Morning all!

Well my computer looks like its about to pack it in so.. woo woo for me.. im now typing on my new laptop wooot! Its a bugger to navigate without a mouse though so will go pick on up today.

Tan & Mel.. oh so jealous you 2 got to meet up! But thats great you had a good time and the kids were so good. Ahh yes that happens with kids. The joys.

Tan.. ohh swweeeeeet and yay for your new car!! How exciting! What type did you get?

Mez.. the challenge sounds like a great idea. Im back to my pre baby weight but just need to tone as i dont look the same no more lol.. more curves in different places! I really need to find time for the wii fit. Hopefully now Christmas is gone and everything all settles down ill be able to get it out more.

Tasia.. i think all men are like that until we have a nervous break down because we've had no time to relax.. either that or theyre home by themselves with the kids for a day. DH was saying to me Jesse musnt be eating well or getting the vitamins he needs cos he was whingy the other day (a day DH had off). I said well, hes just been sick.. but thats what i hear every day.. hense me always saying im so sick of hearing whinge! They so dont understand that looking after a kid doesnt mean you get to sit on your butt all day

Tenny.. woohoooo on Haydens 2nd tooth!!!! What a clever monkey not even comlaining!! Lets hope the rest are that way too

Past 2 nights ive been eaten alive by mozis.. yet cant find the bastards! Dont ya hate that!!

Keiras on 2 solids meals a day now.. farex for breaky and veges for dinner. She had her first lot of vegies last night. Had a few funny faces but she seemed to enjoy them in the end. Shes also FINALLY drinking 200mls each feed, or close to!

Ok i need a coffee i think... have a nice weekend everyone.

Hey folks
Had a bit of a rough couple of days here, not much sleep on NYE for various reasons (that's a whole nother post) and Beth has been sick and teething so keeps waking up during the night and unbelievably clingy during the day. Poor little muffin, she has been feverish as well. Took her to the docs yesterday and got treated like a hysterical first time mother I guess I'm not supposed to waste their time unless she is at death's door. Of course as soon as you get to the doctors she is suddenly happy and alert, and her fever has gone down because I had to give her panadol cause she was roasting. ANYWAY.

Tenny wow on Haydie's teeth. He sounds like Beth with the rolling. She's not that into it. would rather cry until someone moves her. She has started kind of crawling... she can go a little way to retrieve a toy.... scary!
Tan hope you had a great time with Mel, can't wait to see pics! Yeah she said her hotel wasn't too flash! LOL and she has BB withdrawals!
Chantel sounds like you had a great NYE but the lack of sleep is a killer when you have to look after a baby the next day isn't it!
Kristy it sounds like your boys are doing great! LOL at leaving DH with all three - good on you!
SW bummer on the spiders. Bear got a message from Zee a few days ago, but we haven't heard since so yeah we are worried too.

Morning!

Its a very overcast day today and a little cooler than it has been. so yay 4 that.
The boys were a bit unsettled last night too but they finally calmed down and slept till 7.30am. Isaac woke at 6 as usual, slept with us for 30mins than insisted on weetbix. It going to be a quiet day here just mowing the grass and doing some work in our play room / shed.

pixie- God some Dr's can be idiots. i am lucky that i found a great Dr in richmond for me and the kiddies. Don't worry i recon i have been to the Dr hundreds of times for isaac in the last few years. better safe than sorry i think. Hope beth is feeling better soon mate.

kell- yay for the new laptop when did you get it?

Tennykins- thanks. and it must be a boy thing with the not rolling, lazy little buggers, typical men.

missy- got your sms this morning but forgot to reply. we had a great new year thanks. I'm glad you had a good holiday. was callum a terror was he? hehe bey Ike would be worse.

Well Ive been washing all day. Got about 10 loads to do. I forgot I had about 3 before we left and came home to that. I did the house work before we went away but didnt bother about the washing as thought we wouldnt have much from the holiday. Well was I wrong...lol..

kristy hun just replying to your new years eve text as we had no receiption down there so only got it when we got back yesterday. So I was replying to you hun...lol. The only way to get texts was to stand on a sand hill on the beach and I only went down there once to ring mum. Anyways yes Callum was a little sh*t there. Naughty naughty boy he was. Told me to shut up and everything. I was NOT happy.

kell yay on the lap top. There great hey. Good that you can take it anywhere. I always sit on the lounge or in bed with it. I love mine. Awwwww way to go Keira, 2 solids and 200mls. Clever girl. Now she will be the porker...heheheh

Pix poor little beth. Is funny how they are dying then you take them to the doc and they are all happy and well. Makes you look like your so over the top but as soon as you get them home their a mess again. I so know that feeling. Hope she is feeling better soon. Sorry couldnt make new years eve but looked at the photos and they look great hun. hope you had fun.

Kristy - Yeah, Lol. Typical men. Have you started your little men on solids yet? How much are they drinking?

Pixie - That's always the way with the doctors. I'm sorry they treated you like that. I think it's better to be safe then sorry too, but the doctors don't think about it like that.

Kell - YAY! New laptop! Go Keira with now drinking 200ml and eating 2 meals. That's great. I'm going to start vegies as a second meal next week. So he'll probably have fruit in the morning and vegies at night. I'm hoping it works out. One can only hope. He's a porky and drinks 240mls for a few bottles and then like only 200ml for the other. Have you cut out a bottle for Keira? How many does she have now?
Tell me about the mozzie bites. They always attack me the most while I sleep. DS1 is getting it too. Not sure if Haydie is like us that way yet, but we put up the mosquito net thing around his cot just to be safe.

Missy - WOW. So much washing. I hope you got it all, or most of it done and the weather was good.

We've had the grumpiest boy here today. Sometimes he'll be his happy self then other times he's so grumpy and whingy and even whinges when we hold him. The bonjella and some nurafen worked a treat and let him have a semi decent sleep. Naughty little teeth.
I doesn't help he's so overtired but still only has a tiny 10 min cat nap.

We've just been doing a bit of gardening today. It's coming along great. It's starting to feel like it's our place and not just some where we're staying, you know.
I think we'll make some garden beds in the backyard tomorrow..

I can't believe in like a couple weeks my little boy will be 5.
When I had him It didn't feel so close to Christmas but geez, it comes up fasttt! He already worked out what we're going to get him for his birthday, the cheeky little monkey.

Pixie.. oh dear you poor thing. We've all been there hun. I was the same with Jesse and his gastro. As soon as he threw up that first time i was at the hospital. But yeh they can get fevers with teething unfort. Hope shes ok now. Panadol is a great thing and really good for that sort of thing. Even if they are overly grizzley.. they cant tell you whats wrong unfort. But if youre ever unsure, its better to be safe than sorry and get her checked out. Even if they make you feel like that.. least you did the right thing. hope tonight is a better one for you.

Well i have 2 kids in bed woohoo! Jesse is in his big bed for the, real, first time tonight (he sleeps in it during the day though). He went to sleep fine. Did our usual routine and i just walked out. Havent heard a peep and that was about 2 hours ago now. So hopefully he goes well tonight and we can take the cot down in his room soon! Give him more space in there.

Kell - YAY Jesse with his big bed!I hope the rest of the night goes great with him. Some days haydie only has 4 bottles, but I really want to cut it back to 4 all the time. I guess it'll figure itself out.

I forgot to mention he had some mango the other day cause DP was eating one.. he loved it. I couldn't stand the smell of it though, I hate mangoes and their smell. Lol.
We also gave him some potato tonight while we were having dinner and he seemed to like that, so fingers crossed he keeps on liking it too.

Well i was up at the crack of a sparrows fart this morning.. hey whats new! lol but.. had to get up to go to the doctors about my anxiety. She just does walk ins on Sundays so wanted to be there before they opened to be one of the first in. Anyways. Shes trying me on some medication. She said theres either that or councilling about it but it seems me telling myself everythings ok, and everyone else, doesnt seem to be making any difference. So will see how it goes.

On the plus side.. Jesse slept through in his big bed.. no whinge no whine no sound from him all night even when i put him in there!! He just went to sleep as if it was old news! Then came into our room at 6.30am and jumped into bed with us for a little bit! Oh i was so impressed!! So looks like we may have grabbed the process at the right time. If all goes well tonight will take down his cot tomorrow!
On the downside... Keira was wide awake at 4am! Grrrr. Shes as stubborn as an old mule she is. Squeeling her little head off. Wouldnt settle with anything but a bottle. As soon as she got that she was out again. So hmmm might relook at dropping that 5th bottle out. See what happens today.

Tenny.. yeh hun it will work itself out, i guesss when he just doesnt need it. Just keep going as you are as it seems to be working well. Thats great Hayden is loving his food!!! Im hoping i dont have a fussy child this time round too!

Mmmmmm macca's ice coffees are so good. I highly recommend them.

Morning everyone

Well had a good day yesterday nice & quiet. I did the laundry, plus my sisters clothes she said to me "Tas while ur doing laundry can u do mine as well" in my head i'm like wtf. But i didn't say anything to her, i should've. Then when i finished hanging the clothes outside, i was getting Jonathan's bottle ready, my sis then said to me "I'm hungry" then i said to her "if u want breakfast, help urself, i'm busy" she then said yeah ok..... Anyway. So yeah, last night my bro had pizzas and drinks (i didn't drink), all my both my sis were there, bil, cousin, it was a good night. I needed to get out of the house. I haven't gone out of the house in a long time. My sil's neighbour came over as well, it was the first time i met her, she has a 7 month old baby, very small baby. But she's cute, anyway, we were talking about bottles & **** & i told them that Jonathan still sometimes has six bottles still, the last one he has is during the night between 2-4am, I tried doing the every 6 hour bottle but nah doesn't work, he won't drink all of his 240mls, so i still have to put in 180mls every four hours. I have increased his brekky this morning, & will increase more pumpkin & potatoe today for dinner & see how he goes.
Oh i forgot to mention, on new yrs day Jonathan & I when to my il's house for lunch. My fil, gave Jonathan beer in his mouth & i looked at him like wat r u doing, but didn't say anything I bit my tongue. I swear to god, (not u god u know wat i mean), if he does it again i will tell him not to.

Tasia - Oh I would have said something to my FIL if he did that. Isabel has put the beer bottles in her mouth but hasn't had any, it's so funny to see I should upload a pic for everyone to see. She has this fascination with bottles for some reason lol.

Tannis - How exciting a new car! How is beautiful Ash? Can't wait to see pics of your catch up with Mel and the kids.

Pixie - I can't believe docs sometimes I'm like you if there is something wrong with Isabel I take her to the Drs it's better to be safe than sorry I say.

Tenny - How did little Hayden sleep for you last night? I haven't given Izzy any fruit yet want her to eat all her veggies first. But that's just me.

We are having a hard time with Izzy lately I think that it's her teeth. Poor little bubs all she does is cry (very annoying) but I do feel for her. She is very clingy too. I find that when she is on the floor playing if she moves one of her toys out of her reach she gets very frustrated and just cries until someone gives it to her. Oh and she has started to sit woohoo...

Well better get on with my day considering I haven't done anything, it's been a lazy morning here.

We've been doing it every year since Jesse was born so this is our 3rd one.

Mez.. oh Keira is the same.. little miss moody katoody. Id say its the teething making her extra irritable too.. or could just be the little girl coming out of her.. being demanding already Im the same with the veg/fruit. Everyone has their different ways to do things.

Tasia.. oh i would have let loose at your FIL if it was my kids! I dont get what it is with old people and them insisting on giving others babies alcohol or sips of coke or whatever?? Like whats the benefits of that, other than them looking like a smart a$$ and stuffing up the kids kidneys!! Next time definately say something if you do want him to do it, otherwise i can see it becoming a common thing each time FIL has a beer and Jonathans around. Oh peehh at your sister too. Another child to look after. Make sure you take some time for you too ok hun. Its very nice of you helping everyone else out but you deserve some for yourself ok

Hi all

Well not feeling very well today. Feeling abit sickish in the tum. To much washing I think. Ive been washing all day yesterday and today. Cant believe the washing is never ending. Never again will I leave it that much!!

Well went in to get Liam up this morning and he was at the top of his cot, on his tummy so he has rolled from his back to his tum. First time. I was very proud..

Liam doesnt seem to like his vegies much. He loves his apples, farex, custard but when I get to him of a night with his vegies, oh boy does he carry on. Evern before Ive given it to him he starts screeming. I now have to put 2 tbls of farex, 1 tbls of apples and 4 tbls of pumkin or what ever vegie he is trying for that night. He has had potato, carrots and now pumkin. Will try him on broccolie tomorrow night. Ive done a heap of vegies and put them in the freezer. Have about 3 weeks of vegies all made up.

Well night number 2 Jesse slept perfect in his big bed! So i think we have a winner! yay! We even left his door open when he was going to sleep and even though he had a bit of trouble getting to sleep, he never came out at all. So so proud! Cot will be coming down now yay.
Another positive for us.. Keira is now sitting up!!! Decided to try her out sitting up by herself on the floor at IL's yesterday evening when we were there for dinner.. low and behold.. sitting like a pro!

Missy.. oow little Liam sounds like he has a sweet tooth! Jesse never use to like my home cooked veges but would love the jar stuff so for him we stuck to that as its all just as good.. just a little more $$ though. Hope you get all your washing done soon.. least the weather is good for it atm.

Tasia.. oh i know hun it is hard to get the time.. but even when Jonathan is asleep.. take some time out from the house work to just sit and have a cuppa. Thats all you need to do. Read a book or watch some tv. Just take your mind off everything else. You just need those little times to yourself where youre not running around like a mad thing looking after the house and everyone else. You need to look after yourself too hun ok

I tell ya that damn mozzie in our room.. when i find the little bastard ohhh hes gonna wish he never entered this house! 4 nights now i have been eaten alive by it. Turn the lights on or come day light.. hes no where to be seen. Jesse gets bad mozzi bites too.. plus him scratching doesnt help

Home day for us.. think ill try and tidy the house. Once Jesse goes down for his nap i think ill take the Christmas tree down.. although ive been saying that for days and still cant be a$$ed

Morning everyone, just waves from me this morning too......I'm on a "good housewife" frenzy....house is tidy, dishwasher on, baked gingerbread men yesterday, 2nd load of washing on, taken Chris to work, kids up and dressed.....Going prom dress shopping today for my niece, might try on a wedding dress while I'm there

Tas: Meant to post yesterday...**** @ your FIL!! I would have gone psycho!! I went psycho @ my FIL a couple of months ago for giving Jayden a choc biscuit! I'm a mean Mummy, Jayden isn't allowed chocolate, soft drink or lollies....there is plenty of time for that later but for as long as I can keep it away from him the better! JIO of course

Oh not sure if I mentioned what car we bought.....Its a Mazda 6, beautiful to drive!!
