    Hello all!

Eeeek everytime I come on here it reminds me how slack I am! I still haven't had Ari's 12mth check. We aren't decided on whether or not to go with the mmr yet, maybe delay until she is 3-4 as there has been a lot of publicity about the links to autism and as DS has been diagnoised with autism I just don't want to do anything that might trigger it later on.

Karina - hope claire is feeling better now and that your DH is OK! Great to hear I'm not the only one still feeding too, starting to get those funny looks now that she walks so much.

Ali - Would it be worth getting it checked by a dentist? I think we took DS to see a dentist when he was 1 or 2 (it was part of the health program in Maryborough at the time) Hope the move goes smoothly

Rachel - yay for Grace! Ari is forever falling over (mainly because she is trying to run everywhere)

Richelle - Hope everyone is feeling better now

    Howdy doodys!

Well we have mostly moved in - there is still a few things over at the other house, and most of the hanging clothes are still in its cupboards, but most stuff is here, and we will be getting the rest of the stuff soon.

Haven't really even begun unpacking yet - I was feeling like death warmed up on Friday, so I didn't do much of anything then, and yesterday we went to Bunnings and spent ages there looking for various things, and at the prices of some things. I was looking for something to line the cupboards with before I put anything in them - my sister got these rolls of a non-slip mat thing from Ikea, and I was looking for something similar, but couldn't find anything. So annoying!!!

Anyway, gotta go - J just got back, and now we have to do some work.

Sarah, yeah I dont think many people know I'm "still" breastfeeding Claire. She is pretty petite so people tend to think she is younger than she actually is. I just say to people that the WHO recommends it until 2 years old, if anyone asks why she is still being BF/not on formula yet. Although no one has ever really asked, except my mum and sister. Claire is going through this stage now where she'll just come over to me and start tugging at my shirt to try to get to the booby.

Ali, we have one of those discount store/$2 shops near us, and they sell those non-slip mats in long skinny rolls for pretty cheap. Hope you are feeling better today.

Well the other day my washing machine stopped working, which is a major PITA because we use cloth nappies!!! So, last night, I HAND WASHED nappies in the bath. Just the wee ones, not the poo ones. I'm going to wait for Claire wake up from her nap then I might go over to my mums place to use their washing machine. Need to wash my and DH 's clothes for work! Our vacuum cleaner also packed it in and we bought a new one just last week, and now we probably have to go and spend a stack of money on a washing machine! Argh!!! Appliances!!!

    Hey,
How are you all sorry i been MIA for a while its been mayhem here. Just with kids getting the flu then i got it really bad. It sucked i went through 1 1/2boxes of tissues. . . And so many panadol - still not fully over it, but almost.

Izzy had her needles the other day, there was ment to be three, but they ran out of one of them so only got two... Izzy screamed the most horrible scream but when it was over she just gave me pick cuddles and sobbed in my arms a little... then the nurse walked out, and when she walked back in - Izzy yelled something really horrible in baby language at her! It was so funny!

Hey Cass, Izzy is the same weight as Oskar 10.1kg, length 77cm, head 46cm, they are almost in unison! hehe so cute.. .

Sorry i havent done personals for everyone, these kids are driving me insane and i really need to take the 3yop to kindy (i know that sounds horrible) but he is so naughty today - well actually any day he is left with me, and if i tell him to behave he turns around and says your not my mum you cant tell me what to do~ Soooo hard!!

    Sorry bye !

Cass-blob - hoping your all feling better and only 5 more days till school goes back! Hooray :-)

Ali - good to hear your all settled in

Rachel.. big woohoo for Grace!! They look so cute when they first start walking. There's a few bubs in our mother's group who've just recently started walking, I love it. I'm not worried that Oskar isn't interested too much yet, cos then he'll be harder to catch!! lol.

Sarah, we're still BFing too. Oskar isn't about to give it up I can tell you that much now! I've had comments from way back when he was getting teeth... like, you'll have to give up now and I'm like.. ummm why?? biting?? ummm nope. Now it's, oh you're a big boy now you're one... well you know what, he likes it, I like it and it works for us.

Cass, all the best hun, I hope that it goes well for you. Iz should be fine oh and step kids can be a little nastly like that... I was adopted and remember saying that to my mum!

Karina, how totally annoying!! It's always something you can't live without too!

Oskar has had a bit of a rough week, had a temp up and down on Sun, doc on Monday and shows he has a really red throat, so onto the antibiotics as he had throat infection a few months ago too. Well, Monday night, OMG I think I had like 2 hours sleep (worse than a newborn it was) and poor Oskar would wake up crying and wouldn't settle... didn't even want boob!!! Now, there's something really wrong if that's the case. So at 3:30am I was soooo close to taking him to the hospital or calling the ambulance except that I didn't want to be left sitting up there for like 5 hours like last time before they see you and also the cold night air.. I thought I would keep an eye on him (he still sleeps in our room in his cot next to my side of the bed) and then I could at least doze for a few mins and lay down. His breathing wasn't sounding the best and he'd started to cough that awful seal barking sound... and I thought crap he's got croup or something I reckon. So, he threw up his brekky and I thought right we're going back to the doc's and sure enough poor little fella has had croup. He's a lot better now and after his first dose of medicine Tues arvo he slept right through (mind you it took about 2 hours to get him to sleep, I think he was sooooo overtired from not sleeping the night before that he just kept working himself up)... anyway, all seems to be good now thank god! I hate that sound when they cough and struggle to breath cos they're so upset on top of it.
