Kate, thanks for the eczma info, I will go today and get something for him, its just awful. I can't help but think that its the nappies doing it to him, not keeping him dry enough, we use Huggies, and they just don't seem to be working??? I tried the next size up on him last night and it didn't leak, but he was still VERY wet when he got up this morning. I think I just need to break the cycle first and it will be fine. I've heard that those Aldi nappies are made by Huggies, is that right? Dont worry Kelse will be walking soon and when she does, you can put her in the occasional care and have a break for a little while....Not that you'll get much of a break with a new little one though...
Vanita, where are you?
Brookey, you still here honey? Miss ya...
Hay, no, couldn't convince me to use cloth, sorry. I tried an environmentally friend nappy a couple of weeks ago and it was fantastic, overnight, no leaks, so thinking about getting some of them...How's the TTC going? Any news yet?
Rach, you ok? Silly driver, must have been scary for you all... Hope everyone is ok...How did swimming go?
Deb, how are you feeling? How many weeks now? Any scans yet?
Coby and I are off to swimming today, should be fun, he loves it so much. He's so funny now, he dances to Hi-5, and loves "Face" on Nick JR and a few other shows, although he doesn't sit and watch, just glances as he's running past to do something else. He runs into the loungeroom now and goes and sits on his little lounge, and looks like such a big boy. We are constantly amused by him and his antics, very funny to watch. Hes just growing up so fast....so independent too!!
Bel, happy bday for the other day, sorry to hear Coby has eczema bad, I wold try some of the creams Kate has suggested. Glad to hear he is enjoying life, and you too....
Rachel, its a real pill when the car is out of action, especially with the hol's coming up, do you have any big plans?? We are thinking of going to soveriegn hill, and phillip island fairy parade, definately NOT scienceworks LOL. but I am still working so there are days it will be just DH and the kidlets whilst I zzzzzzzz. He is on a months leave ATM. ( just started on Friday) well done with the weight loss, I havent weighed and wont for a few weeks.
Deb, hope you are not tooo exhausted, How is the MS???? Its funny isnt it how different cultures, have different beliefs. I guess you just need to bo true to yours, hope Al enjoys a little time at childcare, and let you have some rest ( it does help, trust me)
Kate, putting Kelsey into occasional care is a good idea, let you have some rest time, and time to "be" with the new bubs.
Hay, LOL there is Noooooo way you could convince me to use cloth either LOL. I tried for 1 day with the twins and cried. so many nappies, at the time we were only on tank water, and we had to pay for water when it ran out ( which was regularly) so cloth nappies just didnt work for us, now I admit I love the convenience of disposable. we use huggies only. You need a 4wd bike from the sounds of it.... Ugh to the flies, you need to go to the gym ( no flies, and air con, he he exercising in comfort LOL)
Bec, allo !!!
Gemma, hello too!!!!
Dion is seeing his paediatrician next week about his chest and his "lack of weight gain" I know theres no answers though.....*sigh* we are all well here and preparing for the fridge arrival, ( any day now LOL) DH is changing some of the cupboards in the kitchen, as we need to move the microwave ( currently on top of our old fridge), and preparing for Rianna's 3rd bday party. just sent out the invites - slacko i am ), the last three night I have gone on a 6-7 km walk with my little sis after the kids in bed, first time we did this walk ( a couple of weeks ago) it took me 2 hrs, we're down to just an hr ( its up and down hills, so quite "cardio" wont be able to go tonight as at work on nights ( have been at training days last 2 days) so surely gotta be doing something?????? ( I still look as fat I reckon!!!)
Hope you are all good, will try keep up....
mwah to all
