kim - oh i wish i could give you a big hug, you poor thing what a rotten start to your new life. i hope youa re starting to recover from the gastro, could anything go wrong for you??? Lets hope that is the end of your run of badluck for a long time. I hope Darcy settles in okay soon. So you don't see Cam at all til Feb, is that right? It mut be really hard for you to at the moment, lucky you are a very strong woman and a wonderful mum for Darcy, an all girl household for a while, i can't imagine what that would be like!

Arch has gone down really well tonight, he came out 3 times and on the third time i told him i have to shut the door now and he didn't argue, just went straight to sleep. i got a couple of hours sleep this arvo when mum took Archie it was wonderful! DH is out in the shed with my sisters boyfriend having beers, i am on the net eating chocolate....

Thanks too Elissa. Guess I should be greatful for what i have got though. Nope no Cam until 10th February. No christmas, no nothing....also means not much of the ILs though.....

Good job Archie! amazing how well they understand now. Darcy was told to sit on her bed until she stopped screaming today - and she did. SHe can also mange green and red atm - that's what we learned today lol.

Yep we knew it would be that far, but the no comms thing is a new development. They were promised all this technology and surprise surprise none has materialised.

We're having a better day today. The screaming hasn't been constant. We planted some vegies this morning, and Darcy was actually a great help. Then she put all the weeds in the bucket as I pulled them out.

after noon all well i'm getting to go to my reunion and i have actually got nervous WTF oh well repeating to myself - i love my life it is good it is good it is good i maybe fat but i'm happy it is good lol there is a bottle of scotch with my name on it i think be back tomorrow wish me luck

Evening ladies,

I've been so busy lately! Trying to focus on my Doula course at the moment and have'nt had much time to come on here. I do pop in and check on everyone though.

Had a big day today! Briley got her first BIG bed!!!!! I am going to pick it up tomorrow! It dark wood with engravings. Beautiful!

Will come back in the morning to do personals. We are all good!

kim - good on you for concentrating on the positives! Wow at Darcy sitting on the bed til she stopped screaming, i really forget ho grown up they are now, i still treat him like he's 12 months old a lot of te time. I told him this morning that if he wanted his dumies he had to go to bed, so he did! i couldn't quite understand what you were trying to say about red and green...do you mean Darcy can tell the difference between red and green?! LOl at not having to see the IL's! Glad Darcy was feeling a bit happier for you, what a great little gardener.

shazz - good on you for going to the reunion even though you were a bit worried about it, i a really happy that you enjoyed yourself!

sara - Yay for Briley's big bed!! Its so exciting isn't it. Archie has had his for less than a week and he has grown up so much already since sleeping in it, he thinks he's so grown up. Hope Briley loves her ne bed and doesn't have too many issues adjusting to the change.

We have had a full on weekend. We picked up our 'new' old bomb for DH to use for work and then Saturday we bought a new car for me and Arch (providing we can get the finance for it, find out tomorrow, should be fine) It is a blue 2004 BA Ford Futura, i picked it out, its the first car i have ever had a say in so im pretty pleased, we are sad to part with our current car but she's getting on in age and km's.

Archie has grown up so much in every way, i can hardly believe it! he is doing really well in his big bed, though the 5:30am mornings really got to me and i had a bit of a 'breakdown' sat night i was just so tired. Arch came into our room this orning so i put him in our bed and played with him, then realised it was only 3:30am! i put him back to bed and shut his door and he slept til 7:00 thank goodness for that i wasnt handling those early mornings at all!

We had roasted vege quiche with caesar saladlast night and Archie ate 2 big plates full!! i didn't think he'd touch the salad so that was a nice surprise.

Hi all wow it is quite in here
Ryan is majorly teeething atm and is one unhappy chappy he temp is spiking and nuerofen is not doing so much so it is pain stop tonight with polarimine poor little thing

shazz - poor Ryan, lucky for painstop with polarmine(doe the polarmine knock em out? i haven't used pain stop before, sounds like good stuff though!) hope he sleeps okay tonight. i reckon Archie is teething again as well he has been really irritable and frustrated today, thanks goodness he is asleep atm!

We picked up our new car today, we feel very special to have such a new car, Archie isn't keen on it though as it is a bit smaller than the Fairlane so he cant see past the passenger seat adn through the front window, will move the anchor bolt to the middle seat tomorrow that should cheer him up.

5am start this morning......glorious NOT!!! bring on Winter again for the dark mornings.
