And can someone please tell me that their child already has more attitude than they know what to do with - please tell me I'm not the only one! My little devil is starting to get so temperamental. If she doesnt get what she wants when she wants to starts to scream at the top of her voice and if one of us is within reach then she'll scratch and claw us with such agression!!! This is normal right???? Or do I just have a very very naughty child???

I hear you, although I wouldn't say it's attitude so much, more like frustration. We can't effectively communicate with him and neither can he, so his frustration comes out in the form of a screaming fit. It's funny, as it's only been the last couple days. We're thinking about bringing in some form of time out, just for one minute, but we need him to understand that screaming and crying will not be tolerated. I feel sorry for him. It will be so much easier when he has the words.

I'm not worried at all about the scan. In fact, I've been so laid back about this pregnancy, it's not funny! Most of the time I forget I'm pregnant, besides my little bulging waistline and the vomiting... oh and the fatigue. I've been so "meh" about the whole thing, not that I don't love this little one, I just can't be bothered with all the fuss this time!

yes Teepee, Lewis has all of a sudden got plenty of attitude! He shakes his head ALL the time now when he doesn't like something I do and he doesn't like his hand held in public so he pushes my hand away! And he pushes objects away which I don't like at all, say I offer him his water he will push the cup away. So that's something I'm trying to teach him is not nice. Ah what fun!

Good luck for your scan I'm sure everything will be fine. I think most girls I know who have had 2 kids find that their pregnancies are really different. I thought you two were much further ahead than you are! Must be because we found out so early.

We went to the beach again today, DH was saying how much more fun it is when you have kids to play with !

Well i have the feeling DD hates me. She has been in a foul mood the past few days (teeth). and throws and hits me and i tell DH and when he comes home she is a perfect cuddly loving angel...

Thats always the way isnt it PP. They give you hell all day then when daddy comes home its all peaches and cream!!!

Sarah Mikayla does the same thing except she takes whatever your giving her then just throws it on the floor - arrrggghhh they can be so frustrating at times cant they?? and then they go and do something so cute and sweet that our hearts melt and we forget all the bad stuff!!!!

Cels they're a little young for time out arent they?? I thought they had to be over 2 to really understand what it all means. Good luck with it. I hope it works - if it does we'll all be coming to you for tips and advise

I don't know Tina. I'll have to read up and find out before we go ahead with it. Caeleb is a very smart little boy. He seems to understand that there are consequences to his actions, so I figured it wouldn't take him too long to figure out that he'll spend a minute in a play pen on his own if he throws wobbly after wobbly. And it is only 1 minute.

I think they like to play up just for Mum. Caeleb is an angel for DH. As soon as I enter the room, the wobblys start and DH says... he was fine before you turned up. Great!!!

My all time favourite wobbly action is what I like to call the t-bag. Where they throw themselves on the floor and refuse to stand up and walk, so you try to pull them up onto their feet and they leave their legs limp, so it ends up looking like a t-bag!

DH has taught Caeleb to sign for when he wants food. So, that takes away one wobbly. He stands at the kitchen gate, screaming for something and I run around like a headless chook trying to guess... this morning, he wanted the cordial jug. Of course! Why didn't I think of that the first time?!?

Is it possible to have felt the baby move this early? I was laying there falling asleep last night and I swear I felt something move in there. Probably just an air bubble...

Celsie - bub would be pretty small at 9 weeks to cause movement... perhaps gas

I do a sort of time out i guess. If DD throws something at me it is removed from her and she isnt allowed it until she stops misbehaving. And she she hits me i pick her up and place her about 1 m from me and she isnt allowed to touch me until she is nice again...

not sure if it works but she knows she is being naughty!

I don't know how you guys cope with being hit. Where do they get it from? I'd be heartbroken if Caeleb hit me. Is it a girl thing maybe???
