Hi Hollo Im in similar situation to you..still BF maybe 4 times a day..but if i go out for the day I will take formula with me..its just easier sometimes and DD does love it. I will put cows milk on weet bix in the morning but they do recommend whole cream (i only have lite in the house so i use that). I dont like the idea of replacing 4 feeds a day with cows milk though??? maybe thats just me! I have grabbed some whole milk when out and given her when i havnt taken formula..didnt have any issues. I actually dont think formula works out very expensive anyway! get a lot of bottles out of 1 tin!..My sis however who has 4 kids says when i stop breastfeeding DD can just have straight cows milk instead...none of her kids ever had formula. At least with formula i have my mind at ease that at least she is getting the added nutrients that the cows milk does not have added.
