Matt got Jazz up at about 11pm last night for a change and bottle. Then she thought it was play time and I could hear her laughing. He said it took an hour to get her to go back to sleep again. She kept screeming in her sleep which is annoying coz we jump out of bed to see if she's ok and she's always fast asleep. This morning I went in to get her up so I could give her a feed and change but she was fast asleep so I decided to leave her be until I was ready to leave the house, then went and got her up and changed her nappy and dressed her. I just took the bottle i'd prepared to give her to daycare so she could have that as soon as we got there. She's taken to sleeping on her right side all the time now which is fine but I cannot put her in a blanket at all coz she either kicks it off or wriggles out of it so it's all sleeping bags now. At least in the summer I wont have to worry about anything at all but will get a mozzie net so she doesn't get eaten.

    Hi Girls,

Sorry it has been so long since I have been online (Hockey Season is now officially over!)

SJ - We are going through the same thing with Caitlin, I don't like to give Panadol either but it seems to be the only thing that get's her to sleep better and therefore we sleep better! I bought one of the tommy tippee teething fish from Big W and Caitlin loves it. She will chew on it for hours if I let her. You can either put it in the fridge or just give it as is and it really seems to bring relief although I don't give it to her at night which seems to be when she is most unsettled! No teeth have come through yet but I am sure they must be close.

Have an appt at the MC&HC at 11 so no time to read all posts but will try and get back online later.

Quick update - Caitlin has been sitting for about 2 weeks. No teeth. She commando crawls backwards but still hasn't worked out forwards! Not keen on lumpy solids. Likes to suck finger food but if a lump breaks off just spits it out. Same goes for sipper cup, likes to get the water out but then spits it out and get her clothes saturated. Getting weighed today, I think she is catching up to the other kids at MG - will see! Says Dadda but I don't think she knows what it means, makes lots of other sounds but no Mumma yet!

Gotta go - hope you are all well.

Ok so it is not teeth for Caitlin! Just saw the M&CHC nurse and she said there is no sign of teeth! She suggested feeding her a meal of carbs in the evening to make sure she has a full belly so I am going to try that!

So Caitlin's 8 month statistics are - 7640g, 68cm long & 43cm head! She is definitely catching up. She is 50th% for length based on birth age not corrected which is fantastic and she is about 30% on non corrected weight so you would even know that she was early anymore.

Great to hear from you Jo.

Summer has been waking every night since she was about 4 months, before that she slept really well, just going with it she ends up in my bed every night so i just pop her on the boob and that's the only thing that will settle her. She can sit by herself and can crawl then stop and sit up. None of my other girls were crawling but were sitting if propped with a pillow. She is now pulling up to walk around the furniture which means lots of bangs and bumps like skye said esp on the head, she is definately a dare devil, she just wants to be exploring and climbing things and it's such hard work. I put her outside when i hang the washing out and she can get the whole length of the backyard in no time its about 15-20m. You think with all this activity that she would sleep well but no unfortunately not.

    Hope you feel better SJ.

    Bugger on AF prama.

We went to the zoo yesterday which was fun and very expensive..... bigger girls were so worn out with all the walking.

Anyway enough waffling from me night all

Jo, It sounds like Caitlin is bigger than Jazz so that's great. I think if all of us were to meet, Jazz would probably be the smallest bub out of all of them. She went to sleep really easily tonight for a change which was nice. Time for me to hit the sack too.

    Morning all.

    Caitlin's doing really well Jo!

Jesse is so funny! Belly flopping all over the place. He's started trying to pull himself up on things too the last 2 or 3 days. I sat him in his cot to play yesterday & found out I'll have to put it down to cot level. Its still up on Bassinette level & he had himself up on his knees over the side looking at the floor. Cheeky devil!
He's been really squealing alot lately too.

Jesse has only slept through about 3 times since he was 10 weeks old. Up til he was 10 weeks it was every night! I usually put him in either his cot in his & Bri's room, or in the porta cot next to our bed, then when he wakes up he comes into our bed. He wakes at least twice a night & like little Summer, the boob is the only way to settle him.

Danni - I reckon Jesse would be close to the biggest!

Well I best be off. Packing to do (Its feeling really overwhelming atm. I don't know where to start!)

    Bye guys!

    Hey girls,

Sorry I haven't posted Doni and I celebrated our 13 year wedding anniversary yesterday so a friend of ours looked after DJ so we could go out for dinner. We are also going away for the night on Saturday so can't wait.

    Hope you are all well.

DJ is good, had a minor upset this afternoon think he has hit another growth spurt, just really clingy and unsettled and hungry again. So thankfully he is eating again especially back on solids Yipeeeee

Jo - so good to hear from you and it sounds like Caitlin is doing really well, that is great!! Have missed you on the discussion forum.

Bron - that is complete crap, hopefully they can work something out for you - crossing fingers for you xx

Skye - wow look at Jesse go hey? Pulling himself up already wow!! and how cheeky looking over the cot. DJ just does 360 degree turns in the cot and I walk in and find hiim in the weirdest places....

Trina - wow sounds like Summer is definitely a little daredevil I think DJ will be the same, he is going to be very active when he can start crawling and walking.

Danni - don't you just hate it when you check on them because they are whinging or screaming and then to walk in the room and they are fast asleep arghhhh happens all of the time....

SJ - that is what DJ was doing a few weeks ago when I started back at work so I was a walking zombie also, I feel for you because I know what you are going through. I thought it was teething because he had all of the symptoms including diarohea but no teeth haha They say they move up and down so it must be very painful for them.

Prama - any luck with Hobart? hope you can find somewhere to stay it would be such a great time away for the 3 of u How are you going anyway? we will need to catch-up sometime soon, maybe Monday? Have you got any plans?

Well i better go, gotta get organised for work tomorrow.

    Shell xx

Yeah Prama, Jazz seems to be back to normal. She ate heaps of food today for the first time. the FDC lady said she was a guts LOL!
She went to bed an hour and a half later than normal coz we were out doing the grocery shopping, she was totally wrecked and fell asleep straight away.

Wow Bron! Glad somethings going right
Let us know when the pic is in.

I went to the physio this morning.
Lol! I've got my hips taped up. It feels so wierd.
I've officially got pelvic instibility. She put tape from one to the other for a bit of support til she finds her belly belt/band things that will help a bit more.
The pain isn't nearly as bad as it was a few months ago, but its good to have some one who understands. The doctor I asked about it when I was pg just treated me like an idiot & said 'your older now'....as if I was in my 50's or something. Twit.
The physio's advice if anyone else ever has this problem is to keep asking. Eventually someone will help.
I wish I took the last doctors advice I asked about it. I only had about 2 weeks to go & she said I can get a brace to take thee pressure off my pelvis, but the word 'brace' sounds a bit more uncomfortable than belt. & since I didn't have long to go, I didn't worry about it. Oh & I was told it would be back to normal with in 6 weeks.
So anyway. Finally feeling better about that.

Hmmm.....I was going to go get some bags so I can pack some more things, but my scabby neighbours asked to borrow money, so I told them I have none. Can't go spending money I don't have damn it.
I should've grabbed what I needed this morning, but Jesse needed a sleep, so I thought I'd go back later. Bugger!!

Can't wait to be away from these neighbours. The ones we just got to know that I thought were great. They were, till they started asking to borrow money, then the car. Now things are disappearing from the yard....
The kids motor bike went missing. Only one person knew I wasn't home & that it was in the shed down the back that has fallen down. (Literally had to be picked up to get to the bike. Guess they thought we wouldn't notice)
It rained all day Saturday & when Anth saw bike tracks in the dirt in our yard he went for a look to see if it was there. Gone. Then he went to grab his keys out of his car next door....the same tracks behind their house.
We are keeping quiet til me & the kids get out, then all hells gonna break loose I think. Anth is wild. My brother gave the bike to the kids only a few weeks ago. They haven't had the chance to use it once yet!

Anyway. Jesse wants me. Better go wait for my 'great' neighbours to get back with my car. (I would say no, but I've seen alot of what they are like. Trust me, better to stay on their good side. Pathetic loosers.)
