Hi all,
Fran Allesia is going to be bigger than Xavier soon. I have a short a$$
Jas he is absoultley gorgeous. I have to be a little jealous I don't have any fantastic shots of Xavier yet.
Zofia, yay for setting a date.
Jesikah, thats a fantastic sleep, maybe he's getting a liking for sleeping at night.
Hello to everyone else.
Well we had another first today. Xavier went to his first and hopefully last hens night. Well he went for the first 2 hours and then Daddy came and collected him and took him home. I expressed more than 260 ml over the last couple of days so nathan could feed him, thinking he won't even drink all that. Well I was wrong. The little bugger drank alost every last drop. Just enough. We think he kept asking for more wanting his boobie nightcap![]()
Ok wishing good sleeps to all, I'm putting my order in for a sleep in.
Fat chance!!!
Hi all
we have been MIA as we have been at the shack for a few days rest and relaxation. It was really nice to get away and it was Charlottes first trip to the shack. She has been a bit unsettled the last day or two as she just needs to do a poop as it has been 8 days since her last one. This isnt uncommon for her but she definitely needs to do one. I am sure it is going to be a shocker LOL.
I will pop back in later and do some personals.
Jas - I had a look at your photos and Noah is gorgeous as are you!
Hi to everyone else and as I said I will BBL to say a proper hi
Take care
Jem
Morning!!
One of our dogs decided to take himself for a walk last nightI got up at 3.30am to feed Avaleigh (I got NFI WHY she woke up then cause she fed for 40mins at 10pm!!) and I noticed that he was not inside, so I go outside and the back gate is wide open (one of our mates forgot to close it last night) So I tell Jason and he goes for a lil drive at 4am, couldnt find him, went out again at 7am and couldnt find him. So we are hoping someone picks him up and gives a call cause he has a tag with our number on it. So fingers crossed we get the call soon cause today was meant to be a 'family fun day'!! I put my foot down yesterday and said to Jason that none of his friends are to come over, that we are spending it as a family and going out somewhere...
V- laugh at your family fun day!! we were ment to go to my grans for lunch today (lunch is always 3-4pm when they say to come at 12), but i was so tired yesaterday i cancelled and said I need to rest and can only rest when aaron is home to look after Kaetlyn.
My other reasoning was that aaron has been at work all week and studying so he hasnt seen much of her.
Jas- great photos! he is a handsome little devil- very photogenic (?sp)!
Bec- i am a short ass as well, and aaron is not much taller than me- but kaetlyn seems to be really long- my dad was really tall, so maybe she got those genes???
I found some photos of my as a toddler yesterday and Kaetlyn looks just like me, it is uncanny!!
Jemima- can we give them something to make them poop? Kaetlyn was grumpy after not pooping for one day so dont want to imagine what she is like after 8!!!
Well its 1130 and have just had breaky (and a good sleep in!!)- i need to wake kaetlyn up for a feed- i think she is snug in her cot at the moment and it is getting warmer so will have to peel a blanket back for her day sleeps I thjink.
My BB's are full as today- she had demanded more in the last couple of days so my boobies are supplying more- just as they were ment to!! Good BB's!!
I start netball on thurs and then following week I play mon and thurs. V- how did your supply go after the gym- has it decreased? My MIL has me paranoid about my supply decreasing from the increase of physical activity. Is there anything I can do to make sure it doesnt???
well I'll be off!
Hi,
Thanks very much for all your comment I am so proud of my beautiful boy! He's quite a spunk I think!
Hi,
Very tired today. My boy won't sleep when the sun gets up and it's now light at 6.30 in the morning. I've managed to get him back there now, but don't know how long it will last.
The little bugger has also decided that it would be nice to pick that feed in the wee hours of the morning back up, lets say 2.30 in the morning. Oh he was very happy though, handing out the smiles at that un-godly hour. This better be a phase.
Well best go have some chicken soup, (yep at 8.30 in the morning) I have a cold and this crazy scratchy throat, everything I've eaten for breaky so far has been yuck.
There's my selfish post
Hope you all have a good day.
Hi all,
sorry TMI been so busy! Don't get much time to get on the PC lately.
How is everyone and there bubbas going?
Olivia is going really well (stiring right now though) saturday night I decided to let her call the shots re: feeding. We were out at a friends and she went down at 9, then we woke her to take her home at 12, back to sleep at 12:30 and she went through till 8am! So she had 4 feeds yesterday but she had more in the bottle...then last night she went down at 8:30pm and went through to 6:45am!!! I hope she keeps this up for a little bit longer...until she is teething anyway!
Her poos are getting better too.....one horrid one yesterday morning so DH had to get the bath ready to giver her a wash.
Rebecca - don't you just love those smiles when they aren't meant to be smiling!! Olivia does it when she is meant to be sleeping during the day and its hard not to smile back!!!
V - did you find your dog??
Jas - he is SO cute!!! Love the tounge poking out
Is anyone going to do swim lessons with their Bubbas? What age do you start? I was hoping 6 months...can't wait to do them.
I have finished expressingBit sad Olivia won't get anymore b/m before bed (do have some in the frezzer though). But I didn't get much out last night...50ml from both. So DH poured me a bourbon and said "you have earned this"...and it went down a treat too
![]()
Still healing too....hopefully not too much longer. My Dr checked and I don't have a prolapse just scar tissue healing, the nerve endings is probably what I am feeling...also hormones could be making it sore, I think we could still have relaxin is that right???
Well must run, MIL b'day today so going out to have lunch with her and her friends.
Hi to everyone!
Luv Floss - well its Alisa...thought I would use my real name now!!!
Hi all,
WARNING - this is going to be a selfish post LOL so apologises from the start!!
DH went away today for a week - some of you would know that he spends a lot of time away from now until May/June next year (this is a yearly thing). Anyway my moan is that I am finding it sooooo full on by myself and this is only the first day of many many many more. With DH away the days seem so overwhelming - at least when he is coming home at night he is there to help with bathtime and bedtime and for me knowing he is coming home helps me to get through any stressful times during the day. It is just hard as there is absolutely no down time during the day.
In saying all of this I know we will survive but it just daunting knowing this is only the beginning of his away time. DH worries about all of us when he goes away as he knows how full on it is and I know he appreciates and understands what we go through without him here so at least he isnt clueless about how hard it is. I feel like I am not spending any quality time with any of the kids as I am just running from one to the other versus being able to sit with them and take the time to play/read etc. I do play with them all (sometimes seems like that is all I do) but I would like to do more rather than having to stop playing or reading or whatever it is we are doing because someone else needs me. I guess that isnt realistic but I worry that I am not doing enough.
SOrry for the post but I just needed to get this off my chest.
I will definitely do personals tomorrow as Oliver and Jesse are in childcare so the day is mine and Charlottes!!
A big hello to everyone and I hope you and your babes are happy and healthy. Talk to you all soon
Jem

Thought I would add that I NEED chocolate at the moment and there is none in the house and no DH to go and get me some LOL!! AHHHHHHHHH!!!!
Jem, I'd buy you some if I lived close enoughYou definately have the right to vent to us and get if off your chest, with what you must go through every day when DH is away. And I know what you mean about feeling guilty for not having enough time to spend with all the kids one on one. But I read somewhere that kids don't appreciate the quantity of time as much as they appreciate the quality of time. I'm sure the boys and Charlotte all appreciate all that you do for them. I just can't tell you enough, how much I look up to you and Relle, you two are my my savours when I have days when I feel like I can't do it anymore. I hope you enjoy tomorrow alone with Charlotte.
On the at home alone note, DH came home tonight with a date when he will be leaving for Japan for 1 month, not looking forward to that.![]()
Thanks Mel! We will just have to pretend we are eating chocolate!! We will have to support each other when your DH is away for a month. When does he leave?
Have you seen the idol results yet? Not happy - I really liked Jacob and wanted him to stay on a bit longer. I think Matt Corby will win.

Hi Everyone,
Flossie, ummmmm bourbon. I had one the other night too, when the contract on our house went unconditional, it went down really nice!!! And I second your DH you definately deserved one, or two or threeGood to hear that you don't have a prolapse, I still can't believe how good you have been with all the healing re the tear. Do you know yet if you can have another Vaginal delivery? We started Charlize in swimming lessons when she was about 8 month I think. Then she had 2 months off, when Jack was born and she has been back now for about a month or so. She loves it and is getting really good too. She has just started to start kicking while under the water and she can now turn to grab the edge, so clever!!!!!! I plan on starting Jack at around the same age too, I think it's real important for them to learn young, even if you don't have a pool. Good to hear she is sleeping so well, did you notice that she begun to sleep longer once you changed over to formula?
Rebecca, I hope your feeling better.
V, any news on the dog yet? Fingers crossed he is just after a lovely lady friend and will come back unharmed.
Jem, has there been an earth quake yet? But little bugger still does about 2-4 a day, I still can't get over how he can continue to get so big if he poos so much.
Zofia, yey on the wedding date, good luck with it all.
Sara, Do you play indoor or outdoor netball. I used to play alot, but don't anymore due to injury, retired when I was 21, off to see a specialist on thursday actually to see if I still need a op to fix up old ankle injuries. Never worried about it until the babies come along as it only affected me, but now I'll be walking along and trip over for no damm reason, and I'm so scared that I'll be holding one the kids when it happens. So will be interesting to see what he says.
Rebecca, sorry to hear about the early feed starting back up, but I'm sure its just a phase. Jack has been having a 3:00am feed on the odd day here and there too. But I actually prefer this than his usual 4:30am, as I get to back to bed, as Charlize doesn't hear him and stays asleep until around 6. Hope he sleep through tonight.
Well I had the kids weighed again today I was a little concerned about Charlize. She seems to have dropped alot of weight over the last couple of months. And the weigh in proved it, she stayed the exact same weight and I mean exact same 10.28kg, for the last 2 months. So she is now down in the 30th percentile, but the MCHN said it is normal for her to do this at this age, as she is running all over the place. So thankfully there is nothing wrong. She has also grown 6cm thank god, as Jack is now only 18cm behind her, unbelievable hey!! He is now also 7.25kg. That now puts him in the 90th percentile for his weight and his height. He is my little budda!!
Did everyone notice Wollies sale on Huggies today. I went and got 5 boxes. Very cheap, I wanted to get more, but since we are moving in a couple of weeks, thought better not.
Well as I just told Sara, I'm off to a specialist on thursday to get my foot seen too. I have alot of old netball injuries that has completely stuffed it up. But I guess that is what you get when you play 9 games in 1 week for about 5 years straight, stupied girl. Anyway, the stupid thing keeps giving way on me, and I'm scared it will do so while I'm carrying on the kids, especailly down the stairs. I have a xray at the docs, that showed up an old break and alot of calcification or spurs, but he thinks the sharp pains and the tripping over is caused from the ligaments and not so much the spurs. So will be interesting to see if my old team physio was correct by saying I would need an op to repair all the damage in a few years. I hope not, but I guess than I would have to take it easy for awhile and get some help to do chores, that doesn't sound so bad!!!!
Anyway, take it easy all, talk again later.
I hope so. I also really like the two girls.
DH leaves on the 23rd of November and gets back Christmas Eve. I don't know how I'm going to do it. I'm also not looking forward to being in the new big house all alone with the kiddies straight away. I'm hoping mum might come and stay with us for a few nights.
Ummmmm chocolate you made me think of it now, and I have a craving for a Crunchie, ummmmm crunchie, damm it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been so good lately, only 3kg to go until I'm back at Jacks pre pregnancy weight but still 6kg to go until I'm back to my original weight before kids, do you think we will ever be the same????
And I'm curious have you thought, that it was around this time after Jesse and Charlize was born that we conceived Jack and Charlotte, makes me sad in a way. I really miss being pregnant at times, especially when I read the threads from mothers who are due now. I love the excitement of lpre labour and labour itself, makes me want to be a doula or something.
Mmmmmmm Crunchie - thats just what I fee like!! Well done on your weight loss. I have about 4 kilos to go to get back to what I was prior to being pregnant and about 6 to go to get back to my original weight but like you wonder if I will ever get back there!! Although I am not too worried as I havent really done full on exercise yet so I really have to get my butt into gear if I want to lose these last few kilos - oh and stop eating chocolate!!
I hope your mum is able to stay with you for a while - it definitely helps to have someone else around to share the load.
OMG you are right that this is about the time we conceived Jack and Charlotte - amazing. Gee I had better hurry you and get that Mirena put in LOL!! Like you I also miss being pregnant - it is a pretty special feeling isnt it and I miss the build up to labour and meeting a new baby for the first time but there definitelywont be anymore for us. I have also thought about becoming a doula or studying midwifery but I have decided to hold off on the study for the time being as life is already so busy but it is definitely something I will look at down the track.
Mmmmmm I am still craving an crunchie.

HI MUMS
Hope you all had a nice beginning to your week. I nearly went crazy today as it started raining at 6.30 lastnight and is still going, not a break so far!! Its great to be getting some rain, but i had to stay indoors all day! Ethan will only catnap during the day but if i feed him and pop him in the pram and we go for a walk he will sleep for 1hr, didnt happen today! Oh and the new blue metal stones that DH had put on the drive way last time he was home are floating
OK before i do personals...
Jem and Mel, after reading your posts i too am now craving chocolateAnd crunchies are one of my favourites!!
Jem- Until i read your post i had forgotten idol was on!! So thanks cos i just missed it. I didnt want Jacob to go either.
personals..
Veronica- Sorry to hear about your dog taking himself off for a walk in the middle of the night. Hope he is back home now. Did you end up going out for some family time? if you did i hope you all enjoyed yourselves.
Bec- Hugs hun. Sorry that you have the cold, hope the soup helped you. Oh dear @ xavier deciding to have 2.30am feeds again, hopefully its just a phase and will pass soon. I cant get ethan to sleep once the suns up either, I have been trying to put him to bed a little bit later as he wakes up later then, this morning though it was still dark cos of the rainy weather so i got him back into bed for an extra hour, not that i got to go back to bed though as the phone wouldnt stop ringing!!
Alisa- thought i would use your name!! Its great that olivia is going well. When Ethan refused the breast and had to go to ff i was sad too and guess what...my dh gave me a bourbon too lol
Jem- hope you have a better day tomorrow. I know how you feel hun, my DH works away 2wks at a time and he went back to work when ethan was 9 days old, it was so hard and i still have some real tough ones, Considering you have 3 children to my one your doing fantastically, and your a great mum. I dont know how i will cope when we have the next bub's as DH will be in the same job for a few more years yet, but i will cross that bridge when it happens!
Mel- Glad to hear that Charlize is healthy, thats great. WOW @ jacks growth!! He's a gorgous big bubHope everything goes ok with the Dr re your netball injuries, i was big on my netball too until i had a fall and did some damage to my knee and ankles, my dr told me if i want to keep playing do so at my own risk, but he strongly advised me not to as it would end up resulting in surgery, so haven't played since, except for messing around with my sisters. I too hope your mum will be able to stay with you while DH is away, it would help you out heaps.
As for things at my house, I think my little man has definately decided he likes to sleep and my thoughts on that 'Woo Hoo about time' lol, he slept for 10hrs on fri and sat night and 8.5hrs lastnight, it was great, he is an early riser though but i cant complain as atleast im getting some sleep.
I have to leave it here for now as ethan must have known i was talking about him and is trying to get my attention, so its feed time and in bed for hopefully another big sleep.
Goodnight ladies
Mel and Jemima- funny that you both had your bubs in the same months... twice!!! I think that both of you had keep your legs crossed!!! dont want it to happen for a third time!!! boy that wold be hard work three under three.
Mel- mon nights netball is outside and thurs is inside (i have never played indoor netball so should be interesting). I didnt start playing till two years ago! My mum and dad belived that I was better off learning how to cook, sew, clean etc rather than sports. I went to girl guides and sewing school instead!!
Luckily clumsy me has only ever done one injury and that was a broken finger in three places, in the grand final (first center pass of the game). but i played on.... and we lost
Hope all goes well at the appointment on the foot. fingers crossed he has a solution for you that doesnt involve an operation- that would put you out of action for quite a while.
well i am off to bed, aetlyn is finally sound asleepand have minished my reasearch on making cloth nappies
i seem to have caught my sewing bug back (or for the first time in over three years I seem to have some remotly free time)!
Night all
xoxo
(although i think you are all in bed anyway!!!)
LOL at the bourbon...good to see there are some bourbon chicks hereAnd yesteday I had lunch with MIL and her friends and had a nice glass of champers!! That was delicious too
Chocolate ARGGHH!! Defianately getting one with my shopping this arvo, as well as a latte and gingerbread man from Gosh Coffee hehehe
Mel - I probably could have another Vaginal birth, but I think its left me so traumatized I don't want another one IYKWIM? They have said that I can choose to have a C-Section so will see how we go. I am a bit worried (TMI coming) but each time I do No. 2's it hurts a little and when I had a look it looks to be what could be scar tissue....so will see how it goes but I just hope I dont have to get that burnt off too!! X fingrers. But I am slowly feeling better, still a lot of discharge though, not blood....its giving me the irrates though as I am over wearing a pad!
Olivia is sleeping the same on FF then she did with bm, so we are just lucky I think![]()
So want my chocolate now!!! Have to be careful with my wait now that I am not expressing...I lost SO much expressing...I am way below my pre-pregnancy weight.
Olivia is doing well, but waiting for her to giggle, any babies giggling yet? She had a tiny one the other day. I call her silent laughing as she looks like she is laughing just nothing coming out!! She is talking SO much now and she when she is sitting on me, she looks to be using her stomach muscles to sit up? Is that right??
Lis xx
