Mel - Oh wow. That's interesting and a great idea for starting foods. I feel like such a fool for not even knowing what it is. We start with farex and purees then when he can hold the finger foods properly he'll be right into those.. and if he's anything like his brother was it'll be for the best. DS1 was such a fussy eater when he was little.. still kinda is but if he's hungry he'll eat whatever I give him or have a piece of fruit since there is always fruit here. I'm such a mean mummy. :P
WOW. Your job sounds great. I really hope you get it! Alvin and the Chipmunks is a cool movie. It'll always remind me of my labour with Bubbablue cause I had that to watch that night he was born. Lol.
Kell - YAY for getting your Wii. I hope you have a great time testing it out. DP and I are bad, we got Elijah a portable dvd player and we tested it out before I wrapped it. How naughty of us. It's reallllllllllly good too. How's your little miss going with the teething?

Mez - I hope your DD feels better soon. Bubbablue still has a tiny bit of a cough from his flu from the other week. The colds and flus seem to just hanggggg around so long. It's awful. I hope you and DH don't get it either.

Thank you all so much for answering my dumb questions about solids. I thought all this would come flooding back to me from when Elijah was a baby but it's not really. Yesterday when I gave him the farex straight after his first bottle I was thinking it wasn't the same as what we did with Elijah but I couldn't remember how it all worked. Lol. Today i moved it to the middle of the day and it worked out better for me cause I wasn't all doing housework and trying to get Elijah's breakfast at the same time, etc etc.

Today we had Santa photos. We thought Bubbablue was going to cry but once he was distracted he was right and smiled away... Elijah on the other hand wasn't in the mood but we did manage to get a decent smile out of him by the end. I would put it on here for you guys to see but I don't know where our scanner is or if the cords are all with it.
Teething is going okay here so far. The days are full or whinges and clingyness, but so far the nights haven't been disrupted. I've got everything crossed the nights stay that way too. The bonjella seems to be helping somewhat sometimes. I'm also hoping he's a fast teether like Elijah was, and I was when I was little too.
It's a quiet day for us here. It's raining, but I still managed to wash and dry the clothes on the line this morning before it started to pour so YAY!
I haven't seen our Santa photo yet, but DP picked it up and says it's really gooooood.
Can't wait!!
I can't believe it's so close to Christmas already. This week is going so fast and I have no idea why. Our Bubbas will be having their first christmas next week. It's soooo exciting!!!!
I hope you're all having a more exciting day then I am.

Had a lovely day at Kristy's Christmas party! Kids had a great time, us mums had a great time.. was great!
Tenny.. i know i cant believe its Christmas again! And our babies are getting so old!! I cant believe we'll soon be saying i cant believe theyre 1!! That wont be far away! Oh cant wait to see your santa photo! Just take a photo of it with your camera? Love your ticker! Hayden is so cute! Haha well you gotta make sure it works! No teeth with our little miss. She has good days then shockers. Still very clingy though. Any teeth your way?

We put her in the jolly jumper before.. she loved it.. was crackin up at DS and me.. sooo cute.. hehe.. then DS wanted a turn and cracked it when I said he couldnt' go in there cos its for babies.. lol.. he understood after I said he could go outside on the slide and bubby couldnt - cos he's a BIG boy.. tanty over...think I'm getting used to this mothering jazz..
Met up with another BB member today - was cool!! Pity DS spent most of the time on me cos he was a little bit shy!!!
