Just yelled at my mum. Feel kinda weird as ive never let rank at her before. Am glad i did but still kinda feel weird. Just about them having Christmas without us. Told her how its upset me that me and my kids are going to miss out. She said oh we'll still have it in the new year.. i said yeh but you will have already done the presents and everything. She said well its my SIL who organised it. I said SO WHAT! She said that SIL and my brother are pi$$ed off that i couldnt make it for my niece's 1st birthday. I said yeh because DH was working and im not driving all that way with 2 kids in 1 day to have no one help me up there look after them. She said what do you mean about not helping whenever youve needed help we've come to you. I said yeh right i needed your help when Jesse was sick and you were too busy. She said well we've always come to you since Keiras been born.. i said yeh cos i cant look after 2 kids by myself (in a non child proofed house) 24/7 while im up there, no one helps me and i said theres no where to sleep both kids as theres only 1 portacot and Jesse's still in a cot. She just agreed with that (????). Then she said and whos fault is that Kelly. I was like what the F??? Oh i bit my tongue then! She then just said well dont get angry at me im in the middle here. I said yeh but SIL ISNT MY FAMILY! She said well you are the one who lives in Windsor. I said so now its my fault for living so far away thats what its about. She said well no but you could come up here when DH is off. I said yeh i wanted to this weekend but nephew has a party. She said my sister said that we could still have it. I said well you never told me that. She said why should nephew have to miss out.. i said why should Jesse and Keira miss out!? She then kept saying oh i didnt organise it, it was SIL. I said well you tell SIL that im p!ssed and upset that she has excluded me and my family from HER get together with MY FAMILY! Then she kept saying oh well SIL and brother are p!ssed at me for not going to niece's birthday. Eh i said well i better go cos ive had enough of this conversation and i need to feed Jesse.
Man im shaking after that. Ive never gone phsyco like that at her or really anyone much. Im glad i got it out though. Im sick of having to bite my tongue and letting it all eat at me. Anyways.. who knows if we'll talk again before Christmas.. i certainly wont be making the first phone call.
Im still around and just trying to get everything done. Well Went to castle hill today to get matts present. Kell glad you told me to take some one...big box.. Im sorry your mum and COW of a SIL are giving you hell. How rude. I hope your mother will stand up for you. Take care hun
Oh Kell I'm sorry you had a big fight with your mum....Sounds like SIL is a bit of a favourite! I would be SOOO angry! I hope you talk before xmas though and I hope the plans get changed to include Jesse and Keira. The way I see it 1 nephew misses out for a couple of hours while he is at a party, then comes home and gets his presents the same day or Jesse AND Keira miss out and don't get anything until next year.

Kellxx - well done you!! You might be shaking and anxious as hell about it, but seems like it was well deserved... Maybe you'll feel better once you get over the shakes - always good to get it off your chest. NOBODY could fault you for looking out for your kids, and really that's what it has come down to.
Ok im back. Had some deep breaths and a few tears on DH's and a friends shoulders and im actually really happy i said what i said.
Tan.. yep we did.. and i love it! Im going to dress Keira in it tomorrow when we go out and will take some photos! Will go check out Ash's pics in a sec. Thanks hun. Yeh theyll still get presents but it just wont be our big family gathering and all handing out presents.. will be the first year we dont do it that way which to me is really sad. Especially when Jesse is so into Christmas this year. But anyways.. least i have my own family and ILs that give a *****.
