Skye. In some respects what you have been going through with Anth sounds so similar to me & Matt but I'm not quite ready to give up yet. (still have a few things to sort out before I'm ready to make that decision).

I knew this would happen sooner or later but I was hoping that I would be one of the "lucky ones"
Sleep at night has become a bit of an issue! Up until about a week and a half ago Jazz would normally go down by 8 or 9pm at the latest and sleep through until about 6:30am. But since shortly before Matt came home from Melbourne things have been getting worse and in most cases she's been fighting sleep for longer and longer therefore not going to bed until very late. And she's also been waking up 2-3 times as well! I don't know if she's getting teeth or just trying to exhert her will now that she's getting older. But we get huge tantrums even though she is clearly tired. I've done my best to keep the night routine the same but it's not working! Last night she didn't go to sleep until after 11pm and then woke up at 1am and 3am.

    Hi all.
I'm just letting you know without going into detail that domestic violence of all kinds have actually been a major issue with me & Anth.
I know you guys didn't really need to know, but I think I need to get it out. If I keep shutting it away & hiding it, I'll forget how painful it all was & give it another go.
I can't let myself do that.

So anyway! Hope you are all well.
Still waiting for Jesse's 6th tooth to come through.
Jaz & I started talking about his birthday today.
I think we are having a Roary cake. From the movie Cars.

skye - so sorry to hear that, there is no excuse for violence and it's better that you get away from it. for and the kids. you wouldnt want jaz and bri to end up w men who are violent and jesse to turn into one... you are a strong, fantastic woman.
you inspire me, you are so amazing at a young age.. the kids are lucky to have a mum like you.
i only wish we lived closer so we can meet up.. sigh...

You guys have no idea how much it means to know that you care so much & think so much of me when you've never met me.
Specially when I don't think much of myself at all.
    Thanks just for listening.

Skye hun you made the decision to move yourself and the kids to a new place for a new start. It was an amazingly brave and corageous thing to do and you should be proud of yourself.I dont have to have met you in person to know what a great job you do with your kids and the ups and downs you have had.YOU need to take care of you too and stay strong and be proud you took a stance and did what was right for you all. YOu know you can come on here and vent and if you need someone to talk to in person am happy to email my number so you can pick up the phone and just let it all out. YOu have loads of support and people who care about you so dont forget it ok.
    *hugs*

I for one feel very close to everyone in our baby buddy group. We are all on a journey and on it together. We all have a bond imo. You are a highly valued member of this group. I have done this in the past and really need to do it again...go look into a mirror, look yourself in the eyes and repeat these words "I am highly valued, I am special" and any other motivational words you would like to use. Do not stop looking at yourself in the eyes. I guarentee you will cry, but doing this regularly especially when you are in a state of low self esteem is powerful and can change your outlook. There is absolutely nothing wrong with talking yourself up to yourself. Also, while you're looking into the mirror, speak positive things you would like for your future. You have to maintain eyecontact with your reflection though.
