh, uhmm.." and look at them funny.
Come on! I only just pushed this one out the other week.
-
Tenny- People have said to me so when is the next one, I say to them we are trying later this year. (not joking).
Pixie- Jonathan had hiccups in my tummy all the time, & now he's hiccuping all the time as well, I asked the maternal nurse & she said it's perfectly normal. So I was worried as well. But yeah don't stress hun, ur doing a great job :)
Jess- Hey sweety, glad to see u back. That's great about G getting up at 7am :) I to feed Jonathan at midnight but he gets up at 4.30am, then at 7.30-8.00am so I am really pleased with that :) I'm glad everything is going well for u, good on u darls.
Mel- Hey sweety, hope u r feeling better, it was of ur mum to come tound & look after u & ur babies :)
Mary- How r u sweety, How's Izzy going is she getting better, hugs go out to u sweety
-
Kellxx- OMG your so lucky... now please tell me what the secret is??? :D
Mel- Oh my it is hard, I normally even without kids dont do little sleep well..cant have coffee atm cause my milk is a little on the loe side
TheBear/The Pixie- Lucas has the hiccups a few times a day at least, I wouldnt worry..dosnt effect them really.
Tenny- Hehe yeah had a few.. we are done here, im not gunna go through labour again...
Jess- Rub it in LOL, Hmm Laila was sleeping 12 hrs through the night at 6 weeks old so I wonder if I will be lucky to have Lucas do it:rolleyes:
Feeb- Hope Jacob gets over his cold fast:hug:
Belle- No hun didnt get your txt back..
Hello everyone else, Im gunna go for a quick sleep before Lucas gets up while he is ASLEEP
-
Hi girls
How are you weekends? my DH goes back to work monday! cant believe how fast its
gone and Tara will be 4 weeks on Monday evening!
Girls in Sydney we found out Dora the Explora is going to be on at The Acer Arena on 3 and 4 Oct so was thinking we could get a group together to see it on the Friday or Sat.
Zee- honey how strange re my sms. Dam 3 phone. How ru? lets catchup soon ok.
Pixie - Tara always gets hiccups too, I find if I BF her again I get rid of them or just hold her upright for a while too and that gets rid of them.
Pink - sweetie, big hugs been reading your posts in the Bf support area. havent had time to respond but want to give you big hugs. We actually had issues with Julia gaining weight but we weighed her before and after every feed and found out how much milk she was getting as I didnt want to express all the time and use a bottle, you can do it that way too if you prefer, im not sure why your DH is so keen on the bottle maybe like you said so he can see the mls, so weighing is good too.
Mel - hon how you feeling today?
Missy hon any news? thinking of you :hugs:
Hello to everyone Tara's not settling so have to go, will come back in the morning girls and say hello.

Hi ladies..
Just a quick pop in for me.
Have had a terrible night in our house. My poor little man Jesse threw up in bed last night at about 8.30pm. Put him in the bath. He was freeking out big time as hes never been sick before. Got him out and dressed and he continued to be sick. That went on for about 2 hours. Wouldnt drink anything. Called a help line as i had no idea what to do, hes alway been so well. They suggested taking him to hospital as he was lathargic, pale and wouldnt drink. So called the IL's to look after Keira and went down to hospital around 11pm. Stupid woman on reception.. had to spell Jesse's name to her 3 times in the mean time Jesse was being sick and screaming. Ehh sorry just topped it off. But then were told by a nurse to give him 7mls water which we measured out into a seringe every 10 minutes. He was happy to take that but just wanted more, even though we werent allowed to give any more than that every 10 minutes. He ended up keeping that all down and fell asleep in the pram (while waiting for the doctor) for about half an hour. But then woke as he couldnt get comfortable. There was still several hours wait as there was 3 people on life support last night and the doctors were attending to them.. so we decided to take him home to try and rest at about 2am as he hadnt thrown up for 2 hours. Got home and he was sick again. Was just so lathargic. So pulled out a matress onto the lounge room flour and tried to sleep with him on it. He slept there off and on until about 3.30am when Keira woke for a feed. DH attended to her and i decided to try putting Jesse back in bed. He fell asleep holding my hand my poor little baby. And slept until about 7.30am this morning. Hasnt been sick since but had 2 very watery poos around 9am and nothing since. Has been wanting to drink lots of water which is good and had a piece of toast with vegemite this morning which was also good. Seemed like back to his old self in certain periods then just tired in others. So hes in bed now. Hopefully he will sleep for a few good hours. MIL is here helping look after Keira and as much as i in the past have shudded at the thought.. its actually a god blessing having her here. Maybe its a turn around for me with MIL. Both her and FIL have been great looking after Keira last night and today.
Anyways.. im going to try and get some sleep while shes here looking after Keira. Will be back later.

hey guys just a quick one.
we also had a crappy night; Isaac has gastro.........I think he and jesse both got it while kell and i were at rouse hill shopping. maybe in the parents room or the food court. i have been spending th day sterolising my house washing everything and disenfecting everything too. i don't want to get sick or make the twins sick so since its mostly spread oraly we have made it a rule to wash hands whenever we touch our face / mouth etc.
I spoke to kell sounds like we are both in 4 another bad night.
well bettergo babies calling than i might get an early night incase isaac wakes up sick again.
all you first timers have all this to look forward to. the only thing worse than a sick man (sorry bear) is a sick toddler...........

Hello there,
may i join in? My DS was born on the 29th July at 7:07am after a nasty labour!
I'm on the Gold Coast, have a 21month old DD and a wonderful DH.
My DH has just gone back to work and has the night shift! so i've had fun juggling 2 under 2...and i think i'll head off to bed!
nice to meet you all!
-
Kellxx- Oh no, poor Jesse :( Laila has been sick once for near a week and she freaked out everytime she would spew. I really hope he gets better ASAP!
Glad MIL & FIL have been a help with Keira..hopefully this is a turn around for you & MIL.
Kristy- Poor Isaac :(, deff sounds like the boys caught it at the Rouse Hill shopping trip you & Kell had.. hope he also gets beeter ASAP!
Belle- Yeah im with 3 aswell.. im starting to have trouble with them. Yes deff a meet-up as soon as your able to go out and about. There is meant to be a meet up happening at my place this week/next week for the Sydney girls on the "other" forum. Id say it will be next week.. Missy will be coming aswell cause she lives just a street up from me.
Taralee- Welcome to our group! Your DS was born the day my DS was born  though he was born at 12.57am.
I also have 2 under 2, my DD just turned 20 months 1 day ago.
All you girls were so lucky to have your DH'd off, my DH was only off the day I had Lucas then he went back to work as he hadnt been at his new job for 3 months so he dosnt get paid for days he has off (even though they paid him for that day). He was allowed a few weeks off but I didnt want him not to get paid (more $$ for me to spend LOL).
Well anyway, gunna go up and watch tv in bed with DH and try and go to sleep while my lil man is sleeping. He is in his cot, I thought id try it and see how he goes as he dosnt seem to like the bassinette.
-
Hi everyone....
I really take my hat off to all you girls that manage to post! I just can't find the time...except for quick updates.
Ash refused to feed again this morning but on the plus side I did express 100ml from 1 side and 0ml from the other....fenugreek might be doing something??
I have to sign something at family day care today as I signed J in for a tues instead of the thurs so it has caused problems and my SIL got a fine for it as it looks like she had 5 kids instead of 4. Going for morning tea after that then home to do the washing I started on Sat.
Mel: how are you feeling now? Lucky you got your mum there!
Jess: Good to see you back....although I still haven't got organised enough to be back all the time yet!
Kell: Well done on your sleeping babies! I was up twice with Jayden and Ashlea slept thru!
Tenny: No one has asked me when the next one is but I think everyone knows how much Chris doesn't want anymore, and I am happy with 2 ATM...I hope it stays that way or I'll have to find another Daddy haha
Belle: How are you going??
Sorry to those I missed...Jayden's just got up and he looks like he has conjuctivitis, I think Ash is getting it too...better make Dr's appt's
-
Hi guys... I've been away all weekend from BB - shock horror!!! lol
My mum was only here on Friday with me, just to help out for that day. It was good hanging out with her though cos she leaves on Wednesday to go overseas for a month, so was good to just do nothing and chat all day!!!!
Still sick in this house. Went to doc again yesterday, he said that I don't have an infection, its a muscle thing, and that I wasn't getting side effects from the antibiotics it was the head cold that I have come down with causing my toes to go numb and my hands to feel like they were made of wood.. uh huh.. yup... he's a moron! Thank god he's not my usual doc.
Jess - I'm glad you are having such a good time with your baby... the first child is usually the hardest, so you are very blessed that you got a good one!!! lol
Kel - OMG poor Jesse!!!!!!! How is he now?!??? I'm glad you had your MIL there to help (sometimes they come in handy ;))
Belle - how are you doing honey?
Tan - my sisters kids have conjunctivitis too at the moment, think there are some yucky germs going around !!! Hope it clears up soon :) And woohoo for 100ml!! Thats huge!! I'm still leaking milk from my left side during the night - its a pain in the butt..lol I keep waking up with a wet singlet and feel all gross...
Hi Tara - I'm not technically a part of this thread, but I couldn't leave my belly buddies... me wuvs them.. :) Are you coming up to Brisbane for any of the meet ups? I'm travelling down from the Sunny coast for them
Zee - I can't believe he didn't take time off work - you are an amazing woman!!! my DH had two weeks off, and although he drove me CRAZY, it was nice to have that extra help.
Kristy - I hope Isaac gets better, definitely something going around....
Tenny, Pixie (and bear), Anastasia, Mez - Helllllloooooooooooooo
Well DD is sleeping (finally) and DS is watching in the night garden so I might make myself another cuppa before the next feed....

Hi all
Sorry no personals at presant. Couple of questions.
First just want to say that Liams hearing test is on 20th October so wont know anything till then.
Oh he is such a beautiful baby. He is so good. Besides chucking abit he is perfect. he will have his last feed around 10.30 - 11pm and wont wake till 3 or 4am. Its good as DH is still up at the 10-11 feed so I go to bed about 9 and he feeds Liam then I do the early morning feeds. Oh he feeds within 1/2 hr then ill hold him upright for 20 mins (so it settles to stop him chucking as much) then put him back down. He will then wake about 7-9 so im pretty happy with that. He doesnt cry with any pain and ive evern stopped using the infant friend. He burps like a champ. So im feeling pretty happy with how things are going but cried all weekend as I kept thinking about his hearing. As Kell said and thanks for that hun, He is probably just use to callum's noise. I hope so anyway.
Ok the couple of questions: How much is the bottle fed babies drinking?? Liam is on 120-130mls.
Is the babies born roughly 6 weeks ago smiling lots. Liam has started smiling a little but has been doing windy smiles for about 4 weeks.
Liam has also started to follow me around with his eyes and head. This happened on saturday.
Are you ladies giving your babies tummy time and how is that going??
Ok well better go as my 6 weeks check up is today with my ob and no dought he will want to do a pap smear...awwww gross. Better go trim...:cryinglaugh:
Take care all and bbl

Hi everyone,
Well we've had some hard nights over the weekend but I think the medication is starting to work (fingers crossed). Izzy is still not sleeping very well during the day only 1 hour here or there. But when we have to go out she is a total angel and sleeps the whole time
Missy - Isabel is having 120mls of formula at the moment but will increase it soon to 150mls and see if she will drink it all. She is also smiling with big open mouth smiles now for 2 weeks and is starting to goo (which I'm over the moon about). Oh I do give her belly time when I have her on the change table after I have changed her nappy so that I am at her level and I can praise her for lifting her head up. By the way Liam looks so handsome in that outfit ;)
Kell - Oh sweet I really do hope that Jesse is feeling better real soon, it's horrible having a sick child in the house.
Kristy - I hope Isaac is better soon too sweet and good on you for cleaning the house and making sure your germ free when touching the twins or yourselves.
Taralee - Welcome to the group sweet!
A BIG :hello: to Zee, Mel, Pixie, Tannis, Tenny, Tasia, Jess, Feeb, Belle and anyone else that I have missed.
I'll BBL as my little one is sleeping so I'm going to have some lunch.. and ME time
-

So i am soooooooooooooooo tired today ended up sleping on couch with him for 2 hrs thats most sleep he has had in 24 hrs. Using fess drops hard to use and he hates them. Hi girls
Ok, how do you do it with 2 children or more? my first day alone and I feel I was going in circles, so hard to even eat, ended up with cold hot chips lol.
Kell - is Jesse ok??? been waiting to hear back from you, I am thinking of you and Jesse...
Kristy - gee I hope Isaac feels better soon honey and the boys dont get it too or you... big hugs.
Missy - aww that outfit is gorgeous! so are your boys sweetie.
Tara lee - welcome! great name! my little girl is called Tara!
Feeb - big hugs mate I know its hard when they are sick I hope
Zee - I cant get onto the other site anymore:( can you pm me your details and when it is we would love to come and see you and catchup.
Mez - thats great to hear your antib's are working for Izzy sweetie. Tara only slept an hour today during the day. but is having a long sleep now which is great.
Tannis - how you doing sweetie? 100mls on one side is great, I cant get that :( I can get about 80mls on left side and about 50 max on my right, my right boob is the dud one lol was when feeding Julia too.
Pink - how you doing with BF hon? sending you big hugs.
Tenny - Ive been asked so many times if Im having more than 2 lol. I actually said when I was having my c/section this time I would do it again in a sec LOL. My OB thought is was so funny!
Mel - how you doing? I hope all is well hon, and you are having great time with your mum.
Tasia - how ru and Johnathon today?
Pixie - chocolate? OMG im so hungry right now I could eat a horse!!! How ru Beth n Bear doing?

am i in the right group? lol
Sorry, am still trying to get to know everyone and your babies!
Feeb - sorry to hear you're having a rough time. have you tried a vapouriser? they're fantastic, you can pick them up at the chemist around $40 or so. hope you get some sleep :(
Ayapi - did you enjoy your 'me' time? goes all too quick, doesnt it?
Missy - can't help with your questions, i'm afraid, except that chino's started smiling. try not to worry about the hearing test. when evie was about 6 weeks old, i was holding her when i set off the house alarm and i was standing right under the screamer. it frightened me and i screamed and couldnt run away from the noise quick enough. i ran to the other room of the house and put evie on the bed and she just looked at me like i was an idiot. it was like she hadn;t heard a thing. i was absolutely devastated. i've since found out that there are sounds babies a) can't hear: and b)don't sound as offensive as they do to us. In the end, i dropped a baking tray on the tiles behind evie to see if she reacted, and she did. Having said that, evie has now taken to screaming and squealing for attention, and chino doesnt react to any of that whatsoever...so try not to stress hun, i know it's hard tho
I got chino weighed today and he's put on 600gm in 2 weeks, then threw up on the nurse and just smiled at her! what a monkey!!!
Thanks for welcoming me :)
-
Thanks Belle, you posted as i was replying. Does Tara have a middle name? taralee is my first name, all together, one word and tara's not a name you hear a lot! so good on you ;)
-
Hi girls
I've been MIA for a while as Belle won't go in her bed during the day. She will sleep in the hug a bub if I walk around with her, but that's my best chance. Nights have been going well though, so I'm confused. Needless to say I don't get much time for forums, or anything for that matter! My MIL has been a sanity saver and just holds her sometimes so I can go to the toilet!
Sounds like lots has been happening, hopefully I can have a read and catch up some time soon. Just wanted to say we haven't fallen off the planet and I hope everyone is doing ok. The last 6 weeks have definitely been the biggest learning curve of my life, as I'm sure lots of you will understand.
Take care girls
Pam

Missy - DD has been smiling for about a week now. I was actually surprised cause I didn't think they smiled this early, but she only does her big ol' gummy smiles when DH or I talk to her after a feed. She looks so adorable when she does! The midwife at the clinic saw her do it (about a week ago now) and marked it down as a milestone reached.
Bel - BF still not going so well :(. Have got the fengreek tablets but I think they are upsetting my stomach, but will persavere. Just spoke to DH and asked him to take me to the doctors tomorrow so I can get a script for motilium (can't drive as I had a c-section). He wasn't happy and thought that I had given up (mind you he has been sitting here watching me try to express several times tonight ). Also tried to put DD on the boob - just to make sure she would still attach - no use going through all this just to have her refuse the boob - and she went on fine . Had her on a few times today, again to help my supply.
Hey to everyone else.

Hi all :)
I had a good weekend hope u all did as well. Jonathan is doing really well eat, sleeps & playtime only for a little while, I'm so in love with him, he's my angel, my prince, my everything, I love being a mum, just like the rest of u mummies :)
Tara- Welcome to the group hun :)
Belle- Hey sweety, Jonathan & I are doing well. How r u & Tara going?
Feeb- Sorry that you had a bad weekend. Poor baby Jacob I really hope he gets better soon
Mary- Hey sweety, I really hope that the medication has worked, It has to work so can meet up in a few weeks
Missy- The oufit is sooooo gorgeous & so is Liam. I'm giving Jonathan 100mls every four hrs, but I will increase it in a week or so depends if Jonathan wants more. I do burp Jonathan but sometimes he doesn't want to burp so I just leave it, & when he does burp I'm happy. I give Jonathan tummy time everday on the floor he pushes his head up & now he's starting to roll on his side I'm like WTF LOL. Jonathan has had wind smile for about 2 weeks now, LOL it's so cute I'm even trying to snap pics but he stops. He does follow me with his eyes & head, If I'm not there he'll cry his lungs out. Oh & yeah Jonathan does chuck a little when I put him down as well I asked the nurse & she said it's normal but he hasn't been doing as much as he used to. Speaking about 6 weeks check up I have my check up 2m I better go shave the whole lot LOL (TMI).
Kristy- Oh poor Isaac, I hope he gets better. Gastro yeah no, not looking forward to that.
Zee- If it makes u feel any better, my DH didn't take any time off work as he has his own buisness, so it did not bother me at all.
Tannis- Conjunctivitis aaaaaaaaa I used to have them alot as I used to be a child care worker (not anymore) Poor Ash & Jayden. Um why did ur SIL get a fine?

Good evening lovely ladies and the Bear!! oh and all the bubbas too.
Well the weekend was ok, I've already forgotten what we did, not much obviously. I'm sure that you are all finding that one day pretty much blurs into the next. I rarely have much idea what day it is, except that I use a diary to mark the times that I bf and what side I started on etc. Georgia is currently sitting on the couch with her daddy, and is awake like she is at this time every night, I still can't quite figure out why this is her preferred time to be awake, but at least both me and DH are home at this time to share her.
Tasia - hi there! I'm really glad for you that you are really loving the motherhood experience, and that Jonathan is doing so well.
Pink - good on you for perservering with the bf, it sounds like you have the patience of a saint. Keep putting her on, even if you dont think she is getting much cos the more she is on, the better your supply will become. apparently everytime you try to increase it (by feeding more regularly) it takes a few days to become a more permanent thing. Oh and the only other thing i can think of is try to keep drinking lots of water. that helps too. Sorry if you have had that advice a million times, I missed most of this thread so far so not sure what other conversations you have had about it.
Hi Pam - don't worry if you can't pop in much, just jump on when you can. even if it is just to give yourself a bit of sanity after walking Belle around all day. hang in there, she will sleep better eventually.
Taralee - wow 600grams is a lot to put on. he must have been having a growth spurt. and yes you are in the right group. we all had due dates of 15th to 31st of July, but some of the babes were impatient to get out, whilst a few others were way to comfy inside to greet the World within the timeframe. we had such a nice group though, that everyone has stuck together despite the actual birth dates.
Belle - lol about your cold hot chips. I'm really good, how are you?... besides the going in circles feeling.
Feeb - poor Jacob and poor you, you must be exhausted looking after him if he can't get any sleep. good on you for crashing on the couch with him. Sending you a big hug, and some get better vibes to J. I am sure he will be better soon, and you'll be able to get some more rest. Is your DH much help?
Hey Mez - I guess Izzy is just a social butterfly, you'll just have to take her out everyday so she gets some sleep. so how was the 1st birthday on the weekend? did the skirt fit her?
Hi Missy - bfing so no idea how much milk she is getting. it is a bit disconcerting sometimes cos you can only hope that your body is making what she needs. Also Georgia is only four weeks, but we are getting windy smiles, as well as some real smiles sometimes. she seems to like communicating on her change table so I get a few there, and she talks a bit there too which I love. She also follows our voices with her eyes and tonight DH was standing behind me talking, and then he moved and she turned her head all the way around to look at him as he walked away, and then followed him back as he walked towards her. such a simple thing but we were excited. I give her tummy time when I remember it, and she has a very strong neck already so I don't fuss too much if I forget. Also she doesn't always like it, so if she starts to cry I turn her back over.
Mel - yeah I do feel blessed with her. I'm glad you have had your mum with you. they are such a help aren't they? I hope you are feeling a bit better. How many more weeks til you have to go back to work?
I better not write anything else or I'm gonna take a whole page up. lol. but hi to everyone else I missed... Tan, Zee, the Pixie, Kristy, Tenny...

I'll try to do personals this arve....
We have a Dr's appt this morning for Jayden, his eyes don't look that bad this morning but he still has a horrible cough so will get that checked out.
:welcome: to the group Taralee!
Kell: Hope Jesse is ok
Missy: Only wind smiles here...I think, a couple of times she has smiled but it could be wind smiles. Ashlea will drink about 120ml if I give her a bottle.
BF'ing has been going great (still painful though), she refused yesterday morning (can't remember if I mentioned) but other than that she has attched no probs.
I had Ashlea weighed last time we saw the LC and she is now 4.06kg up 260g in 1 week....she had been having EBM though. This Friday should be good hopefully as she has only (so far) had the 1 bottle so I'll get a better idea how much I am feeding her.
Ok time to get Jayden's brekki, have a shower and get 2 kids ready to go out! Will try really hard to pop in later and do proper personals :hello: to all I missed oxoxo
