Nickers I had the wake ups last night too! Little One keeps partying too so much so I wake up from the kicks.

Maya that is great that Oscar is so happy in the water! Flynn is cool with having water on his face and lying back in the bath but the pool tends to worry him a bit, I think because it has been so long since he went. Ah well, I'll just have to be content with the knowledge that he is at least happier in water than most at his age, and hope once he can understand things a bit more the pool won't be such a shock.

Jess that is a good deal. Mel our $60 per month deal has never gievn us any grief (never been over the limit) which is good given I use it for accessing work docs and emails and DH uses it for his masters.

Dee glad you got some birghter news on the pg front - keep us posted hon And WTG on the sleeping - Flynn is staring to do the same (finally! I too was worried about getting up for him once the bub arrives)

Ali we are still not using cloth (still gathering the supplies LOL!). Good work on trying to keep the weight down - I think I am going to "crack a ton" (as I said to DH the other day). I went from 76kg to 92kg with Flynn and with this pg started at 82kg and I am already 97kg! Sheesh! I guess that's what happens when you eat too much chocolate LOL! Though like DH said, this time if I use BF as it should be intended (ie: as the biggest "weight loss cheat" known to woman) I should be ok. I know BF helps you retain a bit of fat but not an extra 20 kgs LOL!

Ciao bellas, better get back to work.

And welcome back Bath - look forward to your next post

Forgot to add about my internet - we're on the Optus $74.95 (something like that) deal which gives us 24g (12 peak, 12 off peak) and we average abotu a sixth of that every month. No charge for going over, just shaped down. The best thing about this deal is that we get it for half price, from a promo two years ago. When Optus changes us over to Optus Direct, we'll pay a couple of dollars less for the same thing.
I think that if we always used under 4 gig, we'd switch to the Virgin deal - 4g, shaped down after that (but not charged), free local and STD calls with no line rental all for $60 a month,so you need to bundle with them. More perks if you have a mobile with them. I've checked our usage and we hover around 4 gig - if we were a bit more careful it would be a good deal, but sometimes I have to download heaps of articles for school work and I can't be bothered keeping track of that!
Also, these bundled deals INCLUDE uploads in their limits, so be wary of that
The Optus Direct packages look really good, if you're shopping around.
Gotta have a shower with a stinky @rse boy!

Good morning girls this is my first installment: got a tradesman here fixing all the damage Wade has done over the year (2 broken windows and 2 small holes in the walls where he has pushed the doors so hard that the handle has gone through the wall behind it). Just want to get everything dealt with in case DH gets an O/S job. Anyhow I'll have to go out and get the money to pay him soon.

Mel: I can't remember the exact details of our new plan but the old one was $64 per month and the new one (starting today) is $45. DH does HEAPS of music downloads so I'm sure the download limit is generous. Our new plan also doesn't bill us extra for going over the limit (like the old one did) instead it goes down to dial-up speed which will be great. We curently have broadband. We are with Pacific internet, have been for years, very happy with them. I'll email through the details when DH gets home and can fill me in... unless I can find some info somewhere. Will also email you the avatar i made... let me know if you need any changes... will be more than happy to tinker

ok...gotta go but will be back again later....

Hi all, I havent been around for awhile as have been feeling a bit down, But I am feeling better now, I know I have miss soooo much but will do my best not to let myself get so down in the future as it doesn't do anyone any good..

Well DH and I have desided 2 things in the past few weeks which I think have made me feel happier. The first is that we are not going to buy up here in cairns anymore and lucky for us we hadn't signed anything, We have decided that we will move back home YIPPY (that is to melbourne ) I hope to be moving back in dec 08 so that the kids can start a new school yr in vic. We still dont know where in melb to live as I have been gone so long I can't remember where the good and bad parts are, We lived in mornington for a while and are thinking of going back there DH doesnt want to be too close to my family as we have been by our selves for so long he's not sure if he would cope with them all droping in all the time, so if we live down there then they would have to ring first.

The 2nd thing we have decided is if I want to have another baby then we will try again I'm not sure if I want a 4th as that is a lot of kids but I am happy that if I do decide to have one he will be happy with that as DH only wanted the three we have, but said he would be happy to have a 4th with me, but I wouldnt be doing that until we moved home and had family support for when he is away..

Nickers so happy you have gone passed the 33w mark now you can sit back and take what ever happens

Maya you just sound too busy where do you find all that time.

Yep im another that needs to get in the weight band wagon too!
With Nixon is went from 69kg to 82kg, then when i fell pg this time i started at 77kg and now weigh 84kg, i really wanna get back down my pre pg weight of 69 after powpow arrives. gonna be tough i know but im sick of looking at pics taken of myself and cringing.....

Tali- thats great news you are moving back home if thats what you both want. it is tough leaving what u know and where you love, we always knew when we moved to melb we'd end up back in sydney and although i do miss melbourne im glad to be home too! i hope your feeling better after making some important decisions of late

Welcome back, Tali to BB, but also to Melbourne! Peninsula would be a good place to go - there is so much down there now, there's no real need to go into town! That's great about adding another kidlet to your family! How's your sister been? Do you see anyone when you're having a 'down' period? Glad you're back 'up'.
ETA: just had to rescue my seedlings from the poky little puppy - Oscar had made his way up onto my craft/gardening table and upended my little valerian plant...all over the deck - no wonder he was quiet out there!

My big news is that we are expecting No 2 next May.. It was a big surprise as we had just agreed to start TTC.. Early days yet so hoping it sticks...

Dee I am glad that the amnio test was -ve..

Oooh congratulations Emishka! How exciting! How many Junies are UTD now?

Just put Niall down for his nap. Going to do a bit more reading then pop back....

But yes! well done Nic for reaching 33 weeks! And wonderful to see you back Dee and Tali

ETA: Mel, I'm asking DH about our new plan now: apparently it is faster than our old one and allows 5 Gig download per month... unlimited upload. 6 month contract. And as I said is $45 per month, usually $49 but we receive a 15% discount I think because we are long standing customers... have to verify that (DH in shower now). No we get 15% off 'cos DH is bank staff.

Maya - what a busy weekend you had! Can't wait to see your painting, I'm like you and consider myself a trier, not an artist. Oscar sounds like he is doing so well at swimming. Marley starts back next term so I am looking forward to that. Love homemade soap, when you get a supply going can I try a sample? There are so many bundle deals available it gets very confusing!! Was going to swap from Telstra to Optus as they had the $69 cap with free line rental, local calls and 2GB internet use. Although reading some of the other posts, some of the smaller places offer good deals too. Did Oscar enjoy his spot of gardening?

Nic - did you manage to get some sleep? You shouldn't be cringing I am sure you look great. Last time I saw you which was a long time ago, you looked so good.

Bath - great to have you back. Your deal sounds very cheap, which I like lol!!!! Esp if DH is doing downloads etc, might have to investigate it further. My DH would love to download music and movies etc but I won't let him as it would use up too much of our limit.

Tali - good to see you back. Glad you feeling more like yourself again. Great if you move back to Melb, you can meet up with all us other Melb Junies.

Emishka - congratulations on your pregnancy!

Had a GF for lunch today with her little 5 week old son, he is such a cutie. Poor thing has reflux and not being kind to his mummy. Its very hard to offer help as I have no idea what it must be like to have a reflux baby (and I hope I never do!). It was lovely having lots of cuddles with him though. Marley wasn't too happy whenever I had him, she just grunted at me. Better go get my work stuff ready - night all!

Just winding down now - not that I can really afford to, I have work due! I have Oscar being taken away by MIL tomorrow, though, so that gives me some time.
Nic - same as what Mel said, you looked great when we saw you in January. I know how you feel, though. When I fell pg I was still a lot bigger than I had been before I had my depo provera injection and I just wanted to get back to within a cooee of that size again. I'm sort of there - some bits are smaller and other bits just aren't! I'd like to be really fit before the next pg, but if it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen (I've got about 7 months before we throw caution out the window!).
Mel - LOL, I'm more of a trier than you are!! I'll try to upload my pics onto Facebook, while the BB Gallery is down. I sure will spread the love with these soaps. You wanna be my crash test dummy? I think I need to increase the amount of oils I put in them, I don't think it's nearly enough. I might have to start ordering oils in 100ml sizes from either Auroma or The Naked Press (eBay company that does these sizes). The lady who supplies my 10ml bottles is SOOOOO nice - she's from eBay but she lives in the next suburb down the mountain and she has completely waived the delivery fee, saying that it's ridiculous to charge postage when she lives so close and delivers it to my letterbox anyway! What about the petrol for her car?? She sure has my business! And yes, Oscar thought he was just so bloody clever getting on top of the table to eat the plant Swimming is nearly over - dad's day on Sat, but DP is working (a cash job, shhhh) so I get to hop in the pool again, poor me (it's my favourite part of the week!). Next term the classes are at 9.30 instead of 9. I think Oscar is the only child in that class who gets put into the car still asleep. Poor Marley, being displaced like that by a little boy! Have fun at work tomorrow.
Hi again, Emma Please post about Cait's goings on!
We went to our birthday party today and I ended up dressing Oscar up as Superbaby. He had his Bonds terry all in one, in blue, with a red terry flat nappy for undies and another red terry in a triangle wrapped as a cape - it was very funny, but I don't think we got any photos of it! I got photos of him after I'd changed him eating cake.
Well, I've mopped the kitchen floor (hadn't been done since last year, I'm sure of it!), made sandwiches, packed Oscar's bag for trip with MIL (I'll have to teach her about pocket nappies, but for tomorrow she can have the disposables - she gets a bit lazy with the terries and leaves them on for as long as you could get away with leaving a sposie on...she used cloth for DP and BIL, but I guess my older niece and nephew's childhood of sposies spoilt her), tidied up a bit (floor is clear so that I can spend the first half hour without Oscar doing the vacuuming) and desk is a bit tidied up on my side (so that I can study!!). Oscar just tried to wake up, but a well placed booby fixed that.
    See ya's tomorrow!

Emma- CONGRATULATIONS!! how exciting Caitlyn will be a big sister. wishing you a healthy pregnancy and so there will be just on 2yrs between them well done!

Does that make 5 Junies UTD?
    Me - October
    Rory- December
    Ali- December
    Donna- February
    Emma - May

ahh Mel dont remind me about reflux babies lol! gosh i hope this bub doesn't get it like Nixon had it. after we got medication the pain assoc with it dwindled somewhat but nothing stops the actual projectile everytime he had a feed! i hope your gf bubba can get what he needs to help him soon. Having had reflux both pregnancies i really feel for the poor babies who suffer from it, its horrible.
Finally mine is under control. My OB told me to get Renatidine which is a Zantac brand. i can have 1-2 tablets a day when i feel it coming and its helped soooooo much.
Got my OB appointment today and my doula is coming over tomorrow!

First of all congrats Nic on making past your PROM date, you are doing great only just over 6 weeks to go, how is the doula going? How is DH with the doula?

Emma congrats on the pg, what a wonderful surprise and for it to happen so quickly.

Maya Oscar would have looked sooo cute as superbaby, what a shame you didn't get any piccy's, you are so creative making soaps. Hope you get all your assignments and study done today.

Mel yay on becoming a platinum member and the name change, we're with Telstra and pay $69.95 per month and have 12GB download and since been on this plan we haven't gone over the download limit and DH downloads alot of music.

Bath good to see you back, how are you feeling now?

    Hello Rory, Ali and Jess.

Wow I can't believe that there are 5 Junies pg again, hopefully I'll be joining those ranks soon, lol.

We went out 4wding on the weekend and had a great time playing in the mud then went back to some friends place and had a chat it was great. Going out again this weekend and then having a BBQ at the same friends house so will be a good day and night.

    hugs xoxo

Maya - how cool having a home delivery service for your oils! That is so nice of her to do that. PML at the thought of Oscar in his superman cossie!!!!! You have to get a picture.
Well, I've mopped the kitchen floor (hadn't been done since last year, I'm sure of it!), - thats hilarious!!!! I have to do mine nearly every 2nd day!

Nic - I didn't realise that Nixon was a reflux baby. My GF little man has silent reflux so he doesn't throw up, he just screws himself up and screams, poor thing. I don't think she is getting much help from her GP either. I have told her to check BB as I know there have been heaps of threads about silent reflux. Thats great that you've got yours under control, it must have been driving you nuts. I had it only midly, so I can't imagine what it must feel like to have it bad. Did you decide to go with a doula? Must have missed that somewhere. I remember you saying you were going to meet up with one but you still had to convince DH.

Amanda - 12 GB is heaps of download! The more people tell me the more I am convinced I need a better plan! Sounds like a fun weekend and another to come. Our list of expectant mums is getting much bigger - you next, then Maya, then maybe me LOL!

Work today and its almost lunchtime - I am so hungry!!!

Yes, Nic, do tell about the doula, please!
Amanda - your weekend sounds awesome...makes me want to throw DP into the shed to finish our Landcruiser ute!
Sorry, Em - forgot to say congratulations and sending stickies your way!
I think I'll have to dress Oscar back up again and take photos...forgot to ask the GF who's party it was if she got any, I saw her again this morning.
Mel - we're really slack with floor hygiene around here - our back door opens directly into the kitchen, so whilst we especially should mop, it seems too hard with everyone traipsing in and out all the time (gotta go through kitchen to get to the rest of the house). This morning I did mop again because the dogs came in with wet and slightly muddy feet.
Oscar is off with MIL...it's weird not having him around again - it's been a good 3 months since she took him last! I'm wishing her luck, though, cos he may not take well to being stuck in teh sling if he's not tired...
Better get back to listening to this lecture, then down to some reading and writing!

Good afternoon Back from play group and coffee afterwards. Niall asleep, Wade watching Thomas but needing endless food, will have to make him a promised sandwich soon.

Mel: I haven't forgotten to send your av... it's on the desktop (other computer) which i'll turn on later this afternoon. I had so much reading to catch up with yesterday I never got round to it , or back in here... all up to speed now. So many changes... and I had to check out the arcade. Also check out Pacific Internet's website for a full run down on their plans.

Amanda: I'm feeling more positive at the moment, thanks for asking. I think I'm just itching for a change. There was a new mum at play group today that has lived all over the world as expats... she was very inspiring. Getting out for a 4WD sounds like fun... it's been ages since i have gotten out of the city, it's getting to me.

Nic: Thanks so much for listing the preggy Junies and their due months Don't fret about your weight too much, chasing after Nixon and juggling a baby will soon slough it off! I'm finding it hard to keep up with Niall these days, no doubt Nix is also everywhwere and into everything! I'm sure that Powpow will be reflux free... it doesn't run in families does it? Let us know how it goes with your doula too.

Maya: Ooh your soaps sound lovely, well done. I can relate to mopping the floor once in a blue moon... do you have floorboards? We do and it hides the grime that doesn't get swept away so well that I also don't bother. However, we had white tiles in our last house and I was like Mel, doing it every second day. Never have light tiles if you are a family with small children, they create just too much work, plus things break more easily when dropped. I don't know about the other June babies but Niall is driving me nuts getting into the kitchen cupboards! He hones straight for my crockery too and gleefully shows me a snatched treasure before dropping it on the floor. Thankfully our everyday crockery is mainly Op Shop stuff... the good sets are packed away... but I like my Op Shop crockery! Awwww not taking a piccy of Oscar in his superbaby outfit! Gonna have to be an encore! Sounded so cute!

Jess: How's your doula training going? You an' me will just have to be content with living vicariously through the other preggy Junies hey? I think we are the only two who have definately finished?

tali: I was feeling a bit down at the same time as you and I am blaming that luna eclipse now! So many people say they are starting to feel a bit better after a period of 'downness'. Weird. Hope your moving plans go smoothly! Didn't your DD have an issue with cold weather? I hope that doesn't become a problem and look forward to meeting you too if we are still here when you arrive!

Rory: Was your next Mercy appointment tomorrow? Was that the day you and Mel were coming over? If so that would be lovely I can show you my new BumGenius nappy! it's brilliant!

hey this is getting loooong.... i'd better post it incase i lose it.... will add more later!

Maya had to lol when read about the mopping I too never mop as when I do like on sunday ( the 1st time in I dont know how long ) by monday the house was trashed again God knows what the kids do but there was crap from one end of the house to the other, so now all I think is why bother so I will again wait until it looks gross again and then mop but as we have white tiles I should really do it more. Thanks for asking about my sister almost forgot I had writen a post She is doing ok seems like she a some kind of reation to the meds they were giving her so dont know what the means now as she seems to reacted to everything but we just see what each day brings and hope for not to many more attacts.

Bath my Dh is ok with the weather just hates the cold wind but I think that the main thing last time we live there was the lack of $ but this time we are in a better job so that shouldnt be a problem

I cant believe so many junies are pg I look at Kai and there is no way I could cope with another but then I have had 3yr gaps and loved it as the 1st is toilet trained before bub comes even though I really wanted to have a 2 yr gap I am happy it worked out this way I guess the universe new it would be too hard to have them closer when DH is away all the time.

Amanda we love 4x4 driving as well. Dh loves it a bit more then me as I hate edges always feel like I am going to go over or the car will roll but we went up to cooktown by the coast road and it was really really scrary dont think I will do that again in a hurry DH now wants to sell the 80 series and get a tropie or 60 series so he can fix it as they dont have computers and that way he can do all the repairs and then he wants to go up the cape york I guess we would have to do that this time as we hope to move next yr.

well must go as bold is about to start ( sad I know but I just love to watch a good soap )

well unfortunatley i wont be meeting with my doula tomorrow now. 2 of her children have chicken pox and she thinks its best to stay away from Nix & I. so bit bummed about that but re schedule for next week and make sure bub stays baking till im sorted!
Speaking of weight i had my ob appointment today and put on 1.5kg since last visit 2 weeks ago.... but i had a naughty lunch and lots of water before hand so hoping that contributed.
On a good note my gf rang me from holidays in NZ this arvo to tell me she is engaged! and also asked if i would be bridesmaid! they are thinking they will marry feb/march so bit incentive to get off all the weight by the wedding now!

Maya- yeah do that dress oscar back up, i wanna see the pics!

reflux doesnt run in the family i dont think so i think i just suffer from it in pregnancy and maybe Nixon cause he was premmie. atleast this time i know a lot more about it so can get on top of it straight away and know small things that can make a big difference.

Mel- yeah we met with the doula but i had already made up my mind i wasnt going to let anyone change it lol! my sister and mum dont really "get it" but dh has kinda come around to he idea!

Amanda- i hope you make it number 6 in here too good luck!
