We had such a great day! Were up at 6.00amish.. called the IL's and they came around and the kids opened their presents. Jesse is absolutely nuts about his basketball ring. Was playing it all day and this morning. His bike was a BIG hit also. We then had a champaine breakfast with my sticky buns (YUMO!) and ham and cheese crossaunts mmmmmmm. IL's then went home and we had a lazy morning. I watched my fav show Jon & Kate Plus 8 (marathon on fox woo!). Then we went to the IL's abour 4.30pm for Christmas dinner. They do christmas with family friends every year. So there was a heap of us there and oh my Jesse was the bestest boy ever. I cant believe we had no tantrums and he was just perfect. With only adults to play with also he had a great time. Ate his dinner (shock horror!) joined in all our toasts and singing (was so cute) and we didnt leave until 10pm. So was a whoppa of a late night for him but he was just so good. I was so happy. Keira was her usual perfect self of course.. little lady. So we also saw some Christmas lights on the way home which was so nice to end our day. Both kids went straight to bed without any problems and both slept in until 7.30am this morning! WOOWOO! So yes we've had a wonderful Christmas in this house!!!! The best yet!

Mel.. oh dear i hope M is better soon poor pet. Make sure you keep an eye on it ok.. just being under 6 months if the have the runs or are vomitting they need to be monitored in hossy just to make sure they dont dehydrate.

Tenny.. aww poor Elijah. Ouchy. Yeh not much you can do for lips.. ice blocks are great if its swollen and sore though.
Dh is at work today. Least he had yesterday off. He's got new years and the day after off though which is good. So just another lazy day for us here. Am not doing anything! Many watching Jon & Kate Marathon again.
Thanks Kel - she takes about 30ml of formula now - so craig has just gone down to the chemist to get some gastro stuff for her.. Not nice in cloth I say!! Already had the gloves on this morning for one - and her bum has exploded again - so I'd better go change it.
Mez - yay for izzy's tooth!!! these chickens will be a year old before we know it!!!
My IL's gave us a weird present for Miss M - a talking bear reciting the real story of xmas - like - the christian story. #1 - we don't do xmas, #2 - we aren't religious!!! And they know this....
Anyhoo - must be grateful that she got something - but they gave DS an awesome metal tonka truck and she gets a religious, jesus pushing talking bear!!
Hey everyone! Hope you had a great Chrissy! We went to my stepmother's sister's place with my dad and his family, the Bear's parents came along too. there were about a dozen people there. We had a seafood lunch and then a HUGE Christmas dinner of pork, lamb, duck and vegies, followed by five kinds of dessert! had a swim with Beth during the day, no one got too drunk, no one got into arguments, not even the kids. Beth was great and everyone doted on her. it was a late night though, she was crying after her last feed and the second her head hit the bed she was completely conked! Fantastic day.

Mel - What a strange present from the ILs. That's something MIL would do to us when she knows very well we're not religious. It makes me kinda angry that she doesn't respect our us in that way, if you get what I mean. I hope DD gets better. Poor little chicken.
Feeb - The threat of no Santa hasn't worked for me so far either. He didn't even stop being naughty half the time.

Our Christmas was great. Santa is a great bloke and seems to bring the best pressies. The huge remote control car that the big man brought is awesome. You can even put your ipod on it to play music while you drive the car around. I tested it out with some Missy Higgins blaring.
Elijah had the best time. He was nonstop all day and he didn't even fall asleep in the car on the way home which was suprising since it was like 9:30-10pm and he got up before 6:30am.
Haydie was his angel self. Full of smiles and everything. I was so suprised since the day before was such an awful day and today hasn't started off that well either with his clingy whingyness. So I don't think people believe me when I say he was grumpy and stuff cause he's such an angel around them. Lol.
Not much going on with us today. Just cleaned the whole house and took our Christmas lights down cause they were annoying me + that's what caused Elijah's fall the other day.
Btw, His lip is still fat, but it's getting better. Woot!
I might go check out what sales are on at Target later.

Looks like Jesse's coming down with a cold *joy*. Least its only reared itself today and not yesterday. He woke up gagging and coughing early.. yeh made me feel wonderful. He was fine thankfully but i was left in hot sweats. Ehh will this ever leave me! Prob not

Tasia.. is it hot there? Could it be a heat rash? I know my kids get them alot around this time of year.. just little red dots. Im not 100% sure but if he had a reaction to the potato i would think it would be over his chest and kinda more blotchy than dots.. i think?

Mel.. what the! We have a christmas bear that tells the night before christmas story but lol jesus? weird! Aww poor dear hope she gets better soon. Not sure if she can use it so young but we found the Gastrolite great for Jesse.
DH is still at work He started at 6am this morning! So thats nearly 12 hours hes been there. Hope he gets home soon. IL's came around earlier and dropped off a heap of left overs from yesterday mmmmmm.. we'll be set for a little while now i think!
Kel- It wasn't that hot today, not sure how much it reached to be honest, it's not heat rash, but he does get heat rash though, but on his forehead it looks kinda different. He hasn't got dots on his chest just exzema. But on his forehead there are tiny dots not red, when i put him in the light u can see them, he never had them before. I will c how he goes in the next few days. The photos r gorgeous. We didn't take photos we just took videos.

well we had a huge Christmas. Oh the kids got way to much. Callum was so excited. He didnt go to sleep untill 11.30 on xmas eve and was up at 6.30 xmas day. He, Liam, Melissa and DH came into the room to wake me up with the vid camer. Oh wasnt a good site....lol We open'd up the pressies and Callum opened up most of Liams. It was so cute. All the kids did very well and Melissa couldnt believe how much we got them. She was so so thankful. She said I got to much and I proabably did but you know what she is so thankful for what she got so It was all worth it. Callum was just overwelmed as he didnt know what to play with first. Hey Kell matt loved his pressies and he and Melissa have been jaming ever since Matt didnt care about anything else just his toy...lol.. I did very well too I got a Ipod, my new blender which will come in handy as Im now giving liam solids(I used it tonight for potato and carrots), Navigator for the car, nice pants and top ...I didnt want anything as I just wanted to see the kids looks on their faces and it was all my xmas's at once.
Sorry no personals today. Im stuffed as I was washing most of the day and the rest swiming with callum.

hey Kell how is little jes going. I hope he is feeling better soon. Melissa is getting a cold too and its worse in the summer I think then in the winter.

Poor Jess is worse. He had what looked like the flu boxing day.. same yesterday.. then had diarrhea yesterday.. with my paranoia i had a bucket already near by and this morning he was sitting on the floor and just went white as a ghost. I picked him up and sat on the lounge and he threw up in the bucket. My nerves are still racing. DH was at work too. Have called the Doctor Call Out Service as my thoughts after research is he may have a middle ear infection and may need antibiotics (although hes not saying his ears hurt or anything?) and i dont want to be sitting in a waiting room hours on end with the chance he'll be sick there. He seems ok atm. Is drinking the gastrolite in small amounts.
Kel - I hope Jess gets better. Could be an ear infection - how's his temp? DS has an ear infection and we didn't even know it!!!! He wasn't pulling on his ear or anything.
We dropped his day sleep yesterday - he went down at 6.45pm last night and slept until 7am!! wooooohooo!!! it was so lovely last night to eat our dinner and have a glass of wine without a certain somebody climbing all over us!!!!!!!
Mel.. he had a temp the night before last and also yesterday afternoon when he woke from his nap.. so yeh thats probably what it is. I found a website you can put symptoms into and it gives you possible diagnoses and yeh middle ear comes up. Actually now i think about it yesterday i was trying to ask him where's ouchy? he was saying nose nose.. he had a runny nose atm so just thought it was that, but maybe he meant in his ears but just knew it hurt. Who knows! Hopefully the doctor can give him some antibiotics for it. Oh i bet that was nice quiet house from 7pm. Jesses at that in between stage atm where if he doesnt have a sleep hes falling asleep at the table at 5.30pm and if he does then hes awake til past 7.30-8pm.
Tasia.. hows the rash? I know Jesse and even keira have had a similar thing. Usually after they have had a sweat but yeh didnt lead to anything. Hope Jonathan is ok.
Well we were going to start Keira on solids today. Might still if i can get Jess to have a sleep.. im sure hes going to definately need one.
I forgot to add.. is anyone else having hair issues?? I didnt have it for the first 2 months or so with Keira but now i am finding my hair everywhere! Its driving me nuts! So sick of it falling out!
yeah we decided to knock out the day sleep cos he has been going down around 9.30 or 10.30pm!!!! Far too late!!!
Went good yesterday, thought he was going to go to sleep when I took him for a ride in the stroller up to the shops, but he didn't.
ETA: - And yes - hair is falling out constantly.
I spoke to the doc yesterday about starting solids - he agreed with me that she isn't showing any signs of wanting to start, so we will start around 6 months - if she is ready then.
