Kel - rescue remedy is like homeopathic drops that you get in spray from a health food store. I don't get panic attacks now- but I used to get them. I still get them if I fly or go to concerts or something - too many people in an enclosed place gets me a bit blah!!

Mel: YAY your coming up!! Ummm not sure on accom, The Burnett Riverside is meant to be really nice but pretty pricey (so I've heard), I'll see if anyone here knows of a good place. Jayden is still coughing but not as bad, thanks Mehkelti's stats are great!!

SW: Thats great Alyssa went well for her check up. Woohoo for being organised! GL with the move!

Tasia: Ash has been crying in her sleep too, maybe it is bad dreams?? Thats great he slept til 7.30am in the end. My xmas tree will look the same haha. I'm sorry your DH is the way he is! Has he been like that since Jonathan was born or is he getting worse? Chris wasn't very involved (to say the least )in the beginning and although he'd ring me a million times a day he would never ask how Ash was or acknowledge her at all, its not normal! I would kill Chris if he said anything was more important than his kids! I really hope he snaps out of it soon or I will send Mel down there for a Mellie slappin LOL.

Tenny: Hope H starts sleeping for you during the day! Not sure what you could try, Ash is pretty good most times I can just put her down and tell her sleep and she goes off within a few minutes, other times (like tonight) it takes a while. YOU ARE NOT A BAD MUMMY AT ALL, I cut Jayden with nail clippers when he was 8wks old and it wouldn't stop bleeding, he also rolled off the couch around the same time there are probably heaps of things I have done but he survived it. Ohh I know that high pitched talking, Ashlea has been doing it every morning at like 5am for the last 4 or 5 days!!

No more TTC for me, not in the near future anyway. Chris doesn't want anymore but beside that, I'm not sure I could go through the birth again, definitely couldn't handle 3 under school age. I am more than happy with the 2 I have but I also know me and I will get clucky eventually haha.

Pix: Ashlea's book has a checkup at 4mths, might be different in different states.

Zee: Get checked out hun, bruising easy isn't good and get the rod out too if thats causing AF to hang around. I was thinking of getting it but Dr said that could happen...I just wanted something that wouldn't bring AF on at all LOL....too late for that now though! Lucas is a great weight!!

Mez: Have fun with you MG! Woohoo on TTC a bit earlier!! How exciting!

Kell: Hope you are feeling better soon hun! I wanted a closer age gap so they were good playmates too, my bro is 4yrs older and although I hung around him and his friends, I was only 14 and they were all 18 so I was doing everything an 18yr old was doing at 14.....I guess lucky I turned out ok but I wouldn't want my daughter growing up too quickly like I did.

Hi to anyone else I missed

I had the BF'ing talk tonight, it went pretty well but OMG there were so many ppl!!! I hate public speaking! They pretty much just asked questions or the LC would tell them a little of what I went through (just touched on things as we didn't want to scare new mummies to be!). I told the dads to be to be supportive (as chris wasn't and made it more stressful). I was only there for about 15-20mins and I got a bunch of flowers for coming. Everyone was in awe of Ashlea, one girl said she was really getting clucky now! Didn't think of some things to say until afterwards of course! I was quite proud of myself tonight I managed to cook a lamb roast (with rosemary & garlic) and ate it before I had to go.

Anyway this is a monster post....hope I don't lose it hehe

Kel - rescue remedy is like homeopathic drops that you get in spray from a health food store.
Also available from pharmacy and also in drops. You can add it to water to drink if you don't want the spray.

Or in my case, I add a few drops to the blankets in my cat cages before the cats travel Works a treat!

I have a friend who said she used to get MASSIVE panic attacks after the breakup of her marriage, and rescue remedy helped her immensely. It's only about $13 and seems to be worth a billion times its weight in gold.

Well done Tan! Sounds like you did great - its not easy talking in front of lots of people! Re: the crying in her sleep, could it be teething? Beth was doing that when she first started teething.
Kel - I hope you feel better soon hon... A Bumbo is a little baby seat which holds them in a sitting position, there's a photo of Beth sitting in it here It's really good - since we got it the other night she is much better at sitting unaided without it as well, she can sit for five minutes or more without toppling over!
SW good luck with the big move....
    Mel - everyone knows you're a harda$$!!
big to everyone, gotta run and shower and do dishes before the walk!

Mel: Your a hard@ss hun and we love you for it! Haha

Thanks Feeb & Pix...Turns out Chris knows one of the dads that was there too and on his FB he wrote that they had a very very very long birthing class LOL.....It would be a bit boring for the guys I spose.

Pix: It could be teething actually, her hands were in her mouth when she did it last night but she was still asleep. Love the bumbo! Is there any warnings on it to say how long to leave bub in there for? I was going to get one but friend of mine said it was bad for their backs asthey aren't ready to sit yet (I know Beth has sat up though) but the way I see it is they can't sell it if its going to cause damage.

Staying home again today I think, although we might go for a swim later....its already 30 degrees here. Got to do some vacuuming today and clean up Jayden's toys so I can put the xmas tree up. Those with toddlers, how are they going with presents under the tree?? I think Jayden would open them so I'm not sure I'll put them under the tree until closer to the time.

    Morning.

Tan - I'm glad your BFing talk went great! I can't believe you were so organised and cooked a roast and ate it before you left.
He's fighting sleep so much. I know one of these days he'll sleep of most the day to catch up.
WOW it's hot there! It's suppose to be only 25 here today. Might go for a walk with the boys. Idk yet.
Elijah never touched the presents under our tree, and still doesn't. He gets into everything else so it's strange that he leaves them alone. Lol.

Kell - AF is due soon, unfortunately. I guess she's the reason I'm feeling like this. I've never been this bad before. It's so awful. I don't know why it's gotten worse. I can just see Keira and Jesse playing together looking so cute too. My boys will probably be all rough and stuff together. Ugh. Not looking forward to that. Boys and wrestling.

Pixie - Cute picture. She looks so comfy in the Bumbo. I'm going to have to show DP that picture so he can see how good they really are cause at the moment I don't think he believes me.

Mez - Have fun with your MG today at your place!

Thanks for answering the TTC question. I was just curious as always. :P
We haven't really spoken about whether we'll have another or not. We always wanted an decent gap in ages between kiddies and before Elijah just wasn't ready either. Aswell as seeing how things are moneywise too.

Pixie & SW - That's like us. We are really glad we waited that little bit extra for my sake aswell as Elijah's too.

SW - I didn't think I'd have another good baby either. I always thought I couldn't get one any better then Elijah was. I was sure we'd have a devilchild second time around but Bubbablue is so much better then Elijah was. *touch wood*
I guess it'll probably come bite me in the ass if/when we have a 3rd. :P

    everyone else.

Thanks for the support re: the Ratbag making Bubbablue bleed.
I was so so upset about it yesterday. I'm glad DP was on his way home when it happened. I was crying my eyes out.

    Morning guys

Tan - awww thanks.. nice to know my attitoood is needed around here - hehehe... are you guys doing anything on the Friday - week after xmas? days have changed now - coming to bundy on the friday - not sure what date that is... uhh....2nd jan? Congrats on your talk too - I'm sure you did brilliantly!!!! *mwah*

Tenny - its hot here too babe..yuckkoo weather.. was thinking of taking the kids down to the shops this morning - but Miss M is having an unsettled day (could be the shots yesterday, or that she still has a cough) so don't know if I will or not.

Pixie - uh thanks I think? lol... i've been looking at those seats, but really, do I really need another baby thing in this teeny tiny little house!!

Miss M was SUPPOSED to be asleep at 8 - I put her down and she started to fall asleep, but had a huge coughing fit, choking and stuff, so i had to get her back up, give her some water, and have only just put her back down. .and i can hear her singing so she is obviously not asleep!!!!! Damn vaccinations.. screw up our routine. lol

The damn vaccinations do screw up the routines with us too.
Poor little mite and her coughing. Bubbablue hasn't got that much of a cough, thankgod. Elijah does though. It's awful and chesty.
