Mez.. thats great Izzy's loving her food. I do the same with my kids. Ill be giving Keira farex, but after that she'll be having vegies first before the fruit. Just with Jesse i was told to do it that way otherwise they get a sweet tooth and tend to favour their fruit and sweet things other than vegies. All changes when they hit 2 though lol. Though in saying that Jesse doesnt like lollies either!
Tenny.. oh how cute with the raspberries! Keira just likes to spit lol. Very lady like i know. Yes you can use Skype like msn. You dont have to have a mic or camera. And if you have a camera hooked up it wont come on automatically, you have to select it.
Kristy.. hun, i think the boys will work out for themselves about your FIL. I did with my grandfather. I havent seen or heard from him since i was about 8 and actually i think now i think about it, he may be dead. Shows i have nothing to do with him. Your boys will learn to appreciate your friends and family they have around them. Your FIL aint worth the anger.

IL's will be coming over tomorrow morning when Jesse wakes to see him open his pressies. Will be fun. Am going to make Sticky Buns tonight for us to have for breaky mmmmmm sooo good. Will pop them in the fridge and put them in the oven when we wake up.. oh they will smell sooooo good! Gonna pick up some crossaunts (sp?) too.

Poor Jess is worse. He had what looked like the flu boxing day.. same yesterday.. then had diarrhea yesterday.. with my paranoia i had a bucket already near by and this morning he was sitting on the floor and just went white as a ghost. I picked him up and sat on the lounge and he threw up in the bucket. My nerves are still racing. DH was at work too. Have called the Doctor Call Out Service as my thoughts after research is he may have a middle ear infection and may need antibiotics (although hes not saying his ears hurt or anything?) and i dont want to be sitting in a waiting room hours on end with the chance he'll be sick there. He seems ok atm. Is drinking the gastrolite in small amounts.
Kel - I hope Jess gets better. Could be an ear infection - how's his temp? DS has an ear infection and we didn't even know it!!!! He wasn't pulling on his ear or anything.
We dropped his day sleep yesterday - he went down at 6.45pm last night and slept until 7am!! wooooohooo!!! it was so lovely last night to eat our dinner and have a glass of wine without a certain somebody climbing all over us!!!!!!!
Mel.. he had a temp the night before last and also yesterday afternoon when he woke from his nap.. so yeh thats probably what it is. I found a website you can put symptoms into and it gives you possible diagnoses and yeh middle ear comes up. Actually now i think about it yesterday i was trying to ask him where's ouchy? he was saying nose nose.. he had a runny nose atm so just thought it was that, but maybe he meant in his ears but just knew it hurt. Who knows! Hopefully the doctor can give him some antibiotics for it. Oh i bet that was nice quiet house from 7pm. Jesses at that in between stage atm where if he doesnt have a sleep hes falling asleep at the table at 5.30pm and if he does then hes awake til past 7.30-8pm.
Tasia.. hows the rash? I know Jesse and even keira have had a similar thing. Usually after they have had a sweat but yeh didnt lead to anything. Hope Jonathan is ok.
Well we were going to start Keira on solids today. Might still if i can get Jess to have a sleep.. im sure hes going to definately need one.
I forgot to add.. is anyone else having hair issues?? I didnt have it for the first 2 months or so with Keira but now i am finding my hair everywhere! Its driving me nuts! So sick of it falling out!
yeah we decided to knock out the day sleep cos he has been going down around 9.30 or 10.30pm!!!! Far too late!!!
Went good yesterday, thought he was going to go to sleep when I took him for a ride in the stroller up to the shops, but he didn't.
ETA: - And yes - hair is falling out constantly.
I spoke to the doc yesterday about starting solids - he agreed with me that she isn't showing any signs of wanting to start, so we will start around 6 months - if she is ready then.
Hey Mel.. when Aricyn had his ear infection was he sicK? as in threw up? Jesse seems ok now. Still has a runny nose.. hes asleep on the lounge atm.. hes had a dry biscuit to eat and has been drinking the gastrolite. He has a moon tan like me so he looks pale all the time, its hard to see sometimes if he is really sicky looking.

Yeh im unsure of what to do with Keira. My only thing is, shes still on 5 bottles and come her last bottle, no matter what time i give it to her, shes then awake now for an hour or so. Even if i try and dream feed her, shes waking up. So i dont know if it will work, but im thinking of trying to cut out a bottle and start the solids, this being give her her last bottle about 8pmish just before when she usually falls asleep, then not wake her again before we go to bed. Hmmm.. might give it a go.

On hair loss OMG my hair is everywhere doesnt help that Jacob pulls at it lots grr!!!
Before preg I used to loose a bit, during preg basiclly nothing but now its making up for it!
Well He is offically being the worlds worst sleeper! waking soooo many times over night and when put back down waking anywhere from immediatly to 2 hrs later. He is not having proper feeds is snacking lots and no matter what i try cant get him to feed for longer he hest distracted even if we r in a silent dimmed room grrrrr. he is very grizzly irratible and clingy!!!! and guess what i am irratable and grizzly also!!! for last 5 nights he has ended up in our bed from 4 am ish and i am soooooooooooooo sore as i dont move once he is in bed with us and my hips are still stuffed from pergnancy.

Kell awwwwwww poor jes. I have no idea what could be wrong with him. Sorry he threw up too knowing how you are with the sick thing. Always the way, happens when DH is not there and its up to you. Has he settled??
As for Keira, how did she go. Did you start on the solids. Liam is now on 3 meals a day ( farex in the morning, custard for lunch and atm potato and carrots for dinner) he loves it well sort off not real keen on the potato etc. He is only haveing 3 bottles a day of 250mls and will drink at least 200 but most times its the full 250. He is getting really fat. Well I think so. He has dimples in his legs... Nope kell no hair falling out to much unless I straighten it.
Hey feeb oh you poor thing. Now I know its going to sound sh&t what im going ot say but you really need to stop him in your bed as he will get use to it and you dont want it. With the feeding, I know your tired, but use a dummy and stretch it out for 4 hrs. Ofter 150 - 200mls, evern if it takes a hr to give and with in time it will work. I had to do that with callum for about a week. Good luck hun!!!
Im having the same problem as you Arimeh in the sleeping. If Callum has his day sleep he is up to 9 + and its driving me in sane. The last couple of days he hasnt been having his sleep but its hard keeping him up past 4pm, he wants to sleep so we have to quickly feed and bath him and he goes down about 6 - 6.30pm now but is up pretty early. Well in our bed about 5am but most times he will just lay there and wait for me to wake.

Well i was up at the crack of a sparrows fart this morning.. hey whats new! lol but.. had to get up to go to the doctors about my anxiety. She just does walk ins on Sundays so wanted to be there before they opened to be one of the first in. Anyways. Shes trying me on some medication. She said theres either that or councilling about it but it seems me telling myself everythings ok, and everyone else, doesnt seem to be making any difference. So will see how it goes.
On the plus side.. Jesse slept through in his big bed.. no whinge no whine no sound from him all night even when i put him in there!! He just went to sleep as if it was old news! Then came into our room at 6.30am and jumped into bed with us for a little bit! Oh i was so impressed!! So looks like we may have grabbed the process at the right time. If all goes well tonight will take down his cot tomorrow!
On the downside... Keira was wide awake at 4am! Grrrr. Shes as stubborn as an old mule she is. Squeeling her little head off. Wouldnt settle with anything but a bottle. As soon as she got that she was out again. So hmmm might relook at dropping that 5th bottle out. See what happens today.
Tenny.. yeh hun it will work itself out, i guesss when he just doesnt need it. Just keep going as you are as it seems to be working well. Thats great Hayden is loving his food!!! Im hoping i dont have a fussy child this time round too!

Well had a good day yesterday nice & quiet. I did the laundry, plus my sisters clothes she said to me "Tas while ur doing laundry can u do mine as well" in my head i'm like wtf. But i didn't say anything to her, i should've. Then when i finished hanging the clothes outside, i was getting Jonathan's bottle ready, my sis then said to me "I'm hungry" then i said to her "if u want breakfast, help urself, i'm busy" she then said yeah ok..... Anyway. So yeah, last night my bro had pizzas and drinks (i didn't drink), all my both my sis were there, bil, cousin, it was a good night. I needed to get out of the house. I haven't gone out of the house in a long time. My sil's neighbour came over as well, it was the first time i met her, she has a 7 month old baby, very small baby. But she's cute, anyway, we were talking about bottles & **** & i told them that Jonathan still sometimes has six bottles still, the last one he has is during the night between 2-4am, I tried doing the every 6 hour bottle but nah doesn't work, he won't drink all of his 240mls, so i still have to put in 180mls every four hours. I have increased his brekky this morning, & will increase more pumpkin & potatoe today for dinner & see how he goes.
Oh i forgot to mention, on new yrs day Jonathan & I when to my il's house for lunch. My fil, gave Jonathan beer in his mouth & i looked at him like wat r u doing, but didn't say anything I bit my tongue. I swear to god, (not u god u know wat i mean), if he does it again i will tell him not to.
