Kate – I hope you are feeling okay and your BP doesn’t give you too much trouble. It must have been scary for you to be dizzy especially when you were out with Kelsey. We have been cleaning Amy’s teeth from the first one. We got a bit slack in between the others but now she has 8, we clean them twice a day. We started with a rubber toothbrush and now use one with bristles, both are baby toothbrushes. She knows what to do and opens her mouth and she even brushed her own teeth the other night. We just use water.

Rachel – What a clever boy Blake is! You are doing well if you can pull off the birthday party, there are so many at once! We have settled in to the new house and Amy loves it. She actually has room to crawl around. I guess we won’t be bumping into each other anymore at the local shops but we should keep in touch. Your playgroup sounds like a good group. How’s the packing going for Paris? How’s Viv’s skating going?

Hayseed – Bummer about the nausea and AF arriving. I am so happy for you that your cycle is back to normal. LOL at pup drinking the dregs! I’m glad your arm is okay and that you didn’t need stitches, it sounded nasty though. I can just imagine pup in his ‘work clothes’, how cute! Your story about the poo made me laugh!! It has happened twice to me, first thought is get the baby out as she likes to play with it. Yuk!!!

Brooke – The nurse that examined Maya does sound weird! You must be so excited moving to Melb, congratulations on your house settling. Good luck with finishing the packing. I must have missed where in Melb you are moving to?? Maya is sleeping well and three hours in the afternoon is really good. I am the same as you about milk. DH has slowly been introducing Amy. I was thinking of organic food too. DH made a comment that cows eat grass so they can’t really be harmed by the milk. Amy is eating chopped vegies and meat and now feeds herself from her highchair table. Well done on no wrap! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAYA!!!!

Hey Hayseed, when you hard feed the cows, do you put much stuff in their grain?

Bel – How cute with Coby pointing at the moon! Good luck TTC and I hope it comes naturally for you and your DH. Coby’s cake is fantastic!!!!!!!!!! You are very clever.

Vanita – Thanks so much for the info on the doctor. It was great talking to you on the phone too, we will definitely catch up and maybe we could go to Monkey G’s sometime too. DH took Amy to see Dr McCowan and he said she was fine. She is much better now too. How funny with Dion trying to grab his shadow! It’s interesting what you said about socialising. We definitely need to socialise Amy more and even considered family daycare, although we have now changed our minds on that idea. After seeing her cousins walk she started walking on her own so I have no doubt that she would have started walking earlier if she had been socialised more. We are joining a playgroup in Pakenham that our friend goes to. What Maternal Heath Centre do you go to? I have to transfer Amy for her 12 month check up. Speaking of Coke and babies, my friend’s nieces baby has been given Coke from very early and now has holes in every one of his teeth!!!!!!! They are rotten from drinking Coke constantly. I hope Dion is feeling better.

Deb – I would be sticking to my guns about Al and childcare, try not to let them pressure you. He is your baby and you don’t have to do anything you don’t want to, and you know what’s best for him. You could always return to Oz! Congrats on Danish school, you have done very well.
