Tori has just learnt to pull her bits aswell, today DH was changing a pooey nappy and she stuck her hand it and managed to make a right old mess. I remember our MCHN saying that it was just a normal stage of development, just like them discovering their hands or their feet!
Congratulations, Nic! I knew you knew, or you wouldn't have even posted about it yet Well, I didn't KNOW, but I had a feeling IYKWIM! Anyway, that's great news - pull out all the maternity clothes again!
Speaking of new babies, I've just been to a baby shower and Oscar charmed the pants off everyone again. I can't wait for this new baby! New mummy to be received about 8 bottles, bottle cleaners, a steriliser and a packet of formula. Wouldn't you want to clear that with someone first, for a baby shower pressie? I'm absolutely sure that the givers thought they were doing a good thing, but these things are not on the agenda for my GF...and are not going to be used! I felt even better about my pressie after hearing that (when the givers had gone home), because I was starting to wonder if I'd wasted my money getting an ABA subscription for her between myself and two other girls. But I didn't and it was a big relief to hear that she didn't want anything to do with bottles with her baby. Ooohh, and I have recommended BB to the new mummy's SIL...because she's TTC and wants to do the kind of parenting and birthing that I'm doing and thought she was weird cos she didn't know anyone else who was doing it that way until she heard what I was doing with Oscar

Amanda - LOL about playing with bits while watching TV! It would kind of be like nail-biting, wouldn't it? Well, maybe easier, cos nail-biting becomes hard wired into some kids, at least they grow out of bits pulling (unless, as I mentioned, they are future firefighters, hee hee!)
Just got home from the baby shower, so I"m going to put Oscar and myself to bed.
