Jodie, my DH is 6'3", I'm average at about 5'6". Darcy loves to eat....anything, she just loves to eat. She mainly has what we have and that includes seasoned and spiced stuff. FIsh pieces, nuggets noodles and frozen veges are easy if I'm pushed. If I'm really pushed she has the "Only Organics" Jar food - it's the only one she really likes. Scrambled egg, cereal, cheese, yoghurt, fruit, cucumber, tomato, pizza.....I could go on forever. The only thing she doesn't really like is icecream. If what we are eating is a bit hard to eat, I blitz it, if not she just uses her fingers.
Good luck today.
I am so jealous of you girls when you talk food. I really feel we are waaaayyyy..... behind you gals! I spend an absolute fortune on baby food and for him to only eat half a small jar atm (at the absolute most - WITH FUSS), it is such a waste. He is just too busy to eat atm, it is sooo frustrating, grits his teeth and chucks a tanty that he wants out of the high chair! He seems to be good with food if I am in the lounge munchin on something and he thinks mmmmm... that looks interesting and whalaa he tries it. But it is frustrating when it is a messy food as we get it everywhere. But see when he eats like this it is not much and that is why I prefer to feed him still then I know what he is getting. But in saying that I am willing to keep trying things. Like yesterday I cooked a lasagne early so it was ready for his 5pm dinner. I put it in one of those suction type plates and nope he wrenched it off and chucked it all over the ground! Grrrr..... I keep running out of ideas, am sick of wasting food and am soooooo over this feeding situation!
These are the foods I am finally having success with:
milk arrowroot bickies
avocado (me feeding it too him)
rice savory chips
ham stick
sometimes cheerios
God I can hardly even think, but don't think there is much more! See meal times are soooo stressful!!!!
