    Hi girls,

Finally got a chance to post..... DJ asleep and I am up early..... I thought no point going back to sleep after giving him his bottle. He only takes 120ml of his morning bottle then breakfast is normally when he wakes up 2 hours later I thought he was getting another tooth, he might have though..... He was crying uncontrollably early last night and that can only mean a tooth. He did grizzle a few times in sleep last night as well. I will have a feel when he wakes up. He will only take the Bonjela if it is on his toothbrush

Skye - sorry to hear about your break-up with Anth but it is probably a good decision considering what you have been through with him. It will be hard, but you have basically been doing everything yourself for a long time now. Big hugs, and we are always here if you need support.

Bron - I like the idea of a midpoint birthday as well, might bring it up with my mothers group and see what they say.....

Prama -sooo cute on the farm cake. I am making DJ a big 1 cake, found a recipe in the Good Taste magazine, thought I would start with something fairly simple for me kehehe That is great news that your mum is coming over for his first birthday - that is soooo sweet!!!! especially at a good time when you start work

Lily - I find DJ's routine is better at daycare as well, he sleeps better and doesn't grizzle as much because there are so many other babies and kids around to play with. He is stimulated more with lots of things to do.

Danni - yeah you don't have to do anything big, even if it is just family, you can still take lots of photos, but I am sure you won't have to bother taking the pics, because the grandparents will do that

Everyone else, hope you are all well.

Trina - haven't heard much from you, are things ok?

SJ - sounds like you had a horrible experience with family day carers, have you had any luck elsewhere?

    Hey guys. Thanks.
I was actually expecting him to still be, I dunno, checking up or something, but I haven't heard a thing yet. No phone call, no texts.
So now I'm expecting him to get the ****s coz I'm not ringing or texting either.

Anyway, I'm keeping busy. Going to Coffs today shopping with a friend. Then tomorrow one of my mates who I've known since I was about 7 is bringing a group of friends here camping for the weekend.
So she'll get to meet Jesse. She's managed to meet all of them by the time they were 18 months old. She tried to meet them all before they were one, but got in a bit late with Bri.
So it should be a good weekend.

I can't believe you guys are already planning birthdays! The ILs & I have talked about it, I told them they have to be here coz they were there when both the girls turned 1. So that's something I've done, but thats it. I'll probably do the usual BBQ in the park thing.

I just realised that Anth will probably come up here with his parents for Jesse's birthday. I dunno if I'll see him before then, but thats almost a definite. Oh well. I might ask his parents to stay here or make sure they have room where ever they are.
Crap. Now I'm all nervouse about celebrating my babies first birthday

thanks shell! i emailed out the invites yesterday, i find that easier than paper ones, cos it's personalised and enviromentally friendly! that's sounds like a nice one, a big 1.
hope he sleeps better tonight, how many teeth does he have?
poopy woke up at 3ish, i hope it's only cos he was cold and not starting to wake up again.. he now wakes up at 5am.. eeeekk too early but i suppose it will be ok when we go back to work.

skye - i read your thread, im so sorry to hear abt you and anth, but you have been doing most of the parenting for your children from what you've told us. and i guess, parenting anth too. it's not fair on you. maybe you and anth might get back together, maybe you wont.. but i hope at least he's realised what he'll be missing and what he's done. he's not a child anymore.
is it poss to change over his fone to his name or terminate the line so u dont have to pay so much. that's a lot of money that could be used for the house and the kids...

Skye. In some respects what you have been going through with Anth sounds so similar to me & Matt but I'm not quite ready to give up yet. (still have a few things to sort out before I'm ready to make that decision).

I knew this would happen sooner or later but I was hoping that I would be one of the "lucky ones"
Sleep at night has become a bit of an issue! Up until about a week and a half ago Jazz would normally go down by 8 or 9pm at the latest and sleep through until about 6:30am. But since shortly before Matt came home from Melbourne things have been getting worse and in most cases she's been fighting sleep for longer and longer therefore not going to bed until very late. And she's also been waking up 2-3 times as well! I don't know if she's getting teeth or just trying to exhert her will now that she's getting older. But we get huge tantrums even though she is clearly tired. I've done my best to keep the night routine the same but it's not working! Last night she didn't go to sleep until after 11pm and then woke up at 1am and 3am.

danni and skye - hope things work out the way is best for yourselves....

shell - you must be so excited to go to mykonos, im sure you'll have a blast with the nightlife there!!

poopy's almost back to his oldself, not so clingy and eating well. his face has filled up again. but yest i weighed him and he has lost 1/2kg... poor bubba. and he's taken to laughing at me when i read him stories with different voices!! haha

    so glad it's the weekend!

    Hi all.
I'm just letting you know without going into detail that domestic violence of all kinds have actually been a major issue with me & Anth.
I know you guys didn't really need to know, but I think I need to get it out. If I keep shutting it away & hiding it, I'll forget how painful it all was & give it another go.
I can't let myself do that.

So anyway! Hope you are all well.
Still waiting for Jesse's 6th tooth to come through.
Jaz & I started talking about his birthday today.
I think we are having a Roary cake. From the movie Cars.

skye - so sorry to hear that, there is no excuse for violence and it's better that you get away from it. for and the kids. you wouldnt want jaz and bri to end up w men who are violent and jesse to turn into one... you are a strong, fantastic woman.
you inspire me, you are so amazing at a young age.. the kids are lucky to have a mum like you.
i only wish we lived closer so we can meet up.. sigh...
