    Hi girls...

I've been so flat out in the last week. Our "open house" inspection on Saturday. But on wed/thur/fri we had 8 groups of people through! On Saturday we went out and there were 20 groups of people through in 1/2 an hour. The real estate agent wasn't able to talk to many of them. Apparantly thats a great number for people to come through. I cracked it with the real estate owner though because I'm sick of people coming through every single day when we have a specific open day. And I was not happy with the photographs that were taken. So we have decided on two weekdays and the Saturday. And he says we will get some more photos taken. Bit bloody late! vent over.

I went for another 20 week scan today. The one I had 2 weeks ago showed an anomily (?) with the babies stomach, and because the stenographer went on holidays the following day I was booked in next week for another scan. But I had an appointment with my ob tomorrow morning - and he was unaware of the results from the scan 2 weeks ago! I found another stenographer near my salon and booked in for today. They bulk bill, which was another bonus, after paying out nearly $400 for two scans so far. But when I got to the appointment I explained the situation and he said that I couldn't get another scan under medicare. I was upset... although I didn't cry. He felt sorry
for me so he told me to jump on the bed. He checked all the measurements, with attention on the stomach. He asked what time I had the last scan and I said around 1pm, and he said "I think the doc had a few extra ales at lunch". He said the babies tummy is fine... as is everything else. Phew. He even had a 4D scan machine - and he got me some graphics, and printed off the best photo of the babies hand. Baby was a bit camera shy, so he couldn't get a 4D head shot. But baby looks good, and that's all that counts.

Spoke to the bank tonight, and we are in a catch 22 with finance. We can get a huge loan - but we can't get bridging finance. So we have to wait until we sell & settle on our house before we can buy & settle on another house. We really don't want to rent as that will be a pain with 3 animals and a baby on the way. So our best option is to find a house when we sell ours - and match up the settlement dates - and hopefully the new owner of our current house will allow us to rent our home for a few weeks. Big ask!!

Shaun has been terrific. His naps have been thrown all over the place due to this house thing. I took him for his swim lesson today, and he loved it. He is a real little fish, although he won't kick his legs. He got his first pair of real shoes today. I went to a childrens shoe specialist because I couldn't work out his size, and couldn't get his feet into shoes at the department store. So $60 later he has a cute pair of size 5 shoes that he had no problems walking in. My little baby is growing up into a little boy.

Sorry I can't do personals tonight as I'm really tired. I just caught up on the last couple of pages... and got so excited when I saw Sara's post thinking she was in labour. It won't be long now. Will have to keep a closer eye on the thread, just incase it really happens!

Jodie I hated when we had an auction a couple of years ago now, such an invasion of privacy and soooo many sticky beaks!!!!

Well done on the scan, boy am I pleased, I was soooo concerned! What a **** your last stenographer. So please all is well!

Gosh size 5, my boy is lucky to be a size 3, but I have bought 4's for him to grown into.

Good boy Shaun on sleeping for mummy while so much is going on. So he is a fish too huh, same here. Lachlan loves the water, pitty no heated pools out here, he would love to still be going to swimming lessons.

I really hope the new owners let you rent for a couple of weeks, that is really your best option, surely they will?

    Take care honey.
