Dad's pool was lovely and cold - days like this are the only times it's civil to use it, as he got rid of the dodgy solar heating many years ago! But it is JUST what I wanted, so while SIL boasted about heading off to her sister's pool, I kept thinking that a heated pool was not what I wanted to swim in today! Oscar, however, may have preferred heated...the look on his face was priceless!

Anyway, it's been a long day and DP is home now, unsmellified and Oscar needs to be put to bed...taking a leaf from your tree (book, whatever!), Rory, and gonna try to get me to bed soon
