Sometimes I don't have the time/energy/news to post anything... and there are some threads that I like to 'keep an eye on' - without making a comment - so I found this really handy!
Not much news from me...
We're getting Aussie home loans out tonight to give us a compariable home loan. We were approved by CBA for a decent amount - but it was on the condition we sold our house before buying another one. And we couldn't settle on another home before we settled! Too much pressure (with a toddler, a baby on the way, 2 dogs & a cat!!). We are looking at getting a bridging loan - and selling our house ASAP. We have seen a beautiful house that I would love to live in. It's not in the area we were initially looking at - and I've had to convince Yariv to consider it. But for $550k we could get this huge, near new home with 5 bedrooms + a study... or get a 3 bedroom old dump that would need a heap of renovation in the area that we would love. And in honesty - they are only 10-15km away from each other!
I'm sick to death of my garden at the moment. We spent the entire weekend working on it - back & front yards. I am sore and tired. But I must admit - it looks amazing! Even Yariv said he wished we had of done it when we first moved in. Near the entrance there were two ugly bushes/trees... which we ripped out and have planted little plants and flowering 'annuals' and put tanbark over it all. And last night Yariv installed new garden lights which look so cool. They are LED and blue! Admitably - we now look like a flight path... but it's pretty funky.
afternoon all just off to gym now so i'll be back later
good luck with the loans jodie
ok pain awaits me
THANKS for that tip Jodie
gees there's heaps to catch up on....will probably forget something....
Too cute Sheree. I love that those moments are getting more and more.
Glad to hear you're still going to the gym Shazz. I tried pilates last week. OMG! I never knew all my muscles could hurt at once from something seemingly so harmless. Very enjoyable though. Going back this week.
Good luck with oyur move Nat. It must be soon.
Buggar about the video Jodie, but at least you get to take 2. Hope everything's cool with bubbas tummy. You sound so industrious, but that fiance thing sounds all a bit much for me....
Lets have guess on Sara's baby...
I think girl
When is it due?
I've been on day shifts for the last 2 days. Managed 12 hours yesterday but trying to fix up the mess I was left at my old job, so feeling useful again. We're off out to a chocolate cafe tomorrow, Darcy and I. Is Parramatta too far for you Christine cos it's really yummy there. Then play date with my nephew Thursday and Mum and Dad for lunch Friday after I work Thrusday arvie. Oh and it's pouring here again....I'm never going to get any washing done properly - oh well.
Feeling like a bad mum this week. Darcy's had red cheeks for days, but I happened to stick my finger in her mouth Sunday night - oops 3 EXTRA teeth!! Where did they come from? lol. Oh and she can count to 3 - I'm so excited, all that reading has come to something. WHen they count on Sesame street even if it's backwards she's doing 1- 2 -3. funny little sausage.
Gawd how smart is Darcy! Lachlan doesn't sit still long enuf for me to teach him anything!
Oh and:
I think boy (just to be different)
and will be born 24th July 2007.
Chocolate Cafe??? YUM! Parramatta is not too far for chocolate Kim!
Hmmm I think girl for Sara
Kim ~ Darcy sounds sooo smart and cute!! I love that these moments are more and more often now as well.
Jodie ~ Glad the US went alright. I'm sure that when you go back in a few weeks things will be A-ok! Your garden sounds great!!
We finally got Em to blow on hot food tonight lol. Very cute. He's been trying to eat hot stuff for ages and just burning his tongue![]()
Starting back at uni in a week and a half. I can't believe it has gone so fast. Time to do some scrap booking I think. I haven't handed my notice in yet so will still be 4 or 5 weeks before I move yet. I had been hoping to move in the uni holidays but that's not going to happen as they are still painting and fitting stuff and there is landscaping to be done yet.
Going to a good friends newborn photo shoot tomorrow so I'm really excited!
Night All!
nat - im sure i will be in Adelaide during my next pg to buy some things from toysRus for ne baby, baby stores here are too expensive, will def let you know when we head up next. Gosh Em looks adorable in the new ticker! I need to do a new one too now that i have finally bought a new camera.
All that talk of chocolate has got me intoa frenzy.....and i have no chocolate in the house!!!!!!!
Sorry for lack of personals, i did read all the posts though, just too lazy to do so many personals!
Archie is a real littel chatterbox now, he says, 'nice' 'nonsense' and 'serious', why he would choose to say nonsense and serious i really don't know! they are just so funny now aren't they! He loves going to the playground, as soon as we pull up in the car he looks out the window and squeals in excitement, but when its time to go home he screams al the way to the car then all the way home! have now learnt to take food in the car for the way home so the trip is a little quieter! DH flew to Adelaide this morning and won't be abck til saturday so i will be addicted to the internet for the next few days!
Hope you are all well and happy
tehehe just got back from my nutricious lunch - chocolate suffle with a motlen centre with icecream, strawberries and chocolate sauce. I did go to the gym before I went though......
I did disciver the kid with hollow legs doesn't like strawberries - she ate the rest though...
Why fill up on fruit when there's chocolate Kim? Sounds very smart to me!
I just ate two tim tams and a mint slice.
Day three of my Sureslim diet and I have killed it
oh well there's always tomorrow.
Maybe I should just make these 20 extra kg's feel at home.
Don't think they're leaving me any time soon.
Hope all is well
Back to work for me
Uh Oh leanne. Just walk to the photocopier a few more times....
Looks like our TTC might haveto be put on hold in a little while. DH has just applied to go to work in the NT as part of the new govt initiatve for 3-6months leaving november - here's hoping we get a positive before then.
Anyone tried natural threapies?
Woops Dragon's awake - off to do the housework
Kim I am taking Vitex, it is a natural herb, you can get it in a tablet (blackmores brand). I took it last time for one month and fell with lachlan. I believe it is for more menstrual cycle regulation etc... but i do think it just gets things happening for you too. I have only just started to take it again the last few days.
i took vitex too kim though i had a liquid form and it tasted like crap
