Hi girls...hey Jessica, great to see you here!!

Just thought I'd pop in and say hi. I'm another Cass...rofl...which is funny considering I think I've only come across a few over the years.

A little about us - My little man Oskar decided he was ready to meet us on Monday just gone (26th) and took only 3 1/2 hours...he was in such a hurry he ended up in distress (HB dropping to approx 40 at the end of each contraction) as my waters were in his way and bulging but hadn't broken, my cervix was good to go and I'd felt like pushing for about an hour by then. When they ruptured the membranes there was meconium, so he was then vacuum assisted due to the toxin risk. I got 2nd degree tear but it's healing ok just uncomfortable. He was a little trooper though and is doing great!! I'm very proud of him. We've been home for a couple of days and he feeds like it's going out of fashion. Midwife did home visit yesterday and he's already put on 70 grams!!!! Today though I am feeling like a combination of a feeding machine or a huge dummy...lol. He just wants to be snuggled with mum today and really...I'm LOVING it anyway.
