Now I can retype my post.... Was interupted from Doni's grandparents showing up and Doni had gone to cycling so I was all by myself with them (grrrrr) and they were going to wake up DJ from his sleep and I was like don't do that!! arghhh I would have a grumpy Dj on my hands if he didn't get his sleep haha

Trina - sorry to hear about your news.... that is great the girls took it well I agree with SJ, you are practically a single mum with him being away so much so you will do really well. And if you need us to vent or anything we are all here for you. Prama and I will have to come up for a visit when things have settled down for you, just let us know what is easier for you. Big hugs!!!!!!

Prama - maybe he is teething to be crying in his sleep or dreaming.... sometimes DJ will do that but then settle himself back to sleep. Does he have any teething symptoms? could just be a bad dream. Doni used to think DJ was dreaming of bunny rabbits chasing after him since he was born so close to easter haha he is a noisy sleeper.

SJ - thanks for tips re: BLS - I think I would continue with purees at childcare etc.... checked out another one today just in case Doni's work creche doesn't open anytime soon. My stepmum said she will look after him but in the short term. Don't think she wants to do it too much, she has other stuff to do and I understand that. The one I really liked today was great, very clean etc and gourmet baby food, fresh everyday etc... and they cater for intolerances etc which is great we both have gluten intolerance so we are incorporating that with DJ's foods because we think he will be the same as us.

Skye - how was your drive today? Is your dad's back ok?

Bron - yeah mine gets like that as well. I still haven't made the osteopath appt as well.... so hopeless!!

Well, better go and give DJ the rest of his feed and put him to bed.

I bought Jazz some teething rusks tonight. She hasn't had any yet but maybe tomorrow.

She loves food! She ate a whole can of apples and had heaps of veggies at daycare today. They said that when she finishes her food she screams for more - and yes, she has all of her bottle before she has food!

Tomorrow I'm going to try 3 meals. Also, we are going out in the afternoon tomorrow so I'll take a teeting rusk so she can try a chewable snack. That will be the first time she will have had something that requires chewing. I think she'll be fine with it - she loves chewing her fingers, toys, her bottom lip...anything she can get her hands on really. I do think she's ready for finger food, but I'm not quite ready for her to have it...I think though I'll just have to follow her signs and let her dictate what she wants.

    Morning girls,

Hope you are all well. I am pretty good, DJ is still back to waking up at 3am arghhhh the only way I can change it is if I feed him at midnight haha Someone suggested giving him water at this time and eventually he won't wake up for a feed. Just trying to figure out if it should be warm water or cooled boiled water, since he is used to having something warm at this time..... I will give it a go. The more sleep I get the better since I start back at work this week.

Today I am going to get some photos developed of DJ especially a few for my wall at work kehehe Need to do a few other things as well. Trying to work out how I can go to pole dancing this afternoon.... arghhhh I have missed the last 2 weeks from being sick or away in Byron..... My mum can't look after him..... Doni is at an all day conference thing today and tomorrow....Anyway will ponder more and work out something. We have a friend coming over for dinner tonight as well so I need to cook dinner. If Doni was home he could take care of that for me..... hmmmmm how can I be at two places at once.... I need a clone!!!!

Tomorrow my mum is going to take DJ for me for most of the day so I can get stuck into the housework. I want the house to be organised and clean before I return back to work. It will make me feel better.

Danni - I got DJ some teething rusks but he wasn't interested in them.... I suppose once his tooth comes through he will be though. And what an appetite with Jaz sounds like she is going well with her solids.

Anyway girls, hope you are all well.

This morning Jazz was laying in her cot and she yelled out "aaweee" I thought that was cute. Then she did it again a few more times until I finally went in. I wonder if aaweee is her way of saying mummy.

I brought her into our bed and she was laying between us. She would look at me and laugh, then turn and look at matt & laugh, then kept doing that, back and forth a few times.
This morning she's had a bottle, half a tin of apricot, peach & semolina (which tasted nice and I could eat it).

so funny about bunny rabbits chasing dj.. poopy must be dreaming about girls chasing him for valentine day presents hahahaha

sj hows mj's hips.. i cant remember if you said it all checked out ok.

danni - jazz is such a good girl w her food.

we had dinner with my team mates at my manager's last night. it was really good. poopy was well behaved. it was just nice to sit w other adults and chat like the old days. we had poopy on the play mat while we ate, then steve and i took turns w him on our laps while we chatted and had dessert.

he had his first swim class today. carlile swim school offered us a free trial class. steve took him into the water and i took pictures, i thought itd be nice for them to do this together.. i think he did well, he just didnt like when he was on his back and water went into his ears.

    gotta go.. poopy's crying

    Hi all.
My dads back seems fine to me. He came over here last night. Apparently he has got nerve damage though. All those years of shearing.

Got Sahra - my sister - do put some foils in my hair. I feel so spesh now! But I'm going to get her to lighten it just a bit more. I want it like it was before I had Bri. Light brown/dark blonde. I don't feel like me with it this dark. After I had Bri i was never out in the sun & moved away from the coast & thats when it went real dark.

It started raining here yesterday & hasn't stopped. I'm loving it, but I would really like it to stop now so the sheep can dry out for Anth to go back to work next week.
They can't shear them with wet wool & it can take 3 days for them to dry out properly.

We finally ordered the parts to get the car rego'd. So that should be done some time after next weekend. The parts don't get in til Wednesday. Then FIL will come put them in on the w/e.
Then if the rain stops Anth will go back to work for the rego money! Yay.
I don't think I'll use it any more than I do now, but at least I'll be driving it legally. I only use it for shopping & to drop Jaz at school when she misses the bus now. So maybe 2 - 3 times a week.

Jesse's gone off his food. I think his teeth are bothering him. He's not sleeping too great either. I have to remember to give him some panadol if he's still restless tonight.

I better go put him down for his nap.

Have a good day everyone. bbl

Jazz often doesn't finish her bottles at the moment and spends a lot of time chewing on the teat instead of sucking and drinking. She also spends heaps of time chomping on her fingers, toys and anything else she can get her hands on. Her gums feel rough too. My sister said her daughters did the same things when they started teething. I wonder if we'll see any teeth in the next few weeks.

She ate heaps of food this afternoon though. 3/4 jar of vegetables and 1/2 tin of fruit. After every mouthful she giggled. It was so cute. She was so happy with herself when I told her what a good girl she was.

There's a baby girl at church who is a month older than Jazz. Today they were both holding hands which was so cute. They really like checking eachother out.

My sister is moving to Townsville :-( Her husband got into the army after they originally knocked him back. They got a call earlier this week to say they changed their minds and they want him up there on the 8th of Sept! It's all happening really quickly. I'm gonna miss her and my nieces, but I'm def planning a holiday as soon as we can afford it.

    Cute.

I tried giving jazz a little bit of a rice cake that she was eyeing off while I was eating. She bit a bt off and chewed it a little then spat it out. Then she wanted more but wouldn't eat it. She did mung out on a rusk though!

I'm starting to get over my not being ready to let her try things. I'm sort of thinking now that I'll let her try just about anything appropriate for her age, small bits at a time till she's used to something and of course, I keep a mental note of it. I wont let her do things like that in someone else's care though, not yet.

I did notice though when she was chewing on her rusk that there was a little bit of blood on it. She didn't seem to be in any pain but she was chewing hard. I put my finger in her mouth and felt around. I didn't get any blood on my finger. I really think we'll see a tooth very soon.

    Prama
You made me laugh so hard with valentines day comment kehehee
I am actually excited about going back to work. I think I have lost myself in becoming a mum, because I don't take care of myself etc.... So now I can do what I really love doing and also be a good mum to DJ. I am looking forward to doing myself up for work 3 times a day and taking pride in my appearance and talking to people about things that stimulate my brain instead of mush or what time DJ is due his next feed etc.
Yeah got lots of housework done today thankfully Was good of mum to look after him for me.
Oh wow on the swim class. How did you find Carlile? I am trying to decide whether to go with them or Stanhope.

skye - hope the weather clears up and anth can go back to work, and the car gets sorted out. bummer, this reminds me that i need to pay my rego online.
hey, so nice to hear you got your hair all done!! you and your sis have beautiful names!
do you know, i heard that they make sheep placenta into face creams and it's supposed to be good?

danni - sorry to hear your sis is moving to townsville, i've never been there but steve has worked there on a project and said it;s absolutely lovely. hope you get to go there soon.

shell - lol, steve and i were p!ss!ng ourselves laughing at the bunny rabbit dream. i kinda imagined ala Watership Down..
sorry, didnt discuss w you further re tomorrow. i think i will have a quiet day, i've had a long week and another long week ahead. i dunno just how things keep cropping up.
could we catch up later on? after you've settled into work and all.
i feel teh same abt going back to work. when i was at the training, i really felt like my old me, and having 'normal' conversations, without having to amuse and do baby talk.
and it was nice going to my boss's house on friday, i got dressed up tho casually but actually planned what to wear instead of just grabbing whatever. and had casual work related conversation with my other colleagues and laughing and enjoying a good meal.

oh, i found carlile pretty good. they sang songs with actions so kids can play along and learn the techniques. i'm going see if the aquatic centre at the olympic park will let me go have a look at a class. carlile is more expensive at $70 a month, about $16 plus for 30mins per class, the aquatic centre's $10 per class for 20mins, and i think they dont need to go for a whole term, after a few classes you can teach bub the same kinda stuff on your own, cos it was just holding them and lettingthem get familiar w the water.
he wore those swim nappies, zoggs ones, no leaks! lucky he did a poo before we left home haha.

i made another batch of food today. i had a several vegies, i was going to make a few batches of different combo of vegies, but i got so tired, i just put 4,5 types together and blended them. i feel bad cos it kinda becomes a mish mash for poopy but i was just too tired to make different combos. i was being too ambitious. had a long day, we went to darling harbour for malaysia fest, they had different stalls of various food. met upw a friend of mine from school, her hubby and 2 daughters. and we all sat together at the park, and ate and ate and ate. poopy was very interested and amused seeing the little girls!

everyone, hope you have a good week..

Hi all, I went and spoke to my trainer at the gym yesterday and we made up a plan for me to lose weight and get fit again and went in this morning to get started and half way through my PT i had to go and get Summy from the creche she cried from the time i left and was all worked up, she was so hot and they didn't even think to take her thick cardi off or her socks as usual i didn't say anything they were just sitting there rocking the pram ??? I lost half my session that i paid for which is annoying.... Oh well

Prama at work we have a serum that has snake venom, Hmmmm placenta... interesting is probably good but sounds yuck, prob lots of nutrients. Not sure if i am going to take Summer to swimming lessons, might just do it myself until she is ready to be with the instructor and other kids, its a lot to pay for just playing in the water.

Shell glad you are looking forward to going back to work much better than dreading it. It's nice getting dressed up instead of chucking on tracky dacks!!

    How you going Skye?

Hope you are going well Bron, did they ok your meds?

First day of spring and i feel like cleaning and sorting.....

    Well i stink... literally!!!
Dad bought up with him a trailer full of cow manure compost so have literally shoveled ***** from trailer to wheelbarrow most of the day and spread it all over my garden beds, in a few weeks i am going to plant some veggies - woo hoo.

Yep first day of spring had me cleaning heaps this morning before mum and dad arrived... dad still managed to comment on the coffee table that still had a few coffee rings on it though... humf sees the mess, but dosent notice the clean.

Mum taught MJ to high five today, its soooo cute i cant wait to show DH tonight... although i am still very very mad at him, long story wont go into it as its the typical inconsiderate male story that we can all tell

Oh and i am soooooooooooooooo proud of myself, when i fell pg i was about 66-68kg, as they say, nine months on, nine months off.. so i set myself a goal of being under 70kg by my 30th birthday (which is thursday) and i weighted myself yesterday and i was 69kg wooooo hoooo
My figure is definatly different, i still have a spare tyre so to speak, but i was so happy that i cracked that mark and 5 days early too.
Still would like to lose another 5kg and then i will be really happy, but its a bit hard with BF and there is no creche at our gym, so i just have to rely on eating and walking... anyway gloat over

Trina - those girls at the gym, do they not have a brain??? i would be so mad - do you have to pay to have Summer in there? morons

As for the tracky dack uniform, im loving it I still am in jeans or cargo pants 2-4 days a week, but that is about as dressy as i get, im not a bogan pmsl, but i am not one of those people that gets dressed up much and i dont spend much on clothes, waste of money of you ask me, would rather put my money towards something else...and besides there always too much to do that i can get messed up doing, when i was younger i rode horses (you make me jealous trina), was riding abike or running (cross country training) and worked around mum and dads garden, then i worked on my car - dad and i did up a 68 VW beetle for my 1st car, then well, renovating the house, gardening (shovelling cow *****!!!) etc.... besides as a nurse i always had a work uniform so didnt even have to buy nice clothes for work...

hope you all are having a good day

SJ - I'm so jelouse! My dream car is a VW convertable!! Could you imagine me trying to fit 3 kids & all the crap that comes with them into a Vee Dub Beetle?? Lol!

Trina - I'm Ok. Car rego is just about organised. Still looking at houses near mums. I don't think I'll ever make up my mind the way I'm going.
