    Thanks Jodie - mwah.

Just forgot to say Bec - Lachlan weighed 8.24kgs at 12 months and he just got weighed again at 15ish months and he now weighs 9.11kgs (thought he may have gone up in percentile with that weight gain - but nup). So he is still small, has always struggeled to catch up to other babies, but he looks healthy now which is such an achievement for us. I just reackon he is always going to be a small boy, he is even short - think he is 75.5cm tall, so he is all in proportion. I wouldn't be worried about Jovi, I think you said she was heavier then 9.11kgs didn't you?

sara - i always love reading your posts and seeing how you seem to cruise through motherhood with 2 under 2, you are my hero lol! Sorry to hear that bfing has become a bitof a challenge lately, i agree with Kim, don't let the dr tell you that formula is best, ring the ABA and get some tips from them, maybe even a lactation consultant could see you? I guess it really depends on what you truly want, if you want to switch to formula thats great, just follow your heart with this one i reckon. At 5 weeks with Archie i switched to formula as he had servere reflux and constantly fed and chucked, he still constantly fed and chucked on formula, but it meant that i wasn't completely exhausted by the feeding and DH could help out. In hindsight i wish i had have seen a lactation consultant and gotten all the facts and given bf a better chance (easy to say that now while im not totally exhausted from bfing!). Anyway GL with it, your the mum you know what to do. It would be so cute to see such a little person on a horse!

sheree - i can only imagine the frustration and anger you must be feeling with things at the moment, dont feel guilty about these feelings, yes you have a perfect little boy to love and im sure you are very grateful for that, but it is still totally okay and normal to be feeling the things you are feeling now. big hugs.

It has rained non stop here today and Archie was whinging to go outside all day, in the nd i thought stuff it, he had no nappy or pants on, i put his gum boots and a raincoat on and shoved him out the back door in the pouring rain! He had an absolute ball jumping in puddles and throwing mud at the house, got a bit of a shock when he sat his nude bum on the wet bike though lol!
Our leaking roof still isn't fixed (we are so slack) but a friend who is a roof tiler is coming to replace the broken tiles tomorrow hopefully.

    Morning girls,

Sheree - Thank-you for sharing your story. Again i am so sorry for your loss. I know it might be difficult at first but i know that you will pull through. We are all here for you if you need to vent or just to talk. Time heals all.

Jodie - WOW! Your almost 30 weeks!! Gosh time just goes to quick. I HATE MOVING!!!! I really feel for you. And being pregnant would make it worse! We moved houses when Briley was about 8 weeks old. Now that was hard!!! Will you be in your house before you have the baby??? Speaking of the baby - Do we know the sex??? I think i can remember you telling me you were leaving it a suprise this time?!?!? Yes Briley will be a lucky girl to have this horse if it all works out well!

Elissa - Awwww - thanks mate. Thats a lovely things to say. I actually thought mine were a lot of raving!!! I will keep persisting with the BF but i notice that she is starting to lose weight than i guess it will be best to change to formula. Briley is a formula baby is she is perfectly healthy. Other than her bout of colds at the moment. Did you get any pics of Arch playing in the rain???

Hi to everyone else. Hope you are all well.

Well i might have worked out the problem with Colby's wind and posseting. I think it might be potato of all things. A few weeks ago, the day after a roast meal, i noticed that Colby was always windy the day after a roast. I wondered wether it was from the oils and fats from the roast or something else. I have'nt been eating much potato lately other than at roasts. Then on sunday night i mate idaho potato to have with dinner and lo and behold, we had a really bad windy day and night lastnight. Does this sound silly or what??? Potato giving a baby wind???

We have our 6 week check-up on the 21'st of September and i am going to ask the Dr about it then. If the posseting continues i think i might go and see a CHN sooner. We had a terrible night lastnight. Colby just would'nt settle till after 11pm. I know it was the wind but.

Well better get going. Colby is starting to stir and needs a bath and feed before Briley wakes up for her sleep.

    Might BBL!

Oh and BTW - I upgraded to Platiunum Membership yesterday!! WooHoo!!! I am so excited!

Sara: settling on the house on the 10th October. Baby due 26th November. So I have about 6 weeks to get settled into the new home. Actually, we get access (to start renovations) on the 26th September.
And no idea of the sex of the baby. Really wanted a surprise this time.

    Lucky for that then!

Suprises are nice. I think we might find out for the next 2...or not...i don't know! I love the suprise at the end. Lucky i won't have to make that decision for some time yet though!

Do you have an inkling or what you might be having? Have the pregnancies been different or the same??? But thats not really much to go on! I can vouch for that. My 2 pregnancies were 100% different! And my labours!

sara - i didn't get any photos af Archie in the rain but i got sme video footage, i am hopeless at remembering to get the camera out. i agree formula is fantastic stuff, nothing wrong with it, Archie grew up strong and healthy on it too and i will have nothing against giving it to any future babies if need be. i hope you get Colby's wind sorted out so yo can get some rest. woohoo on the platimun membership! I am thinking of getting it too, just gonna wait til the bank balance builds up a bit again.
how many kids are you planning on having, four or more? Good on you large families are great.

DH wants a surprise baby next time, but i think i'll end up wanting to find out again, im not good with surprises and waiting.

I have finally cleaned out our bedroom, it was sooo dusty its disgusting, can't believe i let it get that bad, now i can actually see the carpet! Gonna change the furniture around when DH gets home this afternoon. Archie slept 15 hours last night!! and no night waking, if he always slept like this i think id have 5 kids! Gotta go and buy a heap of those big plastic containers with wheels to store all the baby and maternity stuff and get it of the bedroom floor. What does everyone do regarding toys?? There are just so many and he hardly plays with htem, i don't know whether to just leave them out, pack them away for next bub or give them away....what is everyone else doing, we have hardly any storage and a very small shed that is already full.

    Hey Girls

Just at a friends house and its like an internet cafe lol. 3 of us are on laptops while another is getting some pregnancy photos done! Thought I'd take the chance to catch up on some personals.

Sheree I am so so sorry that this has happened again. You know you are in my thoughts constantly. I can only imagine how much harder this time with Wade working. Thank you so much for sharing your story - I know how hard it must have been for you and how sad you must be feeling right now. Sending you lots of love and hugs.

Christine Your weekend away sounds lovely. I can't wait to start taking some holidays with Emerson.

Jodi GL with the packing and the move. Emerson has done the same thing lately with going to sleep. He really fights it and its quite painful some nights. In saying that last night he fell asleep on my lap at 7.30 without a bottle lol. I can't believe you're 30 weeks already! That has gone so fast!!!!

Ellissa I have put on 9kgs as well Not happy Jan! I am motivated to get rid of it in time for summer. I'm thinking about joining the gym... OMG @ him picking up the swear words!!!

Sara Glad to hear things are going well with Colby. The horse for Briley sounds liked fun too!

I am officially on uni holidays now for 2 weeks. I am really looking forward to catching up on things - particularly sleep lol. After holidays I have 5 weeks and then its the end of the year. YAY! I can't wait!

Ohhh and YAY for the new platinum members. Isn't the arcade great? I love playing some of the old games!

Better go lol. Will talk soon.

Nat - Great to hear from you hun! You have been very MIA around here lately! Uni must be keeping you so busy. I really hope you enjoy your holidays. How is uni going???

I am umming and ahhing about wether to go back now. I don't want it to take away all my time from the girl. If it was going to be like that i think i will wait until they are both in school. I really want to do it though. As strange as it sounds i enjoy the study and assignments and stuff. If i do decide to go back it will be part-time externally.

Brent made a good point though. He said he think i shoud go back part-time externally and then full-time when the girls are bigger. He said that at least then i will have still have had a part in it in the mean time. I thought this would be good. I am just going to play it by ear. When the uni sends out their letter asking if i want to continue, i will see how i feel at the time and make a decision then. No use stressing over it now.

Elissa - I am a bad one for forgetting the camera aswell. I had hundreds of photos of Briley when she was Colbys age now and i only have about 50 or so of Colby. BTW - I am planning on having 4 children. I said to my mum if i won the lotto i would have 6! But thats not likely to happen! Speaking of lotto - 20 Million this saturday!!

Ok i have a question for you all girls,

How long after having bub did your AF come back???

Well, i bled after Colby's birth up until about a week ago. Then this afternoon i went to the loo and wiped and i have bright red bleeding. I think that i might have my period already. Is this normal???

I have been getting some period like pains which i thought were associated to my other problems. But now i think it might have been period pain. Since i noticed the bleeding that pains have gotten a bit more frequent.

Surely i should'nt be getting a period back already! Colby is only 5 weeks old and exclusively breastfeeding!!

    Morning girls,

Quiet in here at the moment. Did i scare everyone away with my AF question???

We are thinking about going into mums for the day today. I did'nt want to go in till tomorrow or friday but i hanging out to go in for some OTHER human interaction. I will leave the girls with mum and go and do everything i had to do tomorrow so i dont have to go back in again! Hopefully they dont play up!

Well better get moving. I will pop back in shortly to see if anyone else has posted. I am a bit of a loner today!

nat - hi great to hear from you,lol at the internet cafe. Hope you catch up the much needed sleep during your holidays. lets hope we can both be good and drop the wieght quickly and easily.

sara - yea i hear you on the photos, we get slack don't we. What are you studying at uni? i grew up as one of four girls and loved every second of it, still do. If we win the 20 million we'll probably have 5 kids! unlikely though. i cant remember when i got my period back but im sure i bled from birth to 6.5 weeks on and off. GL with shopping, its nice to have other human interaction thats for sure, hope the girls behave well for you mum.

archie has been a little sweetie this morning, i don't feel 100% reckon i've got a bug of some sort, got the runs woohooo, not! hope Archie and DH don't get it too, its nothing awful, just rather not have it thats all. DH was snoring SO loudly last night and i couldn't get him to stop so i resorted o dragging the spare matress into the lounge and sleeping there, not happy jan.

    Afternoon Ladies.

Just got back from a lovely lunch at Charlies. Its a beautiful day here and I'm now watching Emerson play outside. Just trying to decide whether to sort the inbox or work on my assignment while I am sitting here LOL. Going to mums place for dinner tonight so a nice relaxing day.

Sara Uni is going really well. I am really enjoying the studying though I have to admit to really disliking 2 of my courses which makes it hard to find the motivation lol. But all in all I am loving it. I can't remember with the AF question lol If you can study externally then go for it. I wish I'd waited a year before starting uni. I hate feeling so stressed and putting Em second sometimes. Can you just start with one course a semester?

Ellissa Hope you are feeling better soon! Pmsl @ DH snoring that loudly!

Better stop procrastinating and get something productive done I guess. Will talk later.

    xoxo

    Hi girls,

    Another quiet day in here!

Well i think we might be hitting our 6 week growth spurt here. For the past 2 days Colby has pretty much slept and ate the days away. Lastnight we had a GREAT night. I put her down at 9.00pm and she slept through till 4.15am. It was lovely. Would've been even better had Briley not decided to wake up at 2.15am!!! You can't have everything though i suppose.

Well i think i might have sorted the potato issue. I definetely think its baked potatos that give her wind. We have had mash and boiled potato lastnight and the night before she has'nt budged the next day. No wind problems at all. I did buy some gripe water just incase we have another bout though. I'm not really game enough to try and find out if it really is the baked potato though. I don't want to go through a day and night like that again if i can help it!

As most of you know was at uni at the beginning of the year doing my Bachelor of Nursing. So as it is close time for QTAC applications shortly, i am expecting a letter from the Uni asking if i want to continue or not. I'm still undecided but i think that i am just going to do it part-time external. I don't want to be taken away from the girls at all. But i still want to do something for myself.

So....i have decided to do a Doula course and do that as much as i want to. Once i have completed the course and will be a qualified doula, i will be able to charge for the births. So that is a way for me to still be able to do what i love (midwifery) and bring in a little income for myself.

I am also going to speak to an acedemic advisor about what i should do re: going back to uni part-time external or part-time on campus. I really don't want to flood myself with uni but i still want to work my way towards my dream.

So i have some tough decisions ahead!

Hidy ho all. I'm supposed to be doing housework while Cam's not here shhhhhh....

Sara I think mine was pretty soon after lochia finished too. How cute are your girlies?!?!?! You're right. That is a big decision. I've been thinking about the doula course too.....

Nat so are you going to have a rest these holidays?

Sheree that's awful about having to go through that on your own. Was Lachlan with you or with Wade? and you're very welcome.

We're off to Griffith tomorrow to find somewhere to live.....really looking forward to a 6hr drive NOT! Then back Saturday for the football final....
