Karen! - Yeah briley went well today. She loved it. The whole way in she was just looking forward out of the windscreen. She also LOVES having the air-con on her feet. You should see it, its soo cute. She wiggles her toes so they air-con gets in between them!! LOL!!

Kim - Darcy has a dummy hey??? What will she be like if you keep her past 6pm?? I really don't know what advice to offer you. I'm half in the postion you are!! I am soo sorry i can't help you more.

On a good note...I hope she has grown well for you. Why don't you want too go the Kylie concert now?? I was in coles today and saw some deer antlers. They had little flashing lights on them too. Briley looked so cute in them!!

I have been running around in town all day today. Went and picked up mum and sister to drag them around with me. They were fighting over Briley all day!! She loved it but. Got into town and you would'nt believe it.........I forgot the bloody pram!!! Man i was spewin. Lucky mum had a capsule in her car and she had to sit in that while we had lunch. She could sit up properly in it and loved looking around!

Karen, no not recent. Two months or more. Darcy has been turned around for a few weeks now, but she could stand and support herself just holding onto something at 8 weeks.

She's still a skinny minny. 7.4kg and 68cm long.....and she can finally roll from back to belly! Woohoo all my hours on the floor with her haven't been for nothing! She's fascinated with the carpet pile LOL. And she's learnt to understand 'dance'. She bops along to whatever's on. Quite cute.

Sara I'm looking forward to it, but nervous about leaving Darcy with Cameron all by himself....he can't handle her for more than 20minutes on his own usually so I hope she goes to sleep for him. That and I haven't bought new clothes forever, and I'm going out with the girls and I don't want them to think I'm a dag! I'm normally pretty confident in myself and all of a sudden I feel 15 again.
Funny that you say Briley loved looking out of the windscreen. We had Darc in the EH the other day (before it blewup) and the back seat is higher than the front bench seat. She was smack bang in the middle and thought she was king of the castle!
When Darcy and Katy are in the car together, one makes a noise and the other looks around as if to say, "What's that? There's only usually me making noise in the car!".

Have you noticed with toddlers that when you are out shopping and they spot the pram and then the baby they are sooo facinated?? I have noticed that heaps lately!!
So she has'nt put too much weight on then. I think they slow right down now don't they?? I know Briley has. Darcy is very long though is'nt she. Briley is only 66 1/2 i think. Or 61 1/2. I can't think right now!!

Vic - Yeah Briley's carseat is pretty big too. We had it in the front of Brents ute the other day and i could barely fit in there. I was squashed up against the door. Everytime we got back into the car i had to do my seatbelt up before i closed the door!!! And then mum got in the back with her today and said it was really big too!!

Well I've just got in from watering the dying garden. With water restrictions in SA you can only water between 8pm and 8am...I dare not get out there a second before 8 as my husband yells out 'It's not 8 yet!!!!!'.

Sara ~ I'll add you on my msn if that's ok? I'll send a little note so that you know it's me....lol @ Briley liking the a/c on her feet. It sounds like you had a busy day today. I hear you about forgetting the pram, I have just a small habit of doing that, pain in the butt. Having Phoebe weighed in the next week or so when she has her immunisations, she has really stacked it on since she started formula more than a month ago now....we call her our 'chunky chick'.

Kim ~ OK another question....is Darcy on solids. Just rattling a few things around in my head that might help you out. Woo Hoo for Darcy rolling over...Phoebe still isn't rolling over from back to front, but I'm sure she will get there eventually. She just likes to do her own thing, so I just let her be. Like Sara I'll add you to my msn, if that's ok. How cute, Darcy bopping around when you say dance.

Nat ~ How adorable is Emerson in those reindeer antlers....I don't think I could resist either. But yeah thanks for reminding us all that christmas is sooooo very close.

Evening girls. Thought I’d catch up before I go to bed. Had a wonderful night to myself catching up on housework and washing ( just remember there is a load ready to hang LOL). We had more swimming lessons today and then coffee with friends. Tomorrow we have grocery shopping and cooking planned. I also want to wash the car in the next few days!

Mummy ~ Phoebe must love her new position! LOL @ Samuel giving her lessons on big trucks! LOL @ the water restrictions! I swear people are watering their lawns more now! I am an odd day and it always lands on a night when I am out LOL - very annoying!

Sara ~ Sounds as though you had a busy day. Grrr @ forgetting the pram – how annoying! At least the middle of the brownies were still good LOL. Last night for dinner I had hot potatoes and tonight I ended up throwing together a quick pasta – creamy tomato bacon and chicken! It was very nice besides the fact I added too much grated parmesan LOL. Kids love to play with Em – I have particularly noticed it at my meets each week. All the little kids will come and say hi and play with Baby Emerson LOL.

Kim ~ I hope you have better luck with Darcy tonight. Who would have guessed she was such a dragon from that photo on your ticker LOL? It has been a long wait for Kylie but I’m sure you’ll have lots of fun! I wish I had tickets! How cute about Darcy and Katy being in the car together!

I am thinking about changing the car seat for Em. First of all he is really strong and is crawling. Second of all it is getting really difficult to put him into it the way it is now. My car is so tiny and I literally have to lift him through the gap between the bands going to the boot (hatchback) and the roof and then tip him on an angle to fit him into the seat… sounds complicated right? And the poor kid keeps getting his head knocked LOL. Not to mention that everytime I put him in it he tries to sit up by himself and cries when I strap him back down! I might wait and see how much he weighs at his check up next week and go from there…

Just a quick post tonight I haven't read through all the posts properly......

Nat I LOVE the new ticker......Em is so so so cute!!! I am looking around for antlers for Jayden now LOL He has a Santa hat (From the Warehouse for whoever said they couldn't find one that fits) it came with a tshirt, he have a couple of pics of him in that but no good pics yet.

Main reason for posting tonight was to update on Sheree and Lachie....They arrived home today only Lachie did a power spew and was taken to Gin Gin hospital. He lost 240g in 1.5weeks and has been admitted to Bundaberg hospital. Thats all I know at this stage but of course I will keep you guys updated.

Well with the weekend just around the corner I might have more time to read up....you girls have been chatting up a storm tonight!! Oh I have another candle party Saturday night.....We are meant to bring a date but Chris is working so Jayden is my date!!

Alright I better prepare some bottles and get to bed, nighty night

i had to update on my dear darling baby rayn who is just NOT sleeping unless he is touching me i swore i was not going to let him in our bed as my Dh rolls alot but i have no choice in the matter if i ever want to shut my eyes again that is i took him to the MCHN yesterday he has lost more weight and she thought that he still had sore ears and just to get him checked out by a doctor so off we go this doctor says ears perfect throat perfect chest clear so no real reason why he is not drinking properly but last night he is cried every time he tried to get on the boob and he was near pulling his ear off and it was bright red and to top it off he developed a hacking cough so back to the doctors today cause i so can't function on less then 2 hours a sleep a night ok rant over

Karen, yep Darcy is on solids. Just started, though she's not very good at it yet. I have been trying to add you to msn, but I can't seem to get on when you are. Our water restrictions arent that bad yet. We can water before 10am and after 4pm on Wednesdays and Sundays. No sprinklers though, handheld hoses only and no hosing hard surfaces. I have to admit water wasters tick me off and I an guilty of writing a few tickets....shame job.

Sara, I've noticed that too. They always want to come and give her a kiss. Thank goodness the pram's a bit high and they can never reach.

Well I fed her at 10.30 last night and again at 2am. I only got up between 6 and 8 times in total, so that was good. She still woke and wanted to play this morning only due to the feed it was at 4.30 instead of 3.25. Nothing except a snuggle makes her sleepy then. I have the specialist nurse coming this morning to try and offer some more suggestions as I really don't want to go back to Tresillian.

So as well all know, lachie is'nt doing so well. Tania and I were talking on MSN thismornig and she thought of something which brought me to tears!! She said that we should all put it a bit of money so that she can buy Lachie, Sheree and Wade a gift. I thought it was a beautiful and generous idea. What do you all think??

So today i am just bumming round the house. Place is a mess again!! So i will probably just be cleaning again!! Brent and I had a fight lastnight cause i told him we are'nt sleeping with the fan on tonight cause i am getting a cold. To which he replied "no your not!!!". Its just a pedastal(sp??) fan which is on my side of the bed and blows straight on me. We also have ALL the windows open and its blowing a gale outside!! But he insists on having the fan on. So i got the sh*ts and he is like "your the most annoying person i have ever met", nice blow to my confidence levels. Yeah so i am angry at him today. Sorry for my big rant.

Shazz - Briley has been really clingy lately too. You sure another tooth is'nt coming through??

Kim - Watch out the water police are out and about!!! LOL Only joking. 8-6 times is good. WOW. I would be a zombie if i was awake that much!! You really are having a bad time are'nt you!! What type of solids are you giving her??

Well i better go. I can here my little princess playing in bed. She is talking to her toys i think!!!

well i just got back from the doctor WTF so now he does have a sore ear and throat i could throttle that doctor from yesterday that will learn me to go to our normal gp but she wouldn't give him antibiotic this time as he has just come off a dose and it will over load his system

Shazz - Grrr at first Dr. What a toss!! So what does Ryan just have to wait it out now?? Oh, and i emailed you tania's bank details too.

I have a friend, Michelle, who is 30 weeks pg. I was emailing her at the start of them week but she never emailed me back. So i emailed thismorning and she just replied. She said she did'nt reply the other day cause she had to leave work cause she had really bad bleeding. They did an u/s and internals but can't find the source of the bleeding. They sent her home on bedrest orders which she did but she continued to bleed. So they have done another GTT cause they think she might have GD. She has been to hospital 5 time in the last month for spotting and bleeding. She has been fretting enough as she has lupus and thinks cause things were going so well that everything is going to crash and burn.

So i am pretty upset and worried now. She is cool as a cumumber, but i know she is packin it. I don't want to show her i am worried cause i am have been her positive light since she fell pregnant. All of her family lives down near melbourne so she does'nt really have many ppl to confide in.

She lives nearly 2 hours away from me and i just want to be there to give her lots and lots of cuddles.

The nurse thinks I should change my routine a bit. Normally during the Day Darcy feeds every 3 hours and I feed and then put her to bed as she has already been up for a couple of hours. She thinks I should feed after she wakes up, not before. Gonna give it a go, but what do you guys do?
Darcy's only on a little bit of farex yet. She's not a fan. I'll start twice a day next week and then add something else to it a bit after that.
ETA Sara that's awful about your friend. I have a girlfriend with lupus too and she's pretty unphased by most things, but under it all she's just like anyone else. Maybe you should invite her in here, and she can be an 'honorary' for a bit of support.

Shazz ~ Awww I hope little Ryan is feeling better soon the poor thing! Bummer about not being able to have antibiotics. Have they given him anything to help with his pain?

Kim ~ Your water restrictions sound worse then ours – at least we can still use sprinklers! I would hate to have to water my yard by hand – all the plants would die I think! Last night sounds as though it went better. Just trying to think about what I do with Em and honestly he wakes up, plays for bit, eats and then plays for a bit again before going for a nap. Though just before he had a bottle and went to sleep but he had been up all morning without a nap. I suppose you can only give it a go. When you put her down for a nap does she show tired signs or do you just put her down because its ‘time’ for a nap as part of your routine? How many day sleeps does she have and how long? Could it be that she’s getting too much sleep during the day and therefore won’t settle over night? Shoot me down if I’m completely wrong – just throwing questions at ya!

Sara ~ LOL @ you two fighting over the fan! Why don’t you just move it? Sending lots of love to your friend as well – does she have access to the internet? BB might help her get through this maybe? How much are we all putting in for the pressie and what are we thinking of getting?

Vic ~ Good luck with getting some work done! Very strange that you’re only an hour away from level 4 water restrictions! Honestly I hate them – I’m not a water waster but the time I find free to remember to water the lawn isn’t in the allowed time LOL! Which reminds me that I must remember to do it tonight as I’m sure its my day!

Well I’m just waiting for Em to wake up so we can go grocery shopping. I honestly thought he’d be awake long ago but he’s not LOL. Normally he wakes at 3 in the morning for a bottle and then is up at 7.30 – 8.30. Last night he didn’t wake till 6 for his bottle and then slept till 9.30 and then didn’t go down for a nap till maybe an hour ago. So who knows what is going on LOL.

Oh and *I think* we have accomplished self settling in the day. Its quite funny really – Tuesday I could not get him to go down for his naps until I put him in the cot and walked away and left him (mind you after an hour of trying each time) and he’d promptly go to sleep LOL. I was so so angry until it suddenly occurred to me that it was a good thing – DER! He’s been heaps better since then settling himself almost everytime! He has also taken to sleeping on his back but partially on his side (if that makes sense) with his head strained upwards and his hands holding the sheet or a toy or something. It is so cute!

Supermarket is going to be so busy now its getting later LOL… darn kid! Will BBL.

When you put her down for a nap does she show tired signs or do you just put her down because its ‘time’ for a nap as part of your routine? How many day sleeps does she have and how long? Usually by the time it's time for a sleep (as part of our routine) she's tired anyway and showing signs of the same. She usually has 2-3 daytime sleeps of about an hour but ranging from 1/2hr to 2 1/2 hours. I've thought about the too much sleep during the day thing, but I'm not sure that's possible as if she didn't sleep during the day she'd be overtired (like today) and be hard to settle at night (like now).

I will try what she said tomorrow. I'm going to move her solids to the morning as I think she's too tired at night. She doesn't take much at all so hopefuly she will if she's more awake. That said though, my normally happy baby has just screamed her heart out for the past hour and a bit, so I might see how she goes.

Kim: I wish I had days where I didn’t have to get dressed or get Jayden dressed haha. We had a few of those days while I was on leave. I feel for you with being up all night. Jayden isn’t that bad but its nearly killing me with him waking just 2 or 3 times a night. Like what Sara said…can you keep her up past 6.30pm? You sound like me with leaving Darcy with Cam….I have got better now though now I have to…..Chris is pretty good when he want (and has) to be. I’ll let Sheree know….she will appreciate it!

Leanne: How cute Katy blowing raspberries. Jayden does it on my neck, the first time he did it he was crying and buried his face into my neck and blew a raspberry, he does it on his own arm too.

Karen: How cute Samuel telling Phoebe all about the trucks and busses!! Hows the house hunting going?

Sara: Nearly every time we go out there is at least 1 kid that comes up to have a look at Jayden…..Jayden did it to another kid when we were at Bundy Thunder…..I was holding him and he was staring and laughing at a little boy (7yo) in front of us, it was so cute!! I wouldn’t like the fan blowing on me either…Chris wanted to put A/C in our room….I don’t think we need it though we have a ceiling fan if it was really hot but nights are usually nice here.

I’m not sure how Lachie fed in hospital, but he was being tube fed with success in Bundaberg Hospital before they went to Brisbane. I’m pretty much waiting for Sheree to update me as I don’t want to harass her too much as I’m sure she’ll be busy with Dr’s, specialists etc.

As far as the gift goes….any suggestions would be appreciated, I was thinking a big teddy bear or something. Florists would have a nice gift pack perhaps?? With the money, put in what you feel comfortable giving and to what you can afford. I would be the only one who knows how much each put in and I don’t need to tell anyone what someone else has put in IYKWIM. If you haven’t already contacted Sara, email me if you are interested. Also for all that are interested can you email me to let me know approx how much you want to put in as I want to buy something tomorrow…assuming I know what to buy hehehe. If you want to know anything else or have suggestions I am on MSN and although I might have away (usually hiding from ppl) I won’t be too far away.

We went shopping Wednesday arve and I had clothes on layby for me I put $40 with $40 to go…..I couldn’t help myself and I picked it up last night. I also bought Jayden a Tigger jolly jumper and he loves it!! I had him in it this morning and he was bouncing away. The dogs like him in it too as they can see him on the same level. I bought 2 prs of shoes for me and 2 tops for my friend’s daughter who is turning 2 on Monday….Oops won’t get there in time I just sent it today……I can’t remember what else I bought but I spent about $200 yesterday!! Chris is on his last N/S for the season, it’kk be a fairly quiet one for us. BigW have a 1 day sale on tomorrow, they have huggies for $30 so I got my niece to hide 2 of the 3 boxes that was there so they don’t sell out before I get there LOL they also have a 195cm xmas tree for $20!! Its probably dodgy but I told Chris if its not dodgy I’m buying it as our tree is only little (so it could go on a table out of the dogs and cats reach) Well huge post again…..sorry I don’t blame anyone if they don’t read it all!! Oh I started Jayden on the Pear and banana Farex.....He loves it so much more and I can't get it in his mouth quick enough!! I can't wait to introduce more food now!
