Hi everyone! These changing threads are confusing. Can we keep this one for a while?!

Can't write any personals, but I just thought I'd pop my head in and say hi. Charlie is well, DH is well, Bob (baby) is well. We find out whether he is a 'he' or a 'she' today - we hope! Will pop in when I can and tell you what happens.

Hope you and your bubs are well.

    Hello everyone!!!

Jacob is much better now thank goodness. The virus really seemed to take it out of him though as he's been sleeping a lot - sometimes 14 hours overnight, plus 2 - 3 hours during the day!!! Eeek!! The rash is almost gone now. Thankfully it wasn't chicken pox, just the tail end of the nasty virus. Those temps he had going were pretty scary though I have to say, particularly as he's never had a temperature before, so that was all new to us!

Pee - poor little Ryley with his toothie-pegs! I hope he can get some relief from them. I think I mentioned to you in another thread that Jacob has had 16 teeth for some months now...OMG! He has a full mouth of them LOL.

Mooshie - How is the lovely Lani going, and the TTC? You never know, we may fall PG at the same time and have another two the same age huh?!

Jess - Glad to hear that Aidyn's rash cleared up too. Was he running a temperature like Jacob was or was it just a heat rash like you thought it may have been?

Dach - that is so cute about Yasin copying DH, and also him answer the question for you!!! Jacob's not really talking yet....well actually I think he is, but I just can't work out what the words are yet as he certainly makes some interesting sounds and he definitely tries to copy things we say. Some words are very clear, e.g. Daddy but others are blurred and a bit random - there isn't much consistency to it yet IYKWIM? It surprises me actually as he's done everything else so early LOL.

Bon - ooooh @ maybe TTC again!! Go the third I say LOL!!!

Tegan - I wonder what was wrong with Lily that she didn't want to go to sleep? Had she had a busy day, or had a sleep later in the day or something like that?

Jo - I reckon Kaleb's clinginess is just another phase. I know that Jacob certainly went through it and it lasted a really long time. It was really hard work, I have to say and quite upsetting to see him get so distressed. Is Kaleb learning any new things ATM, like walking etc? Quite often they seem to go through these kinds of phases when they are reaching developmental milestones.

    Hi all

Dach - up until about 2 months ago I wasn't going to have any more kids, but for some reason I feel differently now. I still have reservations about it which is why I want to wait till later in the year and then see how things are. Some days I think I could do it right now and then others I feel different. I was the same when I was pg - some days I was so excited about having another baby and then others I was like, what on earth am I doing, I must be mad!

Pee - good to 'see' you too! Hope things are going ok for you.

Kellee - oooh how exciting on finding out the sex, hope bub turns the right way for you!

Melinda - Glad to hear that Jacob is better, temps are scary - only a few weeks ago Harry developed a fever and had a febrile convulsion and I had to take him to hospital. That was very scary and I hope it never happens again.

Mel - hope things are getting better for you and you can look forward to a happy 2006. May we all have a healthy and happy 2006!

    Bon

Melinda, Lily had a normal day as usual, her normal nap at around 1am. Maybe she just wanted company because shes still a bit sick?

Lily has found a new toy. Of all the stuff she got for her birthday and christmas, she loved playing with a christmas bauble LOL She holds onto the string and bounces it on the ground and crawls everywhere with it!

    hi girls

this is so much better isn't it, you don't feel like talking to yourself all the time

    okay personals

bon - good luck with ttc#3, well making the decision whether to or not. i had 21mths between 1 and 2, and after jess died i really didn't want to have any more children, however i didn't want jay to grow up on his own - he really missed his big sister (he was 2 when she died) anyway i did fall prg after about 12mths of ttc and my gosh when i was prg with lani all those second thoughts were running through my head, like i must be crazy he is so independant, toilet trained, off to kinder, can help himself etc etc and i was going back again - but i wouldn't change it for the world and am ttc #4 now.

melbee - hope everything is going okay for you and eliana hope to see you in here a bit more soon when you are ready

pee - hows it going for you, what has the cheeky riley been up to, hope those toothy pegs come through soon. lani is cutting her eye teeth then only has her last 4 molars after that and we are done \/ hope she is like ds was - all teeth through by 19mths old - was great.

jess - glad to hear that aidyn's rash has gone - i find lani gets a few rashes in the heat

dachlostar - how are you coping running after a toddler and being prg - especially in the heat arhhhh

melinda - ttc has been hard as you well know, been at it for 7mths now and still nothing - taking temps and drinking grapefruit juice this month so i hope we catch an eggie that sticks - i will be 38 in october and would love another by then

okay gotta go heaps to do

Woohoo! Lily was standing by herself(shes been ding that for a while) then sat down then stood right back up again! So clever.

Shes also been doing something funny. She picks things up and puts them on her head. Very weird.

Also she is starting to look like a little girl more. Only a bit of baby left in her face now

LOL Tegan, IKWYM about putting things on her head. We used to play this silly game with Jacob where we'd pick up a toy, cup, article of clothing etc and say rather comically "What's this? Is it a hat?" and then put it on our head (which would result in roars of laughter from Jacob)

Before we knew it, Jacob started putting things on his head of his own accord. Or we'd only need to say "hat" and whatever he was holding at the time, would go onto his head LOL! Very cute!!

Michelle - have you tried taking Evening Primrose Oil too? That's meant to help with EWCM I believe. I think it's advisable to take it in the first half of your cycle only though? I'm taking it ATM too, as well as B6. I hope it happens for both of us soon!

    hi mel

i was thinking of getting some epo but after speaking to a pharmacist and my gp they both told me they never heard of it before for ttc, they said great for pms but not they knew prg. my gp said to me to not "try so hard" lol and bd every 2nd day from day af leaves until it is due to arrive.

af for me last 2 cycles have been really weird only like 24hrs max of heavy the rest just spotting - just need a liner, i dunno what is going on i will jsut keep on for the ride.

sorry about the ttc chat girls - hope all your bubs are well and all those tricks sound soooo cute - lani just loves to chat on her telephone - well anything in fact she puts up to her ear and says "ello" "ello" that one is definately earlier and "talking" than my other 2 she can say soooo many words now that we can understand of course there is the constant baby babble but omg the words are coming thick and fast - no stopping that girl.

LOL Pee, quick thinking! My friend's DS is 22 months and has learned to say 'Oh Sh*t' - she is beside herself, but I can't help but giggle every time he says it!

Kaleb's new favourite thing is the car. As soon as he sees me pick up my keys, or put my sunnies on my head, he starts going 'car, car' and runs to the front door squealing. It never ceases to amaze me the things they pick up on and learn when you don't even realise it's happening.

The clingyness may be improving, or it could just be that I'm dealing with it better. I just walk around the house slowly now so he can keep up with me when I go from room to room, and always tell him what I'm doing and where I'm going. Makes everything take heaps longer, but saves on hysterics!

Hi girls. Have not been around for long time as computer was down for 6 weeks. Lots happening with me but it is all to do with pg.

DD chats all day long and started to walk last month. She looks such a big girl now. She loves her stories and often sits in the Big Chair and looks at them all by herself. She is a little clingy at times but most go through a stage around 12mths and 18 mths. The do get over it. Just gets frustrating at times.

Pietta, I am sure if we swore the Amelia would pick it up quick. She copies lots of words both ds, dh and I say.

mooshie, I am thinking of you. It must be so hard esp. when time is ticking and you are trying. Youy are no prob. with talking about ttc. I am sure there are a few of us that will bore others with pg chat.

Melinda, how are you going. I know time has been tough on you too. Jacob sounds such a cutie.

Tegan, yay for standing on her own. Watch out she will be on the move soon.

Ok better go now. Post is long enough. Hopefully I can kepp up now.

Hi everyone, I hope you're all well.

wow Rose, look how far along your ticker is!! Time is just flying by ATM. How are you coping with pregnancy and keeping up with 2 littlies. Yasin 'reads' to himself too. Its so cute - he holds his book upside down and babbles on.

Pee, LOL at duck!! It was my sister's first recognisable word. Yasin has learnt la now which is arabic for no so now has 3 english words and 1 arabic word. In a way I'm going to miss the baby chatter when he can talk properly. He's so talkative and the babbling sounds so cute. I'd better hurry up and record some before its too late.

Michelle, I hope that BFP hurries up for you. LOL at Lani on the phone. Yasin isn't allowed to touch my phone now because he doesn't have a good record with phones but DH lets him play with his and he loves to walk around babbling on it. When it actually rings he rushes over to DH with it and if someone on the other end wants to talk to him he won't talk on it - wierd little person.

Jo, I geuss Kaleb might grow up to be a bit of a rev head. I'm gald that the clingyness isn't such an issue for you at the moment. It can make life a bit difficult at times.

Melinda, the hat game sounds so sweet.

DH and Yasin are both having a nap at the moment but I just heard Yasin stirring so I'd better be off.

since you asked dach, things are a bit trying atm. Did my gtt on Thurs, got a phone call yesterday to say it is 9.1. Have to do a fast 12hrs and 2hr ogtt. Not sure how I will go not eating till 10.30 as I start gaging at 8.30 if I haven't eaten. As for gd, that scares me. Also I have to see a specialist as my placenta may be stuck to my uterus or even grown in. Sorry if this is tmi but worst case senario, I might hemerage in 3rd stage and have to have a hyst. My placenta was stuck first time and cord brock. Had to have placenta manually removed. Second preg all went well so I am hoping and praying all will go well in the end.

Sorry to dump on you all. This probably should be somewhere else.
