Kell what a cow your SIL is! I can't believe she would do that... some people!
Tenny I hope Haydies rash gets better.... this heat is such a killer, the poor little things must be so uncomfortable... and we have no aircon
Mez you poor thing feeling so overwhelmed... i am pretty sure we all have days like that, especially when the little ones are unsettled. Hope you feel better and things get easier.... is DH any help? I was nearly in that state the other night and the Bear came home from work (after a 12 hour day) and took her off my hands for the rest of the evening.
sweetpea, SW, Mel, Belle, Zee, Missy and everyone
well its too hot to remember what everyone has said but big to all, try to keep cool.
I was at the gym just now and Beth was in the creche and she got so upset they had to come and get me out of the class I felt like such a bad mummy for putting her in there! Hope she's not traumatised cause I still have eight more visits
O and the other thing.... we're up to day 4 with no poo..... I'm really getting worried, she has never gone more than about 24 hours without a poo before... and she's drinking constantly, because its so hot any thought of structured mealtimes is out the window, I'm just giving her a drink whenever she wants it.... I'm really worried about the explosion when it comes ! Yesterday I even gave her prune juice with her banana in the hope that it would get something moving.... but so far nothing
MG later today and in the meantime, just trying not to melt!~

    Happy 6mths IZZY!!!!

Just quickly, about to attempt another cake

Pix: The banana could be binding her up, maybe try some prune juice on its own or mixed with water. Don't they say banana can either bind you up or make you go? Hope she goes soon, I know what Ash used to be like when she didn't do them for days!

Pixie - We have no air con either. We'll get it one day, but we've just got other things going on and it's pushed to the wayside, you know. The heat is so awful for his rash and it doesn't help that he doesn't cool down fast either, just like DP. High body temps or something. I just feel like the worst mother in the world cause we don't have the air con to help him. DP tries to reassure me and stuff but Idk I'm just down. Luckily for us today is a mild day to give him (and me) a break. I hope Beth poos soon and it's not all huge and all at once. Good luck with that. We had this poo drama the other day and Haydie screamed cause it must have been stinging his bum cause of the rash. I almost cried for him. Awh, I hope Beth is ok at the creche at your other visits. Missing her wonderful mummy. Haydie is starting to crack it when he's with someone else and can't see me. He did it yesterday when he was with my dad. Hehe.

Mez - Awh, poor little mite. I hope you have a great time at the meetup and your DD isn't whingy or anything. It's awful when you can't do anything for them or they can't tell you what exactly is wrong.

Kell - I can't believe your SIL. That's petty and childish, geez.

I hope you're all having a fantastic day and YAY! It's almost the weekend.

    Along the poo lines.
Haydie had all these little nuggets in his nappy this morning, so he's gone from diahorrea(sp?) ones to these nuggets. Sorry if that's TMI. I wanted to share. Hehehe.
Sleep is still disrupted in our house too. He rolls over in his sleep now too, and that wakes him up and he hates it. We'll get past it... eventually, I hope.

    EDIT:
Hey, Tan!!! We must have been posting at the same time. I hope your cake turns out better this time.

Nah Tenny it was just too hot yesterday to post!!!
Well when I say we have no aircon, that's not exactly accurate... we have about four airconditioners in the garage, most of them in boxes.... its a Bear thing. We don't really have the space to install any of them here, and cause we are right on the water we usually don't really need it. But yesterday!!!!! it was like a desert... hell on earth. We ended up fishing our portable airconditioner out of the garage and setting it up in the lounge room... it took the edge off.. that and going for a swim every couple of hours!
Well the poo came yesterday and it was fine... nothing out of the ordinary at all. Maybe we are just moving to lower frequency poos?? Still trying to get sleeping right.... naps have been a bit all over the place and I think that's part of the reason she has been going to bed really late .... last night didn't get her down until 9pm. it's a PITA cause it means we don't eat dinner till nearly ten.... gonna try to be more disciplined today and make sure she has proper naps.... she's been asleep since 8.30 so first one is on track.
    Anyway... enough about me
Tan saw your cakes! YUM! they look great did you get more rhubarb? We get beautiful rhubarb at the markets but I never know what to do with it!
Mez how did the melb meetup go? how is JessicaKate she doesn't post these days?
Kel did you get a dress for the naming day?
Have we missed any bubba's six months birthday? I can't remember anyway, suppose I'd better go get a life so big to SW, sweetpea, Mel, Missy, Tasia, kristy, Belle, Zee and everyone!

    Morning lovely mumma's & daddy,

Pixie - good to hear that Beth finally did a poo for you and it wasn't an explosion that you were expecting. Izzy normally goes to bed by 7:30 - 8:00pm but sometimes it's 9:00pm depends if she is overtired poor little chicken. hope you get the naps right I just pretty much go with what she wants to do as long as she sleeps through the night I'm happy. Jess & Georgia are doing really well. Our meet up was beautiful, it was a beautiful day so very enjoyable and loved seeing all the little ones again they have grown so much, they were all sitting in highchairs

Tannis - how did your cake turn out?? Love the pics of your kids they are just adorable.

Tenny - Hope Hayden is sleeping better for you sweet. Oh your DS1 is starting school next week right?? Is he excited??

Not much happening today just having a quiet one at home with my princess, maybe do some washing etc. Oh and I have finally got Izzy to sleep in her grobag again woohoo..

    Hi Everyone,

    Hope yourweekends are going well.

I had a pretty full on few days. On Thursday me eldest woke up with a temp of 39.2 and two sore ears. So took her to the dr's middle ear infection in both ears, while there got Reaghans 4month immunisations done (so behind). Friday Reaghan was grumpy all day.

Dh has been working heaps so two 14hr nights Wednesday, Thursday, home friday to sleep it off. Worked yesterday and agian today and tommorrow. So he is not here to help out with the kids to much.

Reaghan has decided she does't sleep threw anymore and has been waking every 3-4hrs. I my dd#2 has been sleep walking again and talking so sleep is none existent.

I think Reaghan is finnnaly going to get teeth. She was chewing on a rusk and there was a bit of blood on it, not sure where from though. She is sitting realy well and has nearly worked out how to get from laying to sitting and visa versa.

This comming week goto get everything ready for my two eldest to go to school DD#2 first year of big school as she calls it and everyday asks if school starts today.

Hope everyones bubs are doing well.
