My mum just rang to tell me she won a radio competition to bring us 'home' for Christmas!!!!!

She entered it just before it closed, giving the sob story about how far away we are, and how all the rellies hadn't me our new son, and how he hadn't met his great grandmas etc etc... and how we were on one wage and couldnt' afford to come up......and won!!!!

So she thinks they fly us from Melbourne to Brisbane at least, with possibly some assistance getting to Melbourne (4 hrs drive or a short flight from the airport 1 hr away) and to Toowoomba (short flight from Bne or 1.5 hrs drive). How unreal is that?????? To drive from here to my parents place takes 24 hrs solid driving (that's two travel days, driving for 12 hrs non stop each day). It's a fair distance between here and there!!!!


HOW EXCITING IS THAT!!! I can't wait to tell my husband and find out all the details!!!!
