Vanita, bummer about having to do all that food prep tomorrow and running around on Sunday. I hope you get time to enjoy yourself, and definitely make sure brekky in bed is on the menu. Re you saying you're going to organise a day away for yourself one year, I used to work with a guy who would play golf with his dad on Fathers day and whose wife would go shopping or movies and lunch with her Mum on Mothers Day. I thought it was a great idea - it's their day, why not do something you enjoy with someone you love?
I just lost a HUGE post. It was a rant about DH and how we had a huge blue last night. God that makes me cross.
But typing it out didn't make me feel any better, so I'm obviously still extremely mad and upset about it.
Men are just such babies sometimes. We should get a mothers day gift from them as some of them want us to just take over the role of mother to them! Stinking husbands....
(you can tell I'm angry hey??)
My DH gets me a Mothers day pressie, and card from him every year, its his appreciation of the job I do, as a mother to his children ( not a very good job tonight, have just boiled the spuds dry and theres the horrid smell of burnt potatoes every where!!! YUK. )
Hay, I am very sorry you had a fight tonight, hope it all resolves, and that this helps to clear the air I agree Men are big babies, and I dont think they actually ever grow up, or grow out of the "selfish" phase, TBH when I get cross over his selfishness, i try remind myself he doesnt mean it, and just doesnt know any better.
