Vent away lovely!!! That's what we here for!!

Re: tummy time - my DD is the same, can only stand it for so long and I think it could be because she can't hold her head for a long time so isn't a huge fan of sucking the blanket or towel she happens to be lying on at the time!

Re: dummy - sending you big hugs and hoping you get that precious sleep soon. I do have thoughts but that's all they are Does Mikayla have the dummy during the day?? Is it the same thing as in, she won't sleep without it? If so, maybe you could start retraining her to sleep without it during the day first or if it's just a night thing, it could possibly take a few painful sleepless nights with no dummy but simply reassuring her every 10mins or so with a quick cuddle and/or pat but not reintroducing the dummy at any point............might take a few nights to a week but if you are able to accept the disruption it will pay off dividends in the end. Was she sleeping the 7hours or so with the dummy?? Could she just be getting more alert and aware of her surroundings and comforts as in her dummy?? I guess a few nights of complete horror compared to the ongoing sleep disruption might be worth it. It will be tricky too and as you've probably discovered, exhausting and frustrating, but seriously, if you can keep with it, it will be worth it! I shared with Debbie re: being consistent and persistant and that's pretty much the trick - just decide what you as the mummy want your little one to do and then go with that!

Again, these are only my thoughts and may not sit right with you but I hope it helps somehow

Starfish - ooh! lots of teething symptoms hey?? Certainly not unheard of! I hope Diana feels better, not so grumpy, soon! xx

Having a lazy day today................as lazy as you can possibly have with an almost 3yr old and 15wk old ............lazy means I haven't got a load of washing to do today as I did some yesterday and am planning more tomorrow........... Just got to put the towels away and do the dishes (which is highly frustrating as our new dishwasher seems to be sitting there laughing at me as it isn't installed yet!!) and change nappies and get meals and bf...............................did I say I was having a lazy day?!?!?!?
